Oh my! Another 8 days without a post. Life has been very busy, so busy that I picked up my camera today for the first time in 12 days! Each day that the Lord gives me breath is a good day and I am thankful. Today I am thankful for so much but I am extremely thankful for God’s sovereignty! I have been reading Habakkuk 3:17-18 quite a bit the last few days:
“Though the fig tree may not blossom,
Nor fruit be on the vines;
Though the labor of the olive may fail,
And the fields yield no food;
Though the flock may be cut off from the fold,
And there be no herd in the stalls—
Yet I will rejoice in the Lord,
I will joy in the God of my salvation.”
Isn’t that beautiful?? It is so easy to have a great amount of joy and to be thankful when everything seems to be going grand. But it is so important to do the same when “the fig tree may not blossom”. :) That is something the Lord is teaching me. A very random thought to add to a very random post! Lord willing, I will dust off my camera and update this blog more often with real pictures!

“Many, O Lord my God, are Your wonderful works
Which You have done;
And Your thoughts toward us
Cannot be recounted to You in order;
If I would declare and speak of them,
They are more than can be numbered.”
Psalm 40:5
Certainly a blessing to be so busy and prospering. Things will slow down and get back to normal…May the Lord bless you all and give you strength while you go about your business and His business.
We gave our purchases to my daughter-in-law as a shower gift. She loved them! She was blessed and her little baby will be blessed and so cute! I’ll take pictures, but the birth is still a ways off…well, about 4 weeks. :)
Thank you!!!
Oh!!! Only 4 more weeks. How exciting! :) we will look forward to seeing a picture or two!
