Thank you, Anna, for having me over and the fun morning spent sipping coffee, eating homemade cupcakes + cookies, and good conversation with your family! This week I chose to stick with the Autumn theme and am sharing a few favorite Autumn prints and graphics. 🍂 I do hope this week has been filled to overflowing with God’s goodness wherever you may find yourself! I was reminded this morning of Titus 2 where it tells us that the grace of God has appeared to ALL MEN. That is an amazing truth, isn’t it?! “For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men, Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world; Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ; Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works.” Titus 2:11-14. So glad to have you stop by! 😁 Breathtaking sights of burnt orange, deep garnet, and glorious gold speckle the trees and glisten in the wind! 😍 With each season The Lord God’s creation continually declares His praise and Autumn, with its Sunkissed leaves and crisp mornings, is no exception. Well now!! It’s been a busy and seemly long-short week for me!! And here we are at Random Question Wednesday.😃🙌🏻 For any new blog readers, the rules are super simple! My random photos consist of thanksgivings to the Lord! As I count my blessings I’m thankful to the Lord for a sweet friend who thoughtfully sent me a delicious bag of coffee, for a BIG work project finished today by His grace😍🙏🏼, for answered prayer, and for dried fall leaves which work perfectly for photography props…. I live in Texas, y’all! ;) You have to order in your autumn colors! 😋 The Lord God is good. His grace is sufficient and His mercies are new every single morning. I can daily testify to this truth! 🙌🏻 “I will sing of the mercies of the Lord for ever: with my mouth will I make known thy faithfulness to all generations.” Ps 89:1

Random Question Wednesday!

Y’all, it’s random question Wednesday! 🙌🏻 I enjoyed all the fun answers received last week and the ability to get to know some of you a little better. THANK YOU! So how about another round of fun and very random questions?? 😁 You can refer back to last week’s Random Question Post for the full instructions but they are super simple. 🙌🏻 Let me know a little more about yourself by answering the super random questions and “would you rather” question below and feel free to throw a random question or two back my way! As I type out this post I also have a random verse going through my mind. The verse is Galatians 2:16, “Knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law, but by the faith of Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Jesus Christ, that we might be justified by the faith of Christ, and not by the works of the law: for by the works of the law shall no flesh be justified.” That is GOOD NEWS, isn’t it?! “For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God sending His own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh: That the righteousness of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.” Romans 8:3-4. 🎉🎉 HipHipHoooray… today’s a VERY special day! 🎉🎉 This post would have been published at 12 am sharp but Hurricane Laura sent her rain our way and postponed a Birthday Photoshoot until today. Yep, you read that right, we have a birthday to celebrate!!! Today we celebrate Rebekah and her 12 years of life! 🥳 Let me tell y’all something, this gorgeous lady adds a HUGE dose of sparkle to our lives and I can’t imagine a happier day to observe than her Birthday.✨ Rebekah is our in-house fashion advisor, encourager, and chocolate chip cookie baker[y’all, she can whip up a triple batch of her famous cookies in a heartbeat!😍] Among many of her growing hobbies + daily tasks, Bekah enjoys reading, knitting, keeping in touch with sweet pen-pal friends, helping with the farmyard needs, trying out new pinterest hairstyles on Emmi😉, swimming, and almost any outdoor activity! She’s also been one of my main and very patient photography subjects over the year[what can I say, the camera loves her! 😘] This gal has blessed me over and over again with her kindness, encouragement, and sisterhood and today I am beyond thrilled to be celebrating her!! Happy Birthday, Rebekah🥳. I thank the Lord for YOU!! Favorite things…✨😍

💁🏼‍♀️Fridays are for… blogging a few favorite things! 🙌🏻 From old rustic barns to gorgeous cakes, pretty flowers, happy mail, “home happiness”, cute quilts, and pretty prints. 😍 This is what I would call an “Eyecandy” overload! 😉 I was thinking this morning about how good the Lord is to give us lovely views, vivid colors, gorgeous textures, and breathtaking sights. He is the Giver of every good and perfect gift! And in the same instance, I was reminded of 1 Corinthians 2:9 where we are promised, “…hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love Him.”!💖 How is that for blessed hope and glorious truth?! 😃 That is a bit of Randomness for your Friday! 😉

This is the FINAL 2020 Spring100 post which is really bittersweet but at the same time a such a huge milestone. Each photo was such a blessing to receive so thank you for sending!! To name a few titles she holds, Grace is an Artisan Shoe Maker, Business Manager and adviser, Efficiency expert, Project Organizer, and excellent breakfast Biscuit Baker[y’all, her cinnamon biscuits are out of this world good!] She’s also the best Ice Breakers in the most awkward of situations[definitely a good skill to have] and tremendously honest… so if you don’t want to hear the truth, don’t ask her. 😝 Grace radiates the Love of Christ in all she does and I am so excited to be celebrating her all day week long! 😉🎉 Happiest of birthday to date, Grace!! 🎈Happiest of Birthdays…

Y’all, there’s a super special post today…. Today is the day I get to take a moment to wish the best Dad in the entire world a tremendously happy Birthday! 🥳 SO thankful and excited to be blogging all about him today. 🙌🏻 The Lord has blessed my Dad with a spectacular sense of humor, perceptive spirit, discernment, and enthusiastic energy which fills my family’s days with so much laughter, great guidance, and direction. My dad is a “get-er-done” type of person and isn’t afraid to do whatever it is that needs doing in unconventional ways when necessary[i.e. grocery shopping for a family of 14 during COVID-19 “purchase limits”😉😋]! I am truly thankful for the years of life, leadership, vision, and wisdom the Lord has given my Dad and tremendously grateful for his daily sacrifice for his family and friends. Words cannot even begin to describe how blessed I am to have him as my Dad and to be celebrating his BIRTHDAY! 💛 Happy Birthday, Dad!! Truly thankful to the Lord for you. Just my daily meditation and a quick post as I make my way to the kitchen to whip up dinner. The Lord God is faithful! 💛 May we be as Abraham who against hope believed in hope, staggering not at the promises of God(Romans 4) and as Sarah who “judged HIM faithful who had promised”(Heb 11:11). Today’s the day! 🙊 The day we put our hands together in a round of applause, pull out the confetti, and sing that Happy Birthday song as we celebrate a very special birthday… !! 👏🏻🎉 TODAY JOEL turns 21!!! 🙌🏻 🥳 Kind, compassionate, merciful, and caring with wonderful sense humor would be a few words to describe the birthday guy! Joel isn’t afraid of being laughed at for the sake of other’s happiness and doesn’t take himself too seriously to not laugh at himself right along with you and that is something I truly appreciate about him! His days are spent tirelessly working hard in the business he started nearly 7 years ago[if I have my dates right] and he is known by his clients as helpful and honest in all his business dealings. Among his many talents, Joel is a very active runner[half marathons are a piece of cake for him], guitar player, photographer, and weed wacker[😉]! And y’all, today we get to celebrate him ALL DAY LONG. 👏🏻🎉🙌🏻 Happy Birthday, Joel! I am truly thankful to the Lord for you and look forward to what He has in store for your days ahead. May they be filled with abundant blessings and daily grace as you diligently seek Him! The Lord is faithful and is a rewarder of them that diligently seek Him.
