It has been 10 days without a post so I thought it was about time to drop by and say, “HI!” :)My days have been filled with little blessings… Simple but sweet blessings! Little sisters playing the piano(I believe she will be a piano prodigy ;), cappuccino made by the best Barista you will find(thanks Lydia), checkers with a brother(he won :), fall leaves, exploring a fantastic forts made by very creative kids, and the word of God! I am thankful!

Happy Birthday To My Sister…

Today my beautiful sister Micah celebrates her 26th birthday! :) I couldn’t help but take a very quick break from our day to say, HAPPY BIRTHDAY!! :)

Micah, maker of magnificent muffins, skilled seamstress, phenomenal designer, and the best big sister ever. :) I am so blessed to have you as my sister!!

And…. she let me take her pictures this morning only after promising to post a few group shots! It is not easy fitting 4 into the frame!! ;)

Happy Birthday to….

GIDEON!!Don’t let His looks intimidate you. Underneath this rugged, 6 foot, 100 some-odd pound hunk of muscle lies a lovable, hugable teddy bear. ;) And he is 15 years-old today!!

Gideon’s favorite past times include editing Wikipedia articles(don’t believe everything you read on Wikipedia ;), consuming Reuben loaf sandwiches, refurbishing guns, and brushing up on his history. As far as his future is concerned… well, we will just have to wait and see. I reckon he build himself a house, find a little lady who can cook good vittles, and settle down deep in the woods somewhere. But until then he will have to settle on finishing high-school and getting a full time job! ;)

I am thankful | Saturnday Randomness

Here we are at another Saturday Sunday(just now notice the clock!) I am sitting here putting the finishing touches a bundle of images I photographed today for a “mini winter release” and was reminded Thanksgiving is less than 2 weeks away! This year has flown by and so much has happened. I am thankful! :)

This week, among many things, I am thankful for God’s word,  pretty parcels for ME in the mail box, hot cocoa with home-made marshmallows, pizza night, cute sisters and handsome brothers, hard work, and photoshop batch editing! :)

“Like” | rather random really

So, when I left Facebook last year I knew the one thing I would absolutely miss(other than the super nice people) was the “like” button. Sooooo easy to push and when somebody left you a comment that just absolutely made your day, you could push “like” and this little thumbs-up would appear on their comment!!! When I came to wordpress there was the “like” this post button, which is fantastic, but what about comments!!?? I want to like comments too! Drum-roll please….

I now have a like button! ;) So, if you leave me a comment and I like it, you will receive a “like”! ;) Voilà! “Like withdraw” cured and now the world is a better place! ;)

For the record, I am only 98.2% crazy and this post is 84.8% for smiles but y’all  will still get a like for a comment! ;)

Another Saturday | Randomness

If you are reading this than, by the grace of God, you have made it to another Saturday and through another week! Depending on who you are, your heart has beat around 604,000 times, pumping 2,000 gallons of blood per day to about 60,000 miles of branching blood vessels. If you ask me that is nothing short of a miracle and definitely something to praise the Lord for!! :)

I am thankful for the little blessings throughout the week that bring a smile to my face! (: snacks that smile back, fall flowers, irresistibly cute little sisters, free earbuds, hedge apples the size of my feet, chipotle with mom and sisters, ice cream cones, organic chocolate milk, my sister’s muffins(Pumpkin Muffins with a delicious glaze! :), and smiling cowboys :)
