Happy Saturday!

Phew, what a week it has been! 😅 Early mornings, late nights, lots of coffee… The first 2 weeks of March tend to be the busiest weeks of my entire year as I dive into a large work project and prepare to launch Spring100!!🙌🏻🎉 Filled with tons of product photography, all things Spring100 preparation + organizing, and loads of odds and ends. I am so thankful that I don’t do the Month of March in my own strength BUT it is in the strength of the Lord that I move forward. A verse I love to repeat to myself is Psalm 71:16 as it says, “I will go in the strength of the Lord God: I will make mention of thy righteousness, even of thine only.” !! And how happy I am to have a moment, as I wait for photos to import into my computer, to jump on and say “hello” to YOU! 🙋🏼‍♀️ How are YOU?? What are you looking forward to most this beautiful month of March? I would love to hear your answers or just a simple “hello” in the comment box below.👇🏼 Happy Saturday to you all! 🙌🏼

“And let the beauty of the Lord our God be upon us: and establish Thou the work of our hands upon us; yea, the work of our hands”
Psalm 90:17

“My mouth shall shew forth thy righteousness and thy salvation all the day; for I know not the numbers thereof. I will go in the strength of the Lord God: I will make mention of thy righteousness, even of thine only.”
Psalm 71:15-16

About Rachel

"Come now, and let us reason together," says the Lord, "Though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be white as snow; though they are red like crimson, they shall be as wool. If you are willing and obedient you shall eat the good of the land; but if you refuse and rebel, you shall be devoured by the sword"; for the mouth of the Lord has spoken." Isaiah 1:18-20

  1. Hi, Rachel! Sounds like you’ve had a busy week!! I totally feel ya! 😅
I’m looking forward to warm weather and new blooming trees and flowers. Spring is my favorite season and it is so amazing to watch the wonders God works every year when spring comes again. It fills me with such joy and awe of Him.
Thank you for the verse you shared!

    1. Isn’t it amazing to see His creation come alive and burst with beauty+color during Spring??! You made my day with your sweet comment, Joy!! THANK YOU. I hope March is extraordinarily blessed for you!! 💐🙋🏼‍♀️

      1. Thank you, Rachel!! The same to you!!
Yes, spring reminds me that winter won’t last forever and it’s sort of pointing towards summer with a hopeful expectance of joy. And it amazes me that the God who created and sustains this beautiful world loves and cares for each and every one of us!!

“For I will satisfy the weary soul, and every languishing soul I will replenish.” – Jeremiah 31:25

    1. Thank you so much, Caroline!!! 🤗💝 We are soooo close to kicking off Spring100. Keep your eyes open!👀💯😍

Thank you so much for those prayers!! SUCH a blessing to me.😄♥️ I wonder, how is the weather up north during March? Still cold and maybe snow? Or do y’all warm up pretty fast? Hehe, isn’t that date graphic soooo cute?? Couldn’t resist sharing! 😆

      1. Yes!! I’m keeping my eyes open for sure!!👀💯😍 Well, I’ve only been here for 1 March (and a few days of this one) but it seems like the weather can’t make up it’s mind.😆 It’s been really cold and then 4 days ago it was 68 degrees and then it was really cold again and now today it’s in the mid 50s,so… 🤣 The weather is calling for more snow next week so I guess we’ll see what happens.🤣😉😊🌸
I can guess that the weather down there is pretty warm.😉 is it?

