Wishing my parents a very Happy Anniversary!! My heart is filled with gratitude for the 38 years of marriage God has blessed my Mom & Dad with!! The Lord’s daily faithfulness, mercy, and grace has been beautifully displayed in their life together and for that I couldn’t be any more thankful. John 15:13 is the verse that always comes so instantly to my mind when I think of my Dad,“Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.” Dad has revealed that greater love by laying down his life for me and my family, constantly pointing us to Christ, and encouraging us forward. As we celebrate Father’s Day, I am thanking the Lord for my Dad, for his daily sacrifice, and example which has blessed me beyond describing. Being a Father is no easy task nor is it a task that is done in one’s own strength BUT by the grace of God, my Dad has gone in the strength o the Lord, braved the storms, and stayed the course… and for that, I am so tremendously grateful. So, without further ado… Happy 38th Father’s Day to my Dad!!🙋🏼‍♀️🧡 THANK YOU for your daily sacrifice, support, vision, enthusiasm, wisdom, and love. I am tremendously blessed and thankful to the Lord for YOU! ❤️

Psst… would y’all join me in a HUGE round of applause for a very special guy??👏🏼 I am just a little-LOT shocked and dumbfounded as to where time has gone, when this happened, and how my “baby brother” made it to 6’2″….?!!! 😱😱😱 You guessed it, today’s Abel’s 16th Birthday!!!! 🥳🙌🏻 Y’all, this young man is truly worth celebrating. Abel is STRONG, hardworking[seriously, always on to the next task that needs to be finished], patient, kind[beyond describing], perceptive[always knows when you need a bit of encouragement or a good word], and smart[he’s my go-to man whenever I need something assembled😅]! He always has a joke or three up his sleeve when you need a good laugh and can carry on a fabulous conversation with anybody who comes his way. 🙌🏻 He’s quite gifted at the guitar too and it blesses me every time I hear him diligently practicing and playing.😍 He loves mini-donuts[🍩 I hear he’s eaten at least 2 dozen in one sitting😜], vigorous exercise💪🏼, and challenging himself to learn new things + accomplish new goals. He is also super photogenic. 😱 Phew… Abel is truly one in a million! Happy Birthday, Abel!! So thankful to the Lord for you and encouraged by your heart for HIM. May The Lord God continue to ABUNDANTLY bless you this next year and all those that follow as you diligently to seek and serve Him!🙋🏼‍♀️🎈“He is a rewarder of them that diligently seek Him.” Hope your birthday is absolutely FABULOUS!🎉 🎉🎉🎉

Thank you for 38 years of tireless and faithful service to your family!! THANK YOU for your daily, moment-by-moment sacrifice and love which points us to Christ[John 15:13] and encourages us onward and upward! This Sunday was a day my family will never forget! It was long-awaited and one of the happiest days of my life. ☺️🙏🏼❤️ I am so thankful for the salvation the Lord has given to both Rebekah and Emmaus!! Both openly confessed Christ as the Lord and Savior (For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved” Romans 10:13) and took the first step of obedience in baptism. “Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.” Romans 6:4. ✨ What a beautiful and humbling privilege to witness this Sunday! The sun was shining bright and a gentle warm breeze swept through East Texas. It truly was a perfectly glorious day!! Today I am rejoicing in the newness of life and the great gift of Salvation found in Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior and for answered prayer! “For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God” I am reminded of one of my favorite portions of scripture found in John 11 as it says, “Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in Me, though he were dead, yet shall he live: and whosoever liveth and believeth in Me shall never die. Believest thou this? She saith unto him, Yea, Lord: I believe that thou art the Christ, the Son of God, which should come into the world.” 🙏🏼♥️ There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved(Acts 4:12)!

Well now, we’ve found our way to my absolute FAVORITE day… Thursday! 🤗♥️ Why this day is my favorite, I have no idea but it is! And what better way to celebrate this day than to do one of my favorite things… Popping in here on the blog and say “hello!!” to you all.🙋🏼‍♀️ How have you been? Oh, how I have missed popping in for random hellos!! The days have been refreshingly “Springy” and I so enjoy the warm sunshine and sweet spring breeze.☺️🍃 So overwhelmed by God’s goodness in every single moment of every day! And His mercies? They are new every morning! Psalm 103:2 is a verse I have had on my heart, “Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all HIS benefits”. This makes my mind and heart quickly run over to Psalm 68:19 where the psalmist says, “Blessed be the Lord, who daily loadeth us with benefits, even the God of our salvation. Selah.” The Lord God loads our day with His BENEFITS!! He loads us with all spiritual blessings, abundance of grace, and mercies for each new day. Today I am rejoicing in this beautiful day He has made. A day loaded with benefits! 🙌🏻 So, seeing today is Thursday… my favorite day😉 and I was looking for a lovely excuse to hop on here and say “hello”, I do believe it’s a good day to share a few Favorite Random photos found here and there! Did this really just happen? Can it really be? 😍 We’ve found the winter days passed and in a blink, trees have revealed their beautiful blooms! Spring has arrived and how happy I am to see it in all its loveliness! 💐 A season filled to the brim with Golden sunsets, green grass, gorgeous wildflowers, and sweet evening walks which very much enjoyed here in east Texas. As the Word of God puts it so perfectly, “For, lo, the winter is past, the rain is over and gone; the flowers appear on the earth; the time of the singing of birds is come…” Song of Songs 2:11-12! Just as Spring brings new life, I am reminded of the New Life we have in Christ! “Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things have become new.” 2 Cor 5:17! So, dear Spring… would you stick around for a spell? So excited to see the beauty of the Lord displayed in every single Spring day! Happy Spring y’all!🙋🏼‍♀️
