Faithful God || A whole lotta randomness ;)

“Know therefore that the LORD your God, He is God, the faithful God, who keeps His covenant and His lovingkindness to a thousandth generation with those who love Him and keep His commandments”
Deuteronomy 7:9

“THE Faithful GOD”! It is SO true. He is faithful! Every promise He has kept[and will keep!]{Titus 2:1}, He has met our EVERY need[and will continue to]{Phil 4:19}, and His lovingkindness reaches to the thousandth generation with those who love Him{Deut 7:9}!! We often overlook those little{which really aren’t that little} things in a day’s time and forget how tremendously faithful He is in the “everyday” and how exceedingly blessed we are in the “every-moment”. :)  It is nothing short of a miraculous blessing from the Lord that we get out of bed each morning or make it through each day He has ordained for us, each day your heart beats -by His grace alone- approximately 100,800 times, and every breath breathed is a tremendous gift from Him! We serve a faithful God whose faithfulness is truly and abundantly new every morning{Lam 3:23}! Today I am giving thanks that I serve a faithful God whose grace is sufficient for every moment of every day! What are you thankful for? :)

“ But none of these things move me, neither count I my life dear unto myself, so that I might finish my course with joy, and the ministry, which I have received of the Lord Jesus, to testify the gospel of the grace of God.”

Well, it has been quite a week here as my days have been packed with photographing new products, lots of hours working on lightroom, plus the regular randomness that occurs in a day! :) And just when I started photographing, clouds and rain moved in[it never rains and clouds are always sparse in Texas… !] With the clouds came poor lighting which posed a challenge but after a very unconventional yet ingenious suggestion from my Dad I found that “happy lighting” spot and photographing commenced. ;) A few more days left and I should finish-up this round of photos, Lord willing! In the midst of the busy, God has been so good and continues to show me His faithfulness as my strength is small but His is GREAT. I am weak but in my weakness He reveals His strength more and more to me! :) And to make a busy week a bit sweeter just add cold stone, pizza night, and simply stunning sunsets, right!?! ;) Randomness from my week via the iphone and a few from the camera. Dear Mom!! :D
From my somewhat sketchy calculations you have changed somewhere around 49,348 diapers, fixed 32,850 meals, run approximately 58,000 loads of laundry, and cleaned more messes than you probably want to remember! ;) You have patiently allowed your ankles to swell for months on end and endured many hours of labored knowing the outcome was completely worth it. And as if that wasn’t enough, you even more patiently went through the routine of nightly feedings and teething and the terrible twos over a dozen times[with exception to me of course, I never went through the terrible twos…. or so you say. :| ;]! You have successfully taught 11 of your children to read and proven time and again that algebra is so much more than just x+y. ;) Though many have dubbed you “wonder woman”, I would have to disagree because of the simple fact that wonder woman doesn’t even come close to you! ;) So, to a mother who is beyond describing, we love you!!!! Thankful the Lord gave me you for my mother and blessed by the tremendous example you have been. We are forever grateful for all the sacrifices you have made for us! “Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.“

Mercies anew || random :)

Wow, what more can I say?!!!!!!! “I will sing unto the LORD, because he has dealt bountifully with me.” Ps 13:6! If your ever feeling a little low or down, read Lamentations 3 a few times. :) What awesome splendor is in these 4 verses!! His mercies are new [.EVERY.] morning{even in the midst of storms/trials}, HE is faithful, and He is good to those who seek HIM!  “The Lord is my portion, saith my soul” “I will sing unto the LORD as long as I live: I will sing praise to my God while I have my being.“PS 104:33! :) Praising the Lord & rejoicing today in His Word and the beauty it contains! So busy with odds n’ ends plus an extremely unkind cold has found its way into our house but we are so blessed and I have many images piling up on my computer that need to be edited and exported… soon! ;] But for now how about a wee bit of randomness for this Wednesday?! :] Happy Wednesday y’all!

