“Now upon the first day of the week, very early in the morning, they came unto the sepulchre, bringing the spices which they had prepared, and certain others with them. And they found the stone rolled away from the sepulchre. And they entered in, and found not the body of the Lord Jesus. And it came to pass, as they were much perplexed thereabout, behold, two men stood by them in shining garments: And as they were afraid, and bowed down their faces to the earth, they said unto them, Why seek ye the living among the dead? He is not here, but is risen”
Luke 24:1-6
“Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ: According as He hath chosen us in Him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before Him in love: Having predestinated us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to Himself, according to the good pleasure of His will, To the praise of the glory of His grace, wherein He hath made us accepted in the beloved. In whom we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of His grace”
Ephesians 1:3-7
Amen!!! Praise the Lord!!! To think + remember that our Lord Jesus Christ ROSE from the DEAD!!! Death could not hold Him! He lived and died and was raised for each one of us!! I love that powerful reminder from Ephesians…and “that we should be holy and without blame before Him in love”! I’m so thankful that it’s “according to the good pleasure of His will” to make us holy and to keep us in His way!♥♥ What awesome, amazing LOVE!!!

I love the 3rd verse of In Christ Alone….
There in the ground His body lay
Light of the world by darkness slain
Then bursting forth in glorious day
Up from the grave He rose again
And as He stands in victory
Sin’s curse has lost its grip on me
For I am His and He is mine
Bought with the precious blood of Christ
But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us. Romans 5:8
