Well, the day is quickly coming to an end here but I have a question swirling through my mind and I thought “why not ask my sweet blogging friends?!” 🙌🏻🧡 Are you a note-taker, journal-keeper type?? In all honesty, I’m not! 😅 Yes, I do keep a daily verse notebook where I jot down my favorite verses for the day buuuuut when it comes to journaling, I tend to draw a blank as to what to write and where to even start! This brings me to my question of the evening:
Are you a journaler by nature? Or are you like me and slightly hyperventilate when a notebook or empty journal is set before you? 😂
What are your favorite daily journaling prompts/questions to answer when journaling?
What advice would you give one… (ahem, namely ME 😉) who is really not a journaler by nature but wants to QUICKLY jot down and keep track of daily happenings and all that the Lord is doing in every day life?
💁🏼♀️So my blogging friends, I have a fresh new leather notebook staring me in the face and the hope to have a better record of the days which have passed and all that the Lord has done and is doing. Any journalling tips/prompts/thoughts you have, leave them in the comment section below! I would absolutely LOVE to hear from you!!🙋🏼♀️

“Blessed is the man that trusteth in the Lord, and whose hope the Lord is. For he shall be as a tree planted by the waters, and that spreadeth out her roots by the river, and shall not see when heat cometh, but her leaf shall be green; and shall not be careful in the year of drought, neither shall cease from yielding fruit.” Jeremiah 17:7-8
“Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.” Proverbs 3:5-6
“Many, O LORD my God, are thy wonderful works which thou hast done, and thy thoughts which are to us-ward: they cannot be reckoned up in order unto thee: if I would declare and speak of them, they are more than can be numbered.” Psalm 40:5
When you have too many titles and can’t choose one…. 😅 You title your blog post “Too Many Titles”.😉 This, my friends, is a very random post! I first thought I would title this post “Knock, Knock.. anybody out there?” as I have been rather quiet here on the blog for quite some time. 🤔Then I thought “Well, Hello Fall!😍🍂” would be a fabulous title as we’ve officially entered the Autumn Season!! BUT then I remembered today is national coffee day and thought why not title this post “Happy Coffee Day!” 😝 Oh my. Life lately can only be summed up in “Too many titles”!😉 It’s so hard to believe it’s been a month since my last post! The Lord has kept my hands busy with a large 6-week work project that was just completed in His strength and by His grace! One of the first things on my mind to do once that project was finished was to sit down and say hello to you all! How have you been? I’ve missed popping in and hearing from you!! It is quite surreal to find myself here at the end of September. I look back over the past 9 months of 2021 and see the Lord’s grace and feel His strength wrapped up in every single day! God’s goodness never ceases to amazing me!! And here we are. ✨🍂 We’ve welcomed the glorious Autumn season. Golden leaves, crisp morning air, breathtaking autumn sunsets. Creation burst forth in magnificent beauty, displaying its brilliant colors as it declares its Maker’s praise! So, my friends, I’d love to hear from you in the comment section!! How have YOU been? “But unto the Son he saith, Thy throne, O God, is for ever and ever: a sceptre of righteousness is the sceptre of thy kingdom. Thou hast loved righteousness, and hated iniquity; therefore God, even thy God, hath anointed thee with the oil of gladness above thy fellows. And, Thou, Lord, in the beginning hast laid the foundation of the earth; and the heavens are the works of thine hands: They shall perish; but thou remainest; and they all shall wax old as doth a garment; And as a vesture shalt thou fold them up, and they shall be changed: but thou art the same, and thy years shall not fail.” Hebrews 1:8-12
“Thy testimonies have I taken as an heritage for ever: for they are the rejoicing of my heart… Thou art my HIDING PLACE and my SHIELD: I hope in thy word.” Psalm 119:111 &114
