2.) I am thankful for a beautiful Thanksgiving day spent with my family counting our blessings and enjoying good food!
3.) I am thankful for the Trails of my faith that this year has held! And the promise we have if we let patience have her perfect work in us. “Knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience. But let patience have her perfect work, that ye may be perfect and entire, wanting nothing.” James 1:3-4
4.) I am thankful for the blessings and benefits that fill my day! “Blessed be the Lord, who daily loadeth us with benefits, even the God of our salvation. Selah.” Ps 68:17

Here we are on the Eve of Thanksgiving! 🥧🦃 The kitchen is abuzz with excited bakers and the house is filled with the overwhelmingly delicious aroma of Pumpkin Bread. Y’ALL! Tomorrow is Thanksgiving. 😍🙌🏻 Each one of you has blessed me with your thanksgivings as we count down to the day! THANK YOU for being a part of this community as we rejoice in the Lord and Give Thanks!! ♥️ I’m about to jump into the kitchen and bake a pecan pie BUT FIRST my 5 thanksgiving!! Today I am:

1.) Thankful that “for whom the Lord loveth he chasteneth, and scourgeth every son whom he receiveth…. Now no chastening for the present seemeth to be joyous, but grievous: nevertheless afterward it yieldeth the peaceable fruit of righteousness unto them which are exercised thereby.” Hebrews 12:6, 11
2.) Thankful that we are receiving a kingdom that cannot be moved! “Wherefore we receiving a kingdom which cannot be moved, let us have grace, whereby we may serve God acceptably with reverence and godly fear: For our God is a consuming fire.” Hebrews 12:28-29
3.) Thankful for a fun outing with sisters and my mom today! ♥️😄
4.) Thankful for the ability to prepare a Thanksgiving feast with my family. That is a fun blessing!
5.) Sleep! After a long day, a good night’s rest is refreshing! “I will both lay me down in peace, and sleep: for thou, LORD, only makest me dwell in safety.” Psalm 4:8

2.) I am thankful that salvation is a GIFT from God. “For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God” Ephesians 2:8
3.) Thankful that the Lord is longsuffering and has given me a longsuffering family! Y’all, I need it. ♥️😅 “The LORD is gracious, and full of compassion; slow to anger, and of great mercy.” Ps 145:8
4.) Thankful for Soft beds and comfortable pillows! ;) Try sleeping on a hard bed or uncomfortable pillow. It is not fun!🙈
5.) Thankful for Autumn Colors!!! Aren’t they so gorgeous?! 🍂
6.) Thankful for work to daily lay my hands to! And for the Lord giving me the strength and ambition to DO THE NEXT THING. Whatever that may be! 👏🏻 “Whatsoever thy hand findeth to do, do it with thy might…”
7.) Thankful for time spent with family over a meal or before bed talking and sharing about the day’s happenings. That time of fellowship is my favorite! 🧡
8.) Thankful for “diversities of gifts” mentioned in 1 Corinthians 12. “Now there are diversities of gifts, but the same Spirit.”! The Lord has given us all different gifts that we may all work together like a “For as the body is one, and hath many members, and all the members of that one body, being many, are one body: so also is Christ.”

Very much unexpected but it made the day feel more festive and cozy! 🍂 I can’t tell you all how much I have been blessed and encouraged by YOUR Thanksgivings in the comments. When I get a notification of comment received, I smile and quickly hop on to see who is joining the Thanksgiving countdown fun!! 🙌🏻 TODAY:

1.) I am THANKFUL that the Lord’s mercies are new every single morning! “It is of the Lord’s mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not. They are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness.” Lamentations 3:22-23
2.) I am THANKFUL that the Lord Jesus Christ saves to the uttermost! That means completely and fully. Our salvation does not hinge on or is not dependent on our own works. We are saved completely by the shed blood of Jesus Christ! “Wherefore HE is able also to save them to the uttermost that come unto God by Him, seeing he ever liveth to make intercession for them.” Hebrews 7:24
3.) I am THANKFUL for God’s grace which sufficient for the day and whatever it may hold! His strength is perfect!! 🧡 “And He said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.” 2 Corinthians 12:9
4.) I am THANKFUL that we are to walk by faith, not by sight!! “While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal.” 2 Corinthians 4:18
5.) I am THANKFUL for this new week and the knowledge that the Lord God has it perfectly planned out!! “As for God, His way is perfect: the word of the Lord is tried: He is a buckler to all those that trust in Him.” Psalm 18:30

I hit the grocery store for our monthly pantry restock with a sister. Y’all, it was busy in the grocery aisles! 🦃 People preparing for thanksgiving feasts and finding their favorite turkey to roast. Y’all!! 😅🙈 It has most definitely been one of the busiest Novembers here and I have so missed my random sometimes frequent blog posting. BUT, praise the Lord, an extensive work project has been completed and I’ve found my way back to my tiny corner of the world wide web! *🙋🏼‍♀️Frantically waves hello🙋🏼‍♀️* Anybody out there?? How have you all been? Here we are just 1 week away from Thanksgiving which just happens to be my favorite holiday! 5 Thanksgiving for the day:

1.) First and formost for the salvation that comes through Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior!! “Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.” Acts 4:12
2.) For my family! They are a daily blessing from the Lord and I am so grateful for each member.
3.) For the Lord giving me this blog and the ability to share His goodness on it!
4.) For each friend I’ve made through this blog. YOU ALL bless me so much!!
5.) And last but not least…. For CAROLINE and her thoughtfulness! The loveliest floral package found its way to my mailbox today and was such a surprise(how I love postal surprises💌😍🙌🏻). “What was inside??” you may be wondering. 😊 An extremely thought-filled gift! Caroline is the master of hand lettering and knew I was interested in learning. So she sent me a few of her favorite hand-lettering tools with an encouraging note included. WOW! What a huge daymaker!! 🥰 Though we’ve never met in person, Caroline has been a sweet encouragement and blessing in my life and I thank the Lord for her! Thank you, Caroline.🧡 The Lord has used your act of kindness to bless me in a very special way! 😊
