5 Random facts that everyone should know about my mom ;) :

1.)Bakes the best double crust apple pie! No offense to anyone who makes a delicious apple pie…. I just prefer my Mom’s!! ;)
2.) She could be an interior designer if she had the time(<seriously! :)
3.) Cheers you up when you are a wee bit down. :)
4.) Can teach over 7 grade levels at once…. without losing her sanity!  That is an accomplishment :)
5.) is the BEST mother I have ever had ;)

Sunday Randomness…

After our morning worship, my family loaded up in the big white van and headed down the highway for a Sunday afternoon drive. It was tons of fun and a blessing to rest a little after a long week of work! I saw persimmons for the first time ever and we tried out a local coffee shop. The barista (or would it be a “barister” since the coffee maker was male?!? ;) made a pretty delicious pumpkin spice latte! (:

Today She Turned 11! | Happy Birthday Ruth

TODAY is Ruth’s Birthday!!

Ruth is an artist and draws the cutest pictures, she can arrange the most gorgeous bouquet of wildflowers, and she LOVES cats!!! It just so happens that she is the happy new owner of Prince John (P.J. for short), the little black cat.:) She most likely will grow up to live in the country with a few dozen cats by her side(hopefully outdoors or she might have a hard time getting me to come and visit ;) and maybe a horse or two. We shall see!

Look Who’s 1! | Happy Happy Birthday

The little girl who brings a smile to everyone’s face with her extreme cuteness and super quirky personality turns 1 year-old today! Yep, that’s right, my baby sister, Emmaus turned 1 this morning. :) Can’t even believe a year has flown by sooooo fast!

Emmi’s favorite activities are eating, practicing walking, playing with the dogs, singing, and playing her harmonica( and eating her own piece of birthday cake. ;)

Another Fall Line Complete | God’s Goodness

Garlands of Grace, a site I don’t highlight as much as other but has been such a blessing. My sister, who also creates cuteness for little ones, started Garlands of Grace 7 years ago and has been creating gorgeous items for ladies ever since!

And it was an absolute miracle we were able to pull off this years Fall/Winter line.  From the way things were going and the extreme lack of time, we said there is NO way to get her Fall line debuted by the promised day. With only 4 days until the expected release date, Micah hadn’t finished design work, we still hadn’t pictured any of her products, along with many unmentioned set backs from a BIG month that had us worn-out, and rain was in the forecast everyday for the next 4 days which makes picturing near impossible!! Much prayer, a few 15 hour work days, and by the grace of God, here we are. Her Fall line was launched and it seems to be one of Garlands of Grace’s best seasons ever! I love how God demonstrates His power to make what seems to be impossible very possible. :) Praising the Lord!

Just Because | Bekah

I usually walk a couple miles before my family’s morning bible study. It just so happens this morning my sister Bekah wanted to come along and I had my camera! Though we went at a snail’s pace, it was fun to have this crazy girl at my side. :)

Happy Fall Y’all!! :)

Y’all, its FALL!!!! Finally my favorite season has come and I am super excited! :) Pumpkin muffins, pumpkin pies, piping hot coffee, majestically crunchy leaves arrayed in a variety of gorgeous colors, sweaters, scarves, brisk morning walks, and baking are just a few things that make fall a bundle of happiness ! =)

Consider the Lilies | Summertime

Instead of a bundle of dandelions spreading themselves across our yard as usual, this year we had surprise lilies! Yes, it is quite a pleasant surprise :)
