Can you Juggle? | Texas Day 4 Randomness

Not sure what happened to day 2 & 3 but here are a few random pictures from day 4 in Texas :) Rainy and a little chilly but we are still enjoying ourselves!

We were given juggling lessons by a friend……… I am not sure if any of us have gotten the hang of it yet but perhaps soon?!??!

In the Land Where Cacti Grow Wild

Texas, it is somewhat of a “home away from home” for my family and it just so happens that I am in the large state where cacti grow wild as I type :) After much preparation, I hastily packed up my bags, jumped in the big white 15 passenger van with my crazy family, 25 suitcases, 15 blankets, 10 pillows, enough snacks to hold over an army, and random articles the children just couldn’t leave behind  and headed for Texas. Now I just need to find the perfect pair of cowboygirl boots and I will be set for a perfect vacation ;) ! 
Y’all, this is a wee bit of randomness from day 1 in Texas! Enjoy :)

Yes, I have given up coffee :(… but green tea is quite  a nice substitute! Starbucks stop 3 of many more during our trip.

No, my family does not put up a Christmas tree at Christmas but I really do love vintage Christmas ornaments!

Finally Friday and Mocha | Randomness

We have made it to yet another Friday and I AM THANKFUL! It is nothing short of a miraculous blessing from the Lord that  we  get out of bed each morning or make it through a day!   Each day your heart beats approximately 100,800 times, pumping blood to your estimated 60,000 miles of blood vessels. With each step that you take 200 muscles are used, and as I like to remind everyone it takes 17 muscles to smile and 43 to frown. So -unless you are trying to give your face a workout-  SMILE!

“I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made: marvellous are thy works; and that my soul knoweth right well.”

Oh yes, one last little funny fact about the human body: Relative to size, the strongest muscle in the body is the tongue… use it wisely!

I have always thought it would be fun to own a coffee shop… maybe one day?!? :) I drink my coffee very black but my younger sisters prefer a large amount of milk and sugar, so I am always able to try out new coffee drinks on them. Today I made my latte loving sister, Lydia a Mocha! First time I have every made a mocha!  My  recipe can be found here :)

Micah and Me 21ish years ago… now that makes me feel old! Nothing much has changed, with exception to the fact that Micah is no longer toothless and I, thank the Lord, am no longer bald!  ;)
