I know!! It is a touch early to be wishing y’all a very happy Thanksgiving BUT this next week will be a tad-bit busy for me… So, I figured, sooner is better than never! π To each and every one of you, HAPPY THANKSGIVING!! π¦β¨ I pray this time of celebration is filled to the brim and overflowing with goodness as you count your blessings, GIVE THANKS to the Lord, and enjoy your families.𧑠As we take the week to bake up a delicious assortment of pies and prepare the Thanksgiving Turkeys let’s recall the goodness of the Lord toward us and speak of His faithfulness to all we see! In every second of every day, He loads us with blessings and benefits that cannot be numbered. I am reminded of Ps 31:19 as it says, “Oh how great is thy goodness, which thou hast laid up for them that fear thee; which thou hast wrought for them that trust in thee before the sons of men!” The Lord God is so very good and worthy of our praise. May we truly GIVE THANKS with grateful hearts!ππ»π

This is what I shared with my church family this afternoon: Psalm 107:1-3
“O give thanks unto the Lord; for he is good: for his mercy endureth forever. Let the redeemed of the Lord say so, whom he hath redeemed from the hand of the enemy; And gathered them out of the lands, from the east, and from the west, from the north, and from the south.” (The Word of God says He sets the solitary in families and brings out those which are bound with chains! Psalm 68:6. I’m so thankful for my salvation and the church where He planted me 38 years ago!)
1. I’m thankful for my Lord and Savior! Without Him I would be existing in rebellion until I dropped into hell.
2. I’m thankful for my church and brethren in the Lord. I am blessed by my extended Christian family, which includes you, Rachel.
3. I’m thankful for health and the ability to get warm when it’s cold, a roof over my head, peace of mind and heart, enough food to eat, and the joy of serving and praising the Lord!
I think my favorite Thanksgiving food is turkey, though I love the blended tastes of all the traditional foods!
My Thanksgiving was today at church. I look forward to it every year. What a blessed time!!

3 Thanksgivings of mine today are…
That a very special friend of ours from Ohio was able to come and visit for a day or so this weekend that we haven’t gotten to see in a long time!π₯³ We had such a fun time!π
For our amazing, and so kind and caring and generous godly neighbors!! π₯°
And for the amazing Church that we get to attend every week! π
My favorite thanksgiving dish would probably be our fruit salad.π I just love me some fruit, and while I enjoy the other dishes as well, they’re a little rich for me. π
We’ll be spending Thanksgiving by ourselves playing games, eating, etc, though our Church had a thanksgiving meal last night and we were able to go to that, which was very lovely. π₯°
Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family,Rachel!!π₯° May it be a blessed time together!π