Well, Hello and Happy Monday!! 😍🙌🏻 Can you all believe it’s one of the final days of August? This month is flying by! Today, as I jump into a new week, I am reminded of the rich heritage we have in God’s Holy Word. I read this little snippet written over 300 years ago and loved its truth, “The Scriptures, which testify of Christ and of His grace, and of the mind and will of God, are a portion of themselves; and a goodly heritage they are, better than thousands of gold and silver, preferable to all worldly inheritances; as they have been to many, who have forsaken all for Christ and his Gospel.” Better than thousands of gold and silver! 😊 YES!! LOVE THAT.♥️ God’s Word is like a treasure chest, full of the finest riches, just waiting for you to dig in and discover the beauty it holds! I often call verses that encourage my day “golden nuggets” 😉 as His Word is just that. Pure Gold! I love how Psalm 12:6 puts it as it says, “The words of the LORD are PURE WORDS: as silver tried in a furnace of earth, purified seven times.” SOOOOO, today I would love to hear what golden nuggets you’ve been digging up in God’s word! ☺️ Please make my day by taking a moment and leave a verse or portion of scripture that’s been encouraging you in the comment box below!! 👇🏼 Ready, Set, Go… can’t wait to hear from YOU! 🙋🏼♀️
“The statutes of the LORD are right, rejoicing the heart: the commandment of the LORD is pure, enlightening the eyes.” Psalm 19:8

I can’t imagine life without her!!✨ Rebekah has been gifted with the spirit of encouragement, a great eye for fashion, and the ability to whip up a double batch of chocolate chip cookies in a heartbeat!😍 As fashionable as this gal is, she’s not afraid to put her farm clothes on and do dirty work. Oh the stories I could tell you about this brave lady helping with lambing season, faithfully working to the end even when the end isn’t so pretty! When not workin’ hard, she can be found writing her penpals, knitting, creating beautiful bracelets for friends and family, and making her sisters sweet treats whenever they want them! 😆💝 This past year has held a lot of unexpected for Rebekah but, in the strength of the Lord, she’s come through victorious and it’s been inspirational to see. Needless to say, when I grow up I want to be just like her! 😉 Happy 13th birthday Bekah!! I pray this year and all that follow overflow with the richest of blessings + benefits as you continue to seek and serve our Lord and Savior. Here we are, another Thursday has found its way into our week and I thought to myself, why not have a Thankful Thursday?! it was just the excuse I needed as I have so wanted to jump on and say “hello” to you all! 😍🤗 I’ve had Psalm 34:8 going through my mind today as it says, “O taste and see that the Lord is good: BLESSED is the man that trusteth in Him.” I have both tasted and seen the goodness of the Lord!! The blessings He pours on those who fear Him are present in every single moment of every day! His goodness has left me wanting no good thing. I love how the following verse promises, “there is NO WANT to them that fear Him”!! The Lord God alone satisfies the longing soul and the hungry soul He fills with good things(Ps 107:9). My friends, He is trustworthy. May you TASTE & SEE His goodness in every single way today!! And now, for my Thankful Thursday top 5 Thanksgivings:
I am thankful for taste! 😉 Yes, I am thankful for the physical tastebuds I’ve been given that allow me to taste delicious food BUT today I am reffering to the spiritual tastebuds that have allowed me to taste the goodness of the Lord. “now that you have tasted that the Lord is good.” 1Peter 2:3 🙌🏻
I am thankful for my family! Phew, can’t imagine where I would be withouth them. The daily encouragement, exhortation, love, and accoutibilty they give is priceless! As I consider the blessing of being a part of a family, I am reminded of Colossians 3 as it say, “Put on therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, bowels of mercies, kindness, humbleness of mind, meekness, longsuffering; Forbearing one another, and forgiving one another, if any man have a quarrel against any: even as Christ forgave you, so also do ye. And above all these things put on charity, which is the bond of perfectness.”
