It has been faaaaaar too long since I have checked in with you all! 🙋🏼♀️ How are you this lovely Thursday?? As of late I have been thinking a lot about how extremely thankful I am that, because of Christ Jesus my Lord and Savior, I am a work in progress!! It is His doing not my own. 🙌🏻 How thankful I am that The Lord God is daily doing His good work in me(Ps 139:16), sanctifying me(1 Thes 5:23, John 17:17), guiding me(Ps 32:8), and conforming me to the image of His Son(Rom 8:29). We are promised that “HE which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ”(Phil 1:6)! 🙌🏻 The Lord is so graciously teaching me to rest in the work He is doing in me, to gladly accept the challenges that come my way(Romans 5:3-5, James 1:2-4), learning from them, rejoicing in them (1 Thes 5:16), and giving thanks through them knowing His work is a GOOD and PERFECT WORK and He will lead me every step of the way(Ps 23:3). I am reminded of Psalm 138:8 as it says, “The LORD will perfect that which concerneth me” and 1 Corinthians 1:8 as it says “Who shall also confirm you unto the end, that ye may be blameless in the day of our Lord Jesus Christ.” And those, my friends, are just a few very random thoughts swirling through my head.😉 Here we are in September!!🙌🏻🍃 The Summer has been filled to the brim and overflowing with productivity, answered prayers, and new adventures for my family! The Lord God is so good to fill our days with His abundance and I am truly thankful!!! 😍 As I witness His great faithfulness in the days which have passed, I look forward to seeing what the days ahead hold as He faithfully leads me every step of the way.🙌🏻😊 So, how about a few photos from the past couple of months? All very random but all have a story and tell of the Lord’s goodness and grace!! 🙋🏼♀️ Happy Thursday everyone!!
QUESTION! What has been the highlight of your Summer? Also, is there a specific scripture has the Lord used to encourage you lately?? I’d love to hear! Your comments make my day so don’t leave without saying “hello” below!!😉🙌🏻
Farm life is bustling! The Summer Months gave me the oppertunity to learn how to keep thirsty cows well watered and the invaluable lesson of not turning your back on the feed bucket. 😉
Our sweet friends hosted a Lady’s Tea and we were so blessed to be invited!! I do believe it was the first “official” tea I had ever been invited to. Such a great fellowship, fun games, and delicious food!! 😍
The Lord blessed drought-stricken texas with an abundence of rain! Prayer answered. The grass is gloriously green once again! 😍🙌🏻🌱
Nathanael took a group of us an a fun Sunrise hike at the Westcave Peserve!🧡 We had a blast!
Tons of hard work from everyone here went into packaging and shipping this year’s Spring100 Shirts!! Praise the Lord for a happy, quick, and efficient work crew. THANK YOU ALL! 🙌🏻
Tons of birthdays to celebrate here and lots of delicious Birthday Cake has been enjoyed this Summer!!😁🎂
And there has been all the “in between”!! Good hard work(not pictured but it did happen😉), evening games of volleyball with siblings, birthday family brunches at our favorite bakery, new friends met + old ones greatly enjoyed, memories made, and very happy times! God is good and I am so very blessed. 🧡
“And the very God of peace sanctify you wholly; and I pray God your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.”
1 Thessalonians 5:23!!
What a lovely post. ❤️
Such wonderful thoughts, reminders and encouragement!
I’ve been thinking on these verses:
Php 1:20 as it is my eager expectation and hope that I will not be at all ashamed, but that with full courage now as always Christ will be honored in my body, whether by life or by death.
Php 1:21 For to me to live is Christ, and to die is gain.
Some translations say, Christ will be magnified (or exalted) in my body. How incredible that Jesus will be and is exalted in our bodies, by His grace!
Php 1:29 For to you it has been granted on behalf of Christ, not only to believe in Him, but also to suffer for His sake,
This verses also has wowed me -the gift of believing and suffering.
