Please Pray….

To all my brothers and sisters in Christ,

Please pray for my Dad. He went into the doctor for what was shortness of breath and pain in his calf. He was sent to the hospital this evening and after tests and ultrasounds they have found blood clots in his leg and both lungs. This is a complete shock that none of us expected. I am left really speechless… Please join with us in praying for the healing of my father and that we all would continue looking to the Lord no matter what may happen.

We serve the God of hope, with Him there are no mistakes, and whatever may happen He is in control! Praising The Lord for my father and praying the great Physician will miraculously heal his body. For there is nothing impossible with God!

About Rachel

"Come now, and let us reason together," says the Lord, "Though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be white as snow; though they are red like crimson, they shall be as wool. If you are willing and obedient you shall eat the good of the land; but if you refuse and rebel, you shall be devoured by the sword"; for the mouth of the Lord has spoken." Isaiah 1:18-20

  1. Oh Rachel…
    I am praying for you.
I found your blog through the Naylor Ladies blogs and love it for the cooking and beautiful photography. I am the oldest child of five in a homeschooling family in Colorado. My father is heading for the final stages of a debilitating and deadly disease. So I understand a small bit of how you feel right now.
I know no words can truly address how you feel, but I am praying and do care over the miles.
    Your sister in Christ

    1. Dear Sister in Christ,
Thank you so much for your prayers! And your encouraging words. They have blessed me today! God is good, no matter what. My heart goes out to you as you and your family. Praying the Lord fill you with peace and strength as you look to Him during this extremely hard time!

“I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help. My help cometh from the Lord, which made heaven and earth.” Psalm 121:1-2

  2. My heart goes out to all of you. Praying for healing for your Dad, and for the peace and love of God that casts out all fear for all of your family. In these kinds of situations it is so hard to not worry and fear, but Jesus wants us to trust him even in the deepest trials. We are praying, please keep us updated.

    1. Thank you! I knew I could count on you and your daughters for prayer. Such a blessing! I will update as soon as we hear from the cardiologist this evening!

  3. Praying for you and your family Rachel! May He fill you with His strength!

Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for יהוה(Yahweh) your God will be with you wherever you go.”Joshua 1:9