I am thankful that we have been given ALL THINGS that pertian to life and godliness! What a promise. ♥️ “Grace and peace be multiplied unto you through the knowledge of God, and of Jesus our Lord, According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue” 2 Peter 1:2-3
I am thankful that our confidence is in The Lord alone! Psalm 65:5 says, “… O God of our salvation; who art the confidence of all the ends of the earth..” and in Proverbs 3:26 we are told “For the LORD shall be thy confidence, and shall keep thy foot from being taken.”
I am thankful for Snail Mail and the sweet encourgement that finds its way to my post office box and the ability to send them off! What a blessing postal surprises are. 💝💌 “Wherefore comfort yourselves together, and edify one another, even as also ye do.” 1 Thes 5:11
NOW it’s your turn!! Leave 5 (or more!) thanksgivings in the comment box below. They can be completely random or very specific. It’s up to YOU! In EVERYTHING give thanks.🤗🧡 I can’t wait to hear what you’re thanking the Lord for today! 🙋🏼♀️

May I have your attention please… 🎤 * taps on microphone * Today, we celebrate a very special day…🙊 today is THE Shepherdess’s BIRTHDAY!!! 🎉🎉🎉 Okay, for those who have no idea who The Shepherdess is, let me rewind and do some explaining. Today is GRACE’S birthday!! 🥳 Over this past year, she’s done some changin’ folks. Crazy as it may sound, this fashionista-sister of mine traded in her diamond-studded sandals and city wardrobe for a pair of rubber boots, utility vest, and an orange visor.😯 “When did this happen” you ask? It all happened the day she fell in love with pasture management, rotational grazing, and high voltage electric fencing😉🙊 taking on the role as shepherdess to her gorgeous and growing Dorper Sheep flock! Yes, crazy things are happening y’all.😂 Phew, that would explain her new title! 💁🏼♀️Kinda like Little Bo Peep but(Thankfully) she doesn’t usually lose her sheep! 😜😅 Okay, can we move forward? Time to learn a little more about this beautiful birthday lady!! 🙌🏻 Grace is known for her hyper-entrepreneurial business-savvy spirit! She takes on any task[even the dirtiest of jobs] with scholarly enthusiasm as she sees it through to the finish. She’s a list-maker, goal-setter, go-getter who is always committing her way to the Lord.♥️ Grace is faithful, gracious, witty, and super encouraging. She also happens to be well diversified in her skill-sets! She’s a professional shoemaker, pasture manager, grazier, online marketer, farming influencer, videographer, and slider maker.😉 Y’all, in the strength of the Lord and His grace, she does it all, and today I am so excited to get to celebrate her ALL DAY LONG!🎉 Happy Birthday, Grace! I am soooooo thankful for your daily encouragement and faithful sisterhood. May this next year is THE BEST YET!! 💆🏼♀️ My prayer for you is Psalm 20:4, “May He grant you according to your heart’s desire, And fulfill all your purpose.” Keep your eyes set on the prize and the sheep out of the garden. 😉 Psst… y’all know the rules! “Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge HIM, and HE shall direct thy paths.” Proverbs 3:5-6
“We will rejoice in your salvation, And in the name of our God we will set up our banners! May the Lord fulfill all your petitions.” Psalm 20:5
Yes, I must admit… I love themes! Taco Tuesday😜🌮, Random Question Wednesday, Friday Favorites, and today I felt like I just needed to do a Thankful Thursday. Why? Because seriously and honestly, I don’t take the time I should to slow down, count my blessings, and give thanks to the Lord! Thanksgiving should be our constant daily theme as believers… not just something we think about during the month of November!🙊 I don’t know about you but I want a constant ATTITUDE OF GRATITUDE, not just a seasonal theme centered around turkey and pumpkin pie! 💆🏼♀️ 😉
What is an attitude of gratitude?
It’s making a continual heartfelt habit to express thankfulness and appreciation to the Lord for EVERYTHING, both the big and small alike!