The snack that smiles back ;) || Day Trip Randomness

A sunny warm Texas day, my parents planned a day trip, the kiddos woke-up with extreme anticipation and excitement, my sisters and I took off work, bible study was early, and after a chore-check we all loaded up in the big white van and were off! Last week’s day trip took us through the winding hill country of Texas, past the tiny town of Albert[population 25 :] to a small German town with a wonderful little Bakery, antique shops, and a Crawfish Festival! An unforgettable experience as most of us tasted crawfish for the first time… it was too much fun to see the kid’s reactions to it! Lets just say the bakery was enjoyed a bit more than the crawfish. ;] I have classified it “the snack that smiles back” for very obvious reasons and completely much agree with Nathanael{see picture below}! ;) Random pictures from an extremely fun blessed day! Ode to Joel with ♥ ;)

To my brother Joel,

If I could I would write you a poem but poetic eloquence completely fails me, I would compose a song for you but honestly I’m running short on musical grace at the moment! ;) No, it’s not your birthday nor is it “14 year-old brother appreciation day”. ;] You see, it has been some time since I blogged appreciation for a little not-so-little younger brother{see this post for reference;)}, but when you have a super handsome brother{in my case, 4  handsome brothers} who has this keen sense of knowing just when you need want a pack of those little fruit gummy snacks{which are my FAVORITE}, or when Grace needs reeses, or Micah needs a KING size twix and he tells you he just bought you a “little snack”{King size doesn’t = “little snack” ;b}. Who learns how to use the espresso machine and suffers through 3rd degree burns during the learning process just so he can make you a latte, or patiently poses in the cold wet fog while you take his picture, or watches your back in dark alleys and reminds you not to open the car door for strangers before he exits to run YOUR letters into the post office ’cause he’s just that chivalrous. Well, you got to blog about him!! :D To my brother who has learned that the best way to a woman’s heart is through her stomach, WE ♥ YOU! [; You are very much appreciated. Daily overly blessed by my brothers!

Indeed, there is no other Rock! :) He is our firm foundation{2 Tim 2:9}, our Rock, our Shield{Ps 28:7}, our Fortress{Ps 18:2}, our Anchor{Heb 6:19}, our Righteousness, our Salvation, our Sanctification, our Redemption{1 Cor 1:30}, our Peace{Eph 2:14}. Wow, praise the Lord! :] My verse of the week has been Isiah 43:11, “I, even I, am the LORD; and beside me there is no saviour.” Do not set your sight on man, neither build your foundation on man made doctrine or philosophy or vain plans{they will perish}, do not trust in princes or rulers or leaders for they will not save{Ps 146}, and do not trust in yourself or your own righteousness{Titus 3:5}!  He is our Savior and there is no other. “Trust ye in the LORD for ever: for in the LORD JEHOVAH is everlasting strength“{Is 26:4}, “Happy is he that hath the God of Jacob for his help, whose hope is in the Lord his God“!  :)

Well, this post has been in the works since early this afternoon but as the day went on the laptop had to be shut and reopened a dozen or so times. :) So I am hoping I can click “post” before Thursday is gone and Friday has shown itself! ;) This has been such a blessed week, nothing “grand” or “unusual” in the world’s definition happened but so many lessons taught me by the Lord. Busy & at times challenging but so tremendously blessed! Each second of the day He proves himself Faithful and His Word true! Lots of work, lovely spring evening walks, freshly picked bouquets, delicious coffee, grocery shopping, Texas snow::hail{in April?!}, product photography, and so much more has filled my time lately. And all captured via the iphone! ;) So, this is my weekly iphone round-up for y’all. ‘Cause sometimes life happens too fast to grab my big camera and my phone is always handy! Enjoy y’all and have a fantastic Friday! :)

servant of righteousness || rejoicing in Romans 6

4.13.14.2 I have a random post coming, a million pictures to catch-up on, and even a recipe to blog but tonight I am rejoicing in Romans 6. :) My heart swelled with gratitude this afternoon as I read Romans 6 again…. No longer a slave to sin but a slave to righteousness!! {Phil 3:9}  Thanks be to God, He paid the ultimate price, died a painful death to set me{chief sinner} free from sin & hell and made me His bond servant forever! Nothing I have done or can ever do will deserve this title. It is by His grace alone! “For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.”

“Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with Him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin. For he that is dead is freed from sin. Now if we be dead with Christ, we believe that we shall also live with Him: Knowing that Christ being raised from the dead dieth no more; death hath no more dominion over Him. For in that He died, He died unto sin once: but in that He liveth, He liveth unto God.
