Well, it has been just too long since I last checked in with you all! Days have been FILLED to the BRIM with unexpected events, new mercies, good fellowship, and lots of work.πͺπΌ And this week I’m finally finding a moment to slow down, soak in all that has taken place this past month, and say “HELLO” to you!! ππΌββοΈ How have you been, my friends? As I think over this summer and honestly my entire life, the verse that always comes to mind is Psalm 69:19. It says, “Blessed be the Lord, Who DAILY loads us with benefits, The God of our salvation!” He daily loads us with benefits and so many we often overlook or take for granted. “With all spiritual blessings, with an abundance of grace, as well as with temporal mercies”(J.Gill)! I don’t know about you but I am so thankful for the abundance of grace and mercies that fill my day. ππΌ Blessed be the Lord!! 𧑠So, how about just a little randomness via iPhone photos? It has been said a picture is worth a thousand words so I will leave the pictures to tell the story! But I would love to hear from YOU! Pretty Please.π What has been the highlight of your Summer?? What are you most looking forward to this Fall? ππΌ Let me know in the comment box below or just drop a note and say “Hello”. Your comments make my day! πππ»
“You have also given me the shield of Your salvation; Your right hand has held me up, Your gentleness has made me great.”
Psalm 18:35
“Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ: According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love: Having predestinated us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to himself, according to the good pleasure of his will, To the praise of the glory of his grace, wherein he hath made us accepted in the beloved.”Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ: According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love: Having predestinated us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to himself, according to the good pleasure of his will, To the praise of the glory of his grace, wherein he hath made us accepted in the beloved.”
Ephesians 1:3-6
Hi! Just popping in to say hello and tell you how much I appreciate and enjoy your beautiful, homey pictures. In this stressful world, they were like a balm to my heart.
Good to see Micah in the upper picture, and some of the gang in the bottom picture!
It looks like all is well with you and your family.
I’m going through a very rough time with my extended family right now, so seeing a functional, happy family that loves and honors the Lord is especially wonderful!
Thank you for reaching out again in blog and pictures and with wonderful scripture verses! We are indeed accepted in the Beloved!!! Praise God!! Also, the sentence that says God’s gentleness has made us great. I know it was talking about David, but I also know it pertains to us as well because God never changes. :-)
Just wanted to thank the Lord for His mercy and love to step in and calm the stormy seas so very quickly! I wrote last night that I was having a rough time with a portion of my extended family. Even though it was highly distressing, I stayed out of the way and PRAYED and let God do His work. He is the miracle worker! How quickly and wonderfully He stepped in and removed/solved the difficulty! God is truly amazing above all our expectations!!
Wow!! What a beautiful testimony of Godβs faithfulness and mercy. Made me think of that verse from Exodus 14, βThe LORD shall fight for you, and ye shall hold your peace.βππΌβ₯οΈ
Iβm so thankful you enjoy the homey photos!! And I agree wholeheartedly. βGodβs gentleness has made usβ is so very true and applicable for me and you!!!π€
Hello Rachel! Loved seeing your random life update through photos! π It looks like you’ve been having *sweet* times in the kitchen ππ (those cinnamon rolls look mouth-watering! π€€), as well as with family and friends, in the Word, and in our Father’s creation! π One highlight of my summer was taking a trip to go see my brother and his little family. π₯° (And this weekend they are coming to see us!! This auntie’s heart is very happy. π) A couple of things I am looking forward to this fall are…a few concerts my family and I are doing, a fall church cookout, and a heritage festival!

My Summer has been so blessed – some highlights I’m thankful for are my brother’s wedding, enjoying sweet fellowship with believers from near + very far, starting a Fall garden already, enjoying my new kittyπ + having both my brothers with their own little families + homes now, and making memories all together when we can!π Crazy how time flies – how am I a daughter, sister, sister-in-law to two and aunt now, all at the same time?π
For Fall I’m looking forward to our annual outdoor get-together, and enjoying fellowship in Christ there. Now that’s just one thing though – I’m very excited about this Fall season which starts tomorrow!! Blessings to you, sister-friend, and I hope you enjoy this upcoming season!π₯°π

Summerβs highlights include time spent with brothers, sisters and parents and a very special surprise from my family in August. So grateful for the rich spiritual blessings bestowed on us in Christ as well as the sweet physical and material blessings He crowns us with everyday. Everything we have comes from the Lord and I bless His name for it all.