In Psalm 34 the Psalmist says, “I will bless the LORD at all times; HIS praise shall CONTINUALLY be in my mouth. My soul makes its boast in the LORD; let the humble hear and be glad.” It is a beautiful thing to know your verbal thanksgiving to the Lord can refresh and make glad the hearts of other believers! I love how 1 Thessalonians 5 reveals to us the will of the Lord as it says, “In EVERYTHING give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.” And you want to know the beautiful truth? As redeemed of the Lord, we can truly give thanks for all things… even the hard situations, challenges, and disappointments we face as we are promised in Romans 8 that all things work together for our good! “And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.” Romans 8:28
So, since today is my favorite day, Thursday, and 5 is a favorite number 😋(Yes, I know I am random and quirky😉) today I’m sharing 5 Thanksgiving with you all and I would love to have you joinTHURSDAY THANKSGIVINGS by sharing 5 (OR MORE)things you are thankful to the Lord for in the comments below! Let’s have a continual attitude of gratitude!! 🙌🏻 Ready, set, go:
Today I am thankful…
Thankful that, as children of the Lord God, we have been Blessed with EVERY spiritual blessing through Christ Jesus our Lord! “Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ”Ephesians 1:3
Thankful that we have redemption through His blood!! “In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of His grace” Ephesians 1:7
That I am sealed with the Holy Spirit of promise! “In Him you also trusted, after you heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation; in whom also, having believed, you were sealed with the Holy Spirit of promise, who is the guarantee of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, to the praise of His glory.” Ephesians 1:13-14
Thankful for work!! I was talking with a sweet friend over the weekend and we were both talking over the blessings of work and how serving Christ in all we do is our ultimate source of motivation! Good hard work done for the Lord is a gift for which I am so thankful. “And whatsoever ye do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God and the Father by Him.” Colossians 3:17
Thankful for YOU! My sweet friends!! I am praying for each of you as I push publish. My prayer for you is “May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that by the power of the Holy Spirit you may abound in hope.” May you abound in HOPE!!!
NOW it’s your turn!! Leave 5 (or more!) thanksgivings in the comment box below. They can be completely random or very specific. It’s up to YOU! In EVERYTHING give thanks.🤗🧡 I can’t wait to hear what you’re thanking the Lord for today! 🙋🏼♀️
“And in that day shall ye say, Praise the Lord, call upon HIS name, declare HIS doings among the people, make mention that HIS name is exalted. Sing unto the Lord; for HE hath done excellent things: this is known in all the earth.”
Well, the title says all! 🙊 Today is the day I get to dedicate my blog to the world’s best Dad! Nope, it’s not Father’s Day 😉… Today just so happens to be my Dad’s Birthday!!🎈🥳🙌🏻 Oh my, where do I begin? My Dad has been blessed with a fabulous sense of humor, wisdom, discernment, and unmatched energy which fills my family’s days with so much laughter, guidance, and enthusiasm. Dad is a Get-It-Done type and works tirelessly and diligently at any task the Lord brings his way! He is also a wonderful encourager and extremely patient listener, always pointing us back to the Lord. For both his listening and encouraging, I have been more grateful this past year than ever before! Words cannot even begin to express how blessed I am to have him as my Dad and the years of life the Lord has given him! 💛 Happy Birthday, Dad. 🙋🏼♀️ I am so thankful for you!! 💝 I am praying this next year is the best yet with many many many more to come!! 🎉 Y’all, would you take a moment to wish my Dad a very blessed and best birthday in the comment box below?👇🏻 Thank you!
