Ladies and gentlemen… today is a very special day! A day I get to dedicate to my Dad and take a special moment to thank him for his daily sacrifice for his family. Today is my Dad’s 39th Fatherversary!!😁 This past week I have been thinking about different qualities I really appreciate about my Dad and so many come to mind! His love for the Lord and His Word, his unmatched energy, enthusiasm for any job he takes on, fabulous sense of humor, and dedication to his children are just a few. My dad has supported, encouraged, and pointed us to The Lord in every area of life and is always there to lend a helping hand as we take on tasks the Lord calls us to.🙏🏼 John 15:13 is the verse that always comes to my mind when I think of my Dad, “Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.” Happy Father’s Day, DAD!! I am thanking the Lord for YOU and your example which has blessed me beyond describing! 🧡🙋🏼♀️ Hope you have a FABULOUS DAY and delicious Father’s Day steak! 🥩😁
“The just man walketh in his integrity: his children are blessed after him.“
Proverbs 20:7
“Blessed is every one that feareth the Lord; that walketh in his ways. For thou shalt eat the labour of thine hands: happy shalt thou be, and it shall be well with thee. Thy wife shall be as a fruitful vine by the sides of thine house: thy children like olive plants round about thy table. Behold, that thus shall the man be blessed that feareth the Lord. The Lord shall bless thee out of Zion: and thou shalt see the good of Jerusalem all the days of thy life.”
Psalm 128:1-5
Beautiful family pictures! What a blessing to have a godly father that leads his family in the ways of the Lord, during these days when such a thing is not popular. He that lives to please the Lord is a wise man.
My own father was saved in his 50’s, so I wasn’t living at home anymore. He and my mom and youngest sister went to the mission field to a primitive island called Truk. They served there for a few years. When my dad passed away in 2006, he woke up from a three-day coma and said, “Washed in the blood of the Lamb,” then the Lord took him home.
I’m looking forward to fellowshipping with him again someday soon. :-)
By the way, your dad looks good in that fake black mustache! Just saying…
All he needs is a cowboy hat, a sheriff’s badge and a colt 45. :-D
😆🥸 You know, the first 10 years of my life, he had a mustache just like that! The day he shaved it off was a complete shock to my 10 year old self! 😂
Too funny! I can understand how it would be a shock to a young child!
My dad grew mustaches and beards (goatees) over the years but was mostly clean-shaven. Because he never kept facial hair for long, it was never a shock to me when he shaved.
The Lord has truly gifted him…a “mighty man of valor”🙏🏽❣️
Happy Father’s Day DAD!!!!🤩🤩
Happy Father’s Day, Dad!!
Thank you, Mr. Leake, for your godly example as a father and leader to your family! I know from experience what a blessing it is to have a daddy who loves, supports and leads his children in the Lord! May He bless you for your example and all you do for your family and for Him!!🧡
Such a beautiful post, Rachel, and soooo many fun photos!🤩
