A Cup of Spring…

In the land where cacti grow wild I never imagined wildflowers would be so abundant but they are springing up everywhere! The dining-room table is delightfully arrayed with cups of morning glories, pink primroses, bluebonnets, and yes, even a few dandelions have made their way in to the bouquets. :) Drinking glasses are disappearing only to soon be found filled full of colorful petals picked by half-a-dozen little hands. Whenever I look at the glasses filled full, I am reminded to “Consider the Lilies”! :) Don’t forget, there is a great amount of  beauty in simplicity….. Happy Spring!! (:

Consider the lilies how they grow: they toil not, they spin not; and yet I say unto you, that Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these. If then God so clothe the grass, which is today in the field, and tomorrow is cast into the oven; how much more will He clothe you, O ye of little faith?”
Luke 12:27-28

My little sister, Ruth{florist-in-training}, gifted me with theses flowers. :) Thank you, Ruth!!

About Rachel

"Come now, and let us reason together," says the Lord, "Though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be white as snow; though they are red like crimson, they shall be as wool. If you are willing and obedient you shall eat the good of the land; but if you refuse and rebel, you shall be devoured by the sword"; for the mouth of the Lord has spoken." Isaiah 1:18-20