“Blessed is every one that feareth the Lord; that walketh in his ways. For thou shalt eat the labour of thine hands: happy shalt thou be, and it shall be well with thee.“ Psalm 128:1-2
“The Lord is thy keeper: the Lord is thy shade upon thy right hand. The sun shall not smite thee by day, nor the moon by night. The Lord shall preserve thee from all evil: he shall preserve thy soul. The Lord shall preserve thy going out and thy coming in from this time forth, and even for evermore.” Psalm 121:5-8
Ladies and gentlemen… I have been waiting for this day WAY tooooo long!!!! I am excited to announce that today we celebrated a very special day.🎉👀 Today is Joel’s Birthday!!!!! 🥳 WOW… where do I even begin? Joel is know for being a faithful friend, ambitious, hardworking, athletic, generous, and compassionate! He is willingly jump into any job that needs doing(even if he has no idea how to do it at the start😆) and always ends up being the best man for the job(those who know what I am talking about… know what I am talking about!😛)! Joel has been blessed with a fabulous sense of humor and isn’t afraid of being laughed at for the sake of other’s enjoyment! He can fill a quiet room with laughter in just under 2 minutes.😆 When not running half marathons or doing random acts of kindness to bless a soul in need, Joel’s time is spent working tirelessly at the business he began 8+ years ago and he is known for his honesty and integrity in all his business dealing. What else can I say… he’s truly one in a million and today is HIS BIRTHDAY!! Happy Birthday, JOEL!!!!! Your kindness, patiences, and genuine care bless me daily I am so thankful to the Lord for YOU. “The steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord: and he delighteth in his way. Though he fall, he shall not be utterly cast down: for the Lord upholdeth him with his hand.” Psalm 37:23-24
🙋🏼♀️Y’all know the rules!! Help us celebrate by leaving this guy a birthday note in the comment box below!!
“Seek the LORD and His strength, seek His face continually. Remember his marvellous works that He hath done, His wonders, and the judgments of His mouth” 1 Chronicles 16:11
“But I will hope continually, and will yet praise Thee more and more. My mouth shall shew forth Thy righteousness and Thy salvation all the day; for I know not the numbers thereof.” Psalm 71:14-15
Well, as a birthday has come and gone, I find myself in a brand new year filled with fresh opportunities, new mercies, and sufficient grace!! 😍🙌🏻 Another year has passed in the strength of the Lord and it was a great year. A year filled with His innumerable blessings & benefits[Ps 40:5] and His perfect gentle refining & sanctifying[1 Peter 1:7]! I’m so thankful for both the challenges and the “easy days” as they have been used by the Lord to draw me nearer to Him.🙏🏼 As I reflected on the days which have passed and excitedly look forward to the days God gives me into the future, I am reminded of the Steadfast Hope we have in Christ Jesus our Lord! I love how Hebrews 6:19 puts it as it says, “This hope we have as an anchor of the soul, both SURE and STEADFAST”! This hope we have. ☺️ In Romans 15:13 we are told that He is the “God of ALL HOPE” and we are promised in Romans 5:1-5 that “Hope does not disappoint”!! 🙌🏻 As I have entered a new year, my goal for today and beyond is to HOPE CONTINUALLY IN THE LORD and praise HIM yet more and more. Lamentations 3:24 so beautifully says, “The Lord is my PORTION, saith my soul; Therefore I WILL HOPE IN HIM!” My sincere prayer is “Let my soul look up with a STEADFAST HOPE and my will be lost in Thine”… for the will of God is “good and acceptable and perfect”[Rom 12:2] and that my friends is a promise!☺️❤️ Come what may, as our hope our trust our confidence is steadfastly set on The Lord God and His salvation, we are promised we will not be disappointed[Romans 5:5]! We will be like a tree planted by the river of water, we “will not fear when heat comes” neither “be anxious in the year of drought”, and we will never “cease from yielding fruit.”[Jer 17:7-8]! My hearty reply is “And now, Lord, what do I wait for? My hope is in You!”[Ps 39:7]. The Lord God is my confidence[Prov 3:26] and my HOPE… in Him do I trust[Ps 125:1-2]! 🤗 So, will you join me for the adventures that are in store in the days ahead as the Lord faithfully guides me each and every step of the way? I look forward to sharing them right here on the blog!🙋🏼♀️👩🏼💻
I want to take a moment to give a huge and heartfelt “THANK YOU”! I can’t begin to describe how blessed, encouraged, and extremely humbled I am by every single Birthday comment and note sent my way! God is so gracious to give me such encouraging blogging friends.🙏🏼🙌🏻 To my family who daily goes above and beyond to shower me with love and kindness, you made my birthday super sweet and extra-special with good memories, delicious food, and nautical-themed fun(y’all, I cannot lie, I love the ocean and my family knows it!!) It truly was THE BEST birthday yet.😍 I thank the Lord for you all!! 💝
“Blessed be the Lord, who daily loadeth us with benefits, even the God of our salvation. Selah.” Psalm 68:19
“This I recall to my mind, therefore have I hope. It is of the Lord’s mercies that we are not consumed, because His compassions fail not. They are new every morning: great is Thy faithfulness. The Lord is my portion, saith my soul; therefore will I hope in Him. The Lord is good unto them that wait for Him, to the soul that seeketh Him. It is good that a man should both hope and quietly wait for the salvation of the Lord.” Lamentations 3:21-26
Alright, so I’m not sure sure if Rachel wanted me to skip this post because she’s modest… or because she’s scared to let me (Grace) take over for the day…. but either way she didn’t win!!!!
