Day 1 | 31 Day Scripture Challenge
Day 1 is complete! So thankful for all you who have joined me in this 31 day challenge to soak up the word of God and will be praying God gives us the strength and stamina to continue on the next 30 days!! It was suggested to me(thanks Grace!!) I post my scripture that I memorized each day and let all those who have joined leave a comment with their memorized scripture for the day! So, not mandatory but if you would like to, leave a comment bellow with the scripture you chose for day 1! :)

Anyone up for a challenge?
I love blog challenges. Whether a 365 photo challenge or a challenge to express appreciation, they are so much fun to watch!
Which brings me to my challenge. I have been thinking over Psalm 119:11:
“Thy word have I hid in mine heart, that I might not sin against thee.”
I sadly haven’t been as diligent as I should to memorize scripture lately and know there is no better time than now to start! :) So, I decided to challenge myself to memorize 2 verses day for the next month(and Lord willing, several months after). Annnnd I thought why not encourage my fellow bloggers to join me!
I know, JULY is a super busy month for everybody! I am the busiest I have every been in my life at the moment (anniversaries, bdays, work, traveling, and life in general) and was going to put this off until the fall. But all it requires is about 30 minutes once or twice a day and by the end of the month you will have 62 verses memorized, ready to use whenever needed! That is exciting!! If you would like to join in, leave a comment bellow or shoot me an email and we can hold each other accountable. Or you can do it without leaving a comment. If you don’t wont to join, well then I guess I will be held accountable by who ever happens across this post :)

It’s Saturday Sunday AGAIN(well, it WAS Saturday when I started this post :)!!
If you are reading this post God has graciously brought you to the end of another week. That is 168 hours, 10,080 minutes, or 604,800 seconds. ;) That is definitely something to praise Him for!
I finally made it out in my back yard with my camera for the first time in over 2 weeks. Everything is so green here in Missouri. Hope we get some rain so it stays that way! :)

You know your Dad loves you when he bundles up, treks outside with a drill in hand, slides out on the hopefully frozen pond, drilling holes, risking his life to ensure the pond is frozen thick enough for his daughters to ice skate on. Or when he works practically day and night to provide for his quickly growing family. Or when he endures sitting through countless hours of ballet lessons and recitals just because you wanted to be a professional ballerina(a quickly fleeting aspiration on my end!) Or when he sits in the passenger seat while his daughter attempts to learn how to drive and almost takes out ever light poll in town! Or…. well if I were to go on this post would be never ending! :) To my Dad who has made my 22 years of life extraordinarily exciting in some extremely unique ways, THANK YOU!!! So blessed to have you as my Dad!!!!

From Missouri to Texas and Back in 96 hours | Road Trip
210 miles down and 630 miles left to go!!!! I may not make it home before I lose my sanity…. or perhaps I have already lost it?! ;)
Yikes! Almost another week has past since I last posted. My excuse? I was on a road trip… =D well I am actually still on the road trip just headed home!
Lets see how far I can make it on this post. I have attempted twice so far to post on my cellphone and each time I am almost complete I get a phone call then my wordpress account logs out! So it has been a challenge to post as I travel down the highway to say the least! I will see if I can post this before my battery goes dead. ;) I spent the last couple days in Texas with my Dad and sister. Boy, it was HOT at 101° but still sooo much fun and a blessing to be able to go! This is my 5th trip to Texas and back in the last year so the 840 miles seem like a breeze. I LOVE road trips even when they are extremely quick!!

Still Alive :) | Randomness
Still Alive….? well, I am! =)
I am sitting here in the wee hours of the morning waiting for my Lightroom to load (it has decided to run slower than molasses on a bitter cold January day as of late) so I thought why not do a blog post while waiting!!?
It seems as if I have dropped off the face of the planet seeing I usually have a picture to post almost daily but haven’t posted a thing in almost a week! I am still alive and really haven’t fallen off the face of the planet just off the face of the internet. :)
OK so it has only been 5 days since my last post! Not too long but it has been long and bUSy for me! Mostly work with a few random exciting happenings interwoven into my days but nothing extremely out of the ordinary. God is good and, if you think about it, everything that happens to us who are God’s children, whether “good” or “bad” or just plain “ordinary” is good and exciting. Why? ‘Cause Romans 8:28 says, “ALL things work together for good to them that love God”! That is exciting!! I am thankful for the busy times. HOW ARE YOU?? :)

Little Shiloh | Portrait Session
I had the privilege of shooting little Shiloh’s 18month portraits yesterday morning! I am so blessed and thankful Shiloh’s(< her name is so coincidental isn’t it?!! :) Mom contacted me to be her photographer! I had too much fun photographing this little bundle of energy.
