Day 4 | 31 Day Scripture Challenge

Today is Day 4! How are y’all doing?  My verses for today:

“Therefore put to death your members which are on earth; fornication, uncleanness, passion, evil desires, and covetousness, which is idolatry. Because of these things the wrath of God is coming upon the sons of disobedience.”
Colossians 3:5-6

31 Day Scripture Challenge

About Rachel

"Come now, and let us reason together," says the Lord, "Though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be white as snow; though they are red like crimson, they shall be as wool. If you are willing and obedient you shall eat the good of the land; but if you refuse and rebel, you shall be devoured by the sword"; for the mouth of the Lord has spoken." Isaiah 1:18-20

  1. A bruised reed He will not break, and a smoking flax He will not quench. He will bring forth justice for truth. He shall not fail nor be discouraged, till He has established justice in the earth; and the coast lands shall wait for His law. Isaiah 42:3,4

  2. ” The law of the LORD is perfect, converting the soul: the testimony of the LORD is sure , making wise the simple. The statutes of the LORD are right, rejoicing the heart: the commandment of the LORD is pure, enlightening the eyes.” Psalms 19:7-8

I’m so thankful to you for this challenge… The more I say Psalms 19 over in my head the more I sense the power and strength of our Creator. And I know that no matter what happens in the world around us that Yahweh is sovereign over all…I think I will keep doing this long past the 31 days… I think it is especially important now in the times we are living in. We need to be wise and having our eyes enlightened to discern the times.

    1. Thank you so much! I am thankful you have joined me. :)
Amen! He is sovereign over all and His word so beautifully declares it. Lord willing, I am going to continue on with my memorization even after the end of this 31 day too. I completely agree, it is so important to keep scripture memorized because of the time we are living in. I believe we are living in the days spoken of in 2 Timothy 3 and Mark 13 so the more scripture we know by heart the better! :)
Thank you for your encouragement today!!

    2. I’ve probably read or heard Psalm 37:4 nearly 1000 times, but the more time I spend in God’s word just memorizing and meditating on what it means, the more I understand what it truly means to delight myself in Him. The joy of the L

  3. Whenever I am afraid,
    I will trust in You.
In God (I will praise His word),
    In God I have put my trust;
    I will not fear.
What can flesh do to me?
    Psalm 56:3-4