        1. That sound about how our March weather was when I lived in Missouri! 🙃❄️☀️🌸

I’ve heard it say that you know your in Texas when you experience all 4 seasons in 1 week! That’s definitely how it is here in East Texas!! March goes from low 30 to high 80 and all the in between during March! 😂♥️ The month seems to have mood swings. 😉🙃

          1. 🤣 That’s kinda funny about experiencing all 4 seasons in 1 week.😂😉🙃 We had tornado warnings tonight but they all missed us. Pray for the ones who were in the path of it! 🙏

          2. Yes. We’re safe, but there is lots of damage around the town we live nearby.🙏

          3. Georgia gets wacky weather all the time!! It’s crazy, one day it was 68 and dropped to 17 degrees that night 😅😂😂

  3. I’m most excited about the month-long virtual writing camp I’m attending, and of course the start of Spring 100!
“O come, let us sing unto the Lord: let us make a joyful noise to the rock of our salvation.” Psalm 95:1

    1. Hannah!! That virtual writing camp sounds like it is going to be such a good one!! YAY, so glad you can attend. 😁♥️ Looking forward to having you this Spring100!! 🙌🏻

      Fabulous verse by the way!!💕

  4. Hi. Rachel. Whimsy, the grace of God and muted colors become you.

I’m looking forward to Spring100! I’m also looking forward to completing the second book of my series (I’m on the 39th and final chapter). Then I should be starting the last book after a short breather to recover from the severe emotional difficulty of the past three chapters. :-)

I love, “I will go in the strength of the Lord”!!!

    1. Thank you, Sheri!! 🤗♥️ Your kindness blessed me this afternoon!!

Wowza, you are making huge progress!!! I would say a short breather is very much called for. You’ve poured yourself out into these books. So excited for you!!! 🙌🏻😍

    2. Now you have me very curious! :) What books are you writing? Do you have any published yet?

      1. I have two books (not part of the series) that are no longer in print, but I hope to republish them in April, if I can. Next month they will return to my ownership.

The series that I’m currently writing is a serious contemporary fantasy (the story begins in 2020) in the vein of C. S. Lewis but without talking animals and written for older teens/adults because of its mature themes of violence, death, betrayal, rejection and heartbreak. As in reality, God is sovereign throughout the story and takes my sixty-eight-year-old main character and her sister and niece from Earth to a planet called Valarra, where they are changed in a broken transmuter. Then my main character is separated from the other two and finds herself a traumatized child in an unknown world. I take her from the age of eight to nineteen in the first two books.

The series is called “Through the Void”
        Book One: “The Variant Child”
        Book Two: “The High Throne”
        Book Three: “The Exiled Earthling”

It has been incredibly emotional to write, coming from deep inside, but it’s so fulfilling!

        1. Thank you so much for sharing about your projects with me, Mrs. Claude!!! <3 As a fellow writer, I love hearing what other writers are up to. Yes, writing can be so emotional and so fulfilling. We really pour ourselves into our stories, don't we? Have you heard of the Kings Daughters Writing Camp? It's a free virtual camp for Christian ladies and girls. I think you might would enjoy it! I'm attending one of their camps right now. The next one will be in July! :)

          1. Thanks for the heads up about the writing camp. I’ll check into it! I wouldn’t have time for a writer’s camp right now because of the rigorous writing/editing process that has currently engulfed me. It sounds like something fun for later on, though, since I enjoy everything about writing!!

So glad you are enjoying it! We do pour ourselves into stories! It is a God-given gift. “Whatsoever thy hand findeth to do, do it with thy might;” (Ecc. 9:10) “And whatsoever ye do, do it heartily, as to the Lord, and not unto men;” (Col. 3:23)

Thanks again, Bethany! God bless you!!

  5. Thank you for the lovely post, Rachel!! Short and very sweet! <3 I'm enjoying attending writing camp as well, and very excited to be making some progress on some writing goals. Plus, I started writing a new book, so hopefully I can make a lot of progress on it this month. I'm already taking walks, so hopefully I'll be conditioned for Spring 100!!!!

    1. Thank you for YOUR lovely comment, Bethany!! Always a joy to see your notes fly in. 😍 You have some great plans for March!! I’ll be excited to hear how they go. And I’m so super excited to have you back for another Sp100, Lord willing!! 🙌🏼🥳

  6. Amen! He is always faithful to give us the strength we need to conquer our tasks! Keep up the good work, Rachel!!🙌♥️♥️😘

Leave a comment and make my day! :)