Thank you for posting, Rachel. Hugs 🤗
What a JOY to see your comment fly in!!!!😍♥️ And I am so thankful you found the post an encouragement. Praise the Lord! 🙌🏻
WOW indeed!!🤯 Those verses are so powerful and encouraging!! ” How incredible that Jesus will be and is exalted in our bodies, by His grace! ” That is incredible and so humbling. Praise the Lord!! I love how Philippians 1:20 says, “in nothing I shall be ashamed”. THANK YOU for your beautiful comment, Anna!! Made my day and encouraged my heart.🤗🧡
QUE HERMOSAS FOTOS HERMANA, QUE BELLOS TIEMPOS COMPARTIDOS EN FAMILIA, LA GRACIA DE DIOS ABUNDO GRANDEMENTE EN USTEDES. COMO VIVO EN EL HEMISFERIO SUR (ARGENTINA) ESTAMOS ENTRANDO EN LA PRIMAVERA, SE SIENTE EN EL AIRE, LOS PRIMEROS BROTES DE LAS PLANTAS Y DE LOS ARBOLES ESTAN COMENZANDO A SALIR, HAY DIAS FRIOS Y ALGUNOS CALIDOS, NUESTRA PRIMAVERA ES VENTOSA Y CON LLUVIAS, DE HECHO, ANOCHE LLOVIO BASTANTE Y HOY ESTA MUY FRIO, TUVE QUE ENCENDER NUESTRA ESTUFA A LEÑA, ESTA NOS HA MANTENIDO CALIENTE A LO LARGO DEL INVIERNO. PARTICULARMENTE AMO EL FRIO, NO ME GUSTA EL VERANO, NI EL CALOR, PERO COMO DIOS HIZO TANTO LO UNO COMO LO OTRO, DOY GRACIAS POR ELLO. ME GUSTA MUCHO EL SALMO 15, QUE DICE ¿QUIEN HABITARA EN SU MONTE SANTO? ¿COMO PODEMOS ESCAPAR DE ESTE MUNDO CORRUPTO SIN SER CONTAMINADOS? SABEMOS QUE SI NO VIVIMOS EN SANTIDAD, NO VEREMOS A DIOS, SON TIEMPOS DIFICILES, LLENOS DE MALDAD, LLENOS DE PELIGROS POR TODOS LADOS COMO DICE EL APOSTOL PABLO, PERO SABEMOS QUE DIOS GUARDA A LOS QUE LE TEMEN Y LOS QUE CREEN EN EL, AUNQUE ESTAMOS EN ESTE MUNDO, NO SOMOS DE ESTE MUNDO, DEBEMOS TENER CUIDADO DE NO CAER, VESTIRNOS CON EL YELMO Y LA CORAZA PARA RECHAZAR TODA OBRA DEL MALIGNO QUE NOS QUIERA SEPARAR DEL AMOR DE DIOS. ¿COMO ES TU INVIERNO DONDE VIVES? ¿TEXAS ES FRIO? POR CIERTO, ESAS TAZAS SON PRECIOSAS¡¡¡¡¡¡ BUENO RAQUEL, TE SALUDO CON LA PAZ DE JESUCRISTO, QUE DIOS LOS BENDIGA RICAMENTE Y ME GUSTA SIEMPRE LEER TUS PUBLICACIONES, ENCONTRE TU BLOG A TRAVES DEL BLOG DE LA FAMILIA GIROTTI. UN GRAN ABRAZO A LA DISTANCIA.
It is so fun to hear how the weather is there in ARGENTINA, Ana!! Your cold spring mornings sound quite refreshing after our summer heat. ENJOY the cooler days and new life that Spring brings! 💐🌱🍃 Mmm… so loved your sharing Psalm 15 and those truths!! Thank you. 🙌🏻🧡
Our winters here in North East Texas are very mild and wet!! Usually we will not drop below freezing but a heater is still needed and warm, cozy sweaters are enjoyed.😄
Aw, praise the Lord! I am so thankful you enjoy my blog. I am blessed by your sweet and encouraging comments!! THANK YOU!🙋🏼♀️
