Spring has sprung and is quickly flying by! Texas weather has been quite the rollercoaster. The Solar Eclipse, Mild and cool days to scorching hot heat, and golf ball-sized hail…! It reminds me of Psalm 97:6 as it says, “The heavens declare HIS righteousness, and all the people see HIS glory.” The Lord has filled my Spring days to the brim and overflowing! The Flowers are in full bloom and East Texas grass is a gloriously green. 💐 Family time and evening walks during sunset have been a favorite for me this Spring! A Mother’s Day Beach Trip, time spent with my adorable niece, and travels with siblings will be memories that last forever! To add to the sweetness, gracious hospitality from friends, a great times of fellowship with believers in North Carolina, and good food fill my camera roll.😉☕️ So, here I am to share it all with you! 🙌🏻✨ Happy Spring to you all! 🙋🏼♀️
QUESTION!! How has your Spring been?? Did you get to witness the Solar Eclipse?
“Blessed be the Lord, who daily loadeth us with benefits, even the God of our salvation. Selah.”
Psalm 68:19
“I will instruct thee and teach thee in the way which thou shalt go: I will guide thee with mine eye.”
Psalm 32:8
Such a lovely collection. We also had Mother’s Day on May 12th. May has flown by, I can’t believe it! Oh, and do I spot mochaccino cupcakes there? 😍
You have a good eye!! Yes, those are my mochaccino cupcakes.🥰 So good to hear from you Auré!!!
And so lovely to hear from you & to catch up with all you lovely people 🥰 And congratulations, you’re an aunt now?! ✨
Oh yes, dear Rachel, they’re one of our favorite treats and a big hit overhere in BE!
Keep up the lovely posts! We didn’t get around to join the Spring100, but have visited the posts, and woohoo: so many people entered!!! 🙌🏻✨
Thank you, Aurélie! ♥️♥️♥️
Such beautiful and fun pictures! Lovely to see all your sisters and mom together for a special day at the beach honoring your mother! Lots of ladies and lots of sweets. ;-) I also love your hymn book! My church uses a Baptist hymn book with all the old hymns of the faith. When we have a pianist, we use the piano, when not, we sing congregational A-Cappella.
Spring has held some amazing surprises! My two sisters went to Micronesia where the youngest lived as a missionary kid in the 80s. Since she speaks fluent Chuukese, she was able to help an expedition find the remains of some missing-in-action men, linked to Amelia Earhart, from WW2! It was the culmination of 25 years of collective research on the part of the team to bring the men home!
Also, the Lord spared my mom, another sister, and a friend from the destruction of tornadoes that devastated the towns of Rogers (especially) and Bentonville (to a lesser degree), where they live. They lost trees and had minor structural damage, but God spared their lives!! Sadly, much of Rogers was completely demolished.
I’ve struggled with some personal and physical difficulties this spring. Sometimes trial can be very hard, but God is faithful to carry us through each storm. He has promised never to leave us nor forsake us. Praise His holy name!!! One day we will be with Him, and all our trials will be as nothing.
“One day we will be with Him, and all our trials will be as nothing.” Amen! ♥️🙌🏻 What a glorious day that will be!! It was such a JOY to get a spring update from you, Sheri. 🤗 Praise the Lord for His sustaining power!
Lovely photos. This spring has been enjoyable to me as well! I did see parts of the solar eclipse… I was working, but popped outside for a peek every now and then. Did you all see any of the Northern Lights in Texas?
Congrats on your sweet little niece! They are such a joy in life! <3
I didn’t get to see any of the Texas northern lights but some of my friends did!!☺️
Yes, she’s a joy!!!💗💗💗