You guys know they day… JULY 16th!!!! National Corn Fritter Day and, of course….
🎉🎉🎉🎉RACHEL’S BIRTHDAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!🎉🎉🎉🎉
I hardly need to go on: each one of you are here because Rachel has done something special to encourage you. Whether it’s one of the hundreds (thousands, maybe??) of inspirational cards she has sent, or an encouraging text just when you needs it, or a surprise package full of all your favorite things… or (if you are like me) your favorite cupcakes on a night your really need them… RACHEL HAS BEEN THERE FOR YOU!!!! (and I didn’t even get to spring 100 or all of the million things she does for our house: like dishes until midnight or filling in for you on Saturday chores when you are overloaded with other things).
She packs more into one day than most can pack into a 20 days. I’m still trying to figure out her formula for productivity, because I think I could make a few million off of it. It’s scary and incredible all at once!
To be honest, as her sister I know that not every day has been easy for her. But God’s grace has enabled er to keep looking to Him for the strength to press toward the mark for that high calling in Christ Jesus.
So, guys, do not leave without leaving a comment!!! Please tell Rachel happy birthday, and whatever else you want to tell her… just don’t click away until you do!
Happy Birthday, Rachel! We are grateful for you and all you do!
“The steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord: and he delighteth in his way. Though he fall, he shall not be utterly cast down: for the Lord upholdeth him with his hand.”
Y’all! Here we are knee-deep into summer and I’ve yet to do a Summer Themed Random Question Wednesday! 🙊😱 My favorite season is here.🌞🙌🏻 A verse I’ve had on my mind these past few days is quite fitting for the season as it says, “And the LORD shall guide thee continually, and satisfy thy soul in drought, and make fat thy bones: and thou shalt be like a watered garden, and like a spring of water, whose waters fail not.” Isaiah 58:11! Like a well-watered garden. Mm! I don’t know about y’all, but I want to be like a well-watered garden and a endless spring of water refreshing weary souls in the midst of a drought. I love the picture painted in John 7:38, “Whoever believes in Me, as the Scripture has said, ‘Out of his heart will flow rivers of living water.’”As I think on these verses I am reminded of the Source of that living water, “Behold, God is my salvation; I will trust, and not be afraid: for the Lord Jehovah is my strength and my song; he also is become my salvation. Therefore with joy shall ye draw water out of the wells of salvation.”Isaiah 12:2-3! God is our Salvation and offers LIVING WATER to all those who call upon Him[John 4:10-14]! Well, Texas Heat has kicked in, the Crepe myrtles are beautifully bloomed to perfection, and the evening sunsets are absolutely exquisite!!😍🧡 How I do love these summer months AND today… I find myself with a bundle of fun Summer Themed Prints I’ve been collecting from here and there + a few fun random questions for your day!
