“My son, forget not my law; but let thine heart keep my commandments: For length of days, and long life, and peace, shall they add to thee. Let not mercy and truth forsake thee: bind them about thy neck; write them upon the table of thine heart: So shalt thou find favour and good understanding in the sight of God and man.”
Proverbs 3:1-4
Yep! I know it’s a Thursday but hey…π Let’s call it a Wednesday-Thursday and have fun with random questions and a few random pictures from my Spring days! Sound okay to you?? Good! πThis evening I was reading through Proverbs and so encouraged by the verses I read in Chapter 3. “HAPPY is the man who finds wisdom… Her ways are ways of pleasantness, and all her paths are peace.” (Vs 13,17)What a promise! Pleasantness & Peace. βΊοΈ Praise the Lord! I am thankful for the promise found in James 1:5 that “If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally”. The Lord gives wisdom GENEROUSLY to those who ask for it and in the way of wisdom is pleasantness and peace! πThe Spring months have been graciously full for me. Mostly with office work and product photography with a good dose of Spring100 mixed in! ππ― Beautiful Spring sunsets have filled my heart with happiness, new lambs bring cuteness to the farmyard, freshly picked and gifted miniature bouquets of wildflowers add a splash of color to my desk, and farm-fresh eggs ready to be washed and stored are a lovely sight. Sweet coffee trips with sisters and snail mail have added such memorable touches to this season and God’s amazing grace has filled my every single day! God is so good and I am truly blessed. π€ Phew, if I talk much longer, this will turn into a Random Question Wednesday-Friday!! π How about we get to those random questions, shall we?? Can’t wait to hear from you!

cucumbers, corn, and raspberries!! Mmmm! I love your garden choices. π Psalm 115:1 is a favorite for me! “Not unto us, O Lord, not unto us, but unto thy name give glory, for thy mercy, and for thy truth’s sake.” AMEN!ππ»π
what is your favorite color?
βwhat is your favorite color?β Ah! Fun question!! Thank you for asking. π€ My favorite color is Jade Blue and Burnt Orange!! π§‘πππ» What is your favorite color, Jane??
purple and teal
Oh!! Those are beautiful Favorite Colors, Jane! π
These are such fun questions :) 1) riding bikes with my youngest sister in the evenings has been super special this spring! But also, I so enjoy hearing the birds chirping when I leave for work in the mornings– it’s the sweetest “good morning” 2) 3 things to grow… asparagus, brussel sprouts, and beets =^D 3) I used to only like stability. Now I’m more inclined to say that I actually enjoy spontaneity. My mom & sister like to say that I like “planned spontaneity” haha! 4) The Lord has been showing me this week a lot of areas that He wants to grow me in, so as different things have arisen throughout my week, I have been meditating on specific verses relevant to those areas that need refinement. One of those Scriptures has been Psalm 119:9-11: “How can a young man keep his way pure? By guarding it according to your word. With my whole heart I seek you: let me not wander from your commandments! I have stored up your word in my heart that I might not sin against you.”
Thanks for these fun questions, Rachel! It’s been awhile since I’ve checked in over in these parts and I so appreciate the encouragement in the Lord that you always offer up. Such a balm to my soul! What are your answers to these questions? I pray that you are well, friend!
Michaela! What a fun blessing to hear from you!!π€π
Oh, I love Brussel Sprouts too. Great garden choices!! π
I smiled when I read βplanned spontaneityβ. I think that would describe me too!
Love the verses you shared from Ps 119!! Just finished that chapter this week and WOW. So good! I am praying for you tonight as the Lord God does His perfect work in your heart, refining you, and conforming you to His image!! Reminded of these verses:
“And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose. For whom He foreknew, He also predestined to be conformed to the image of His Son, that He might be the firstborn among many brethren.”
“Such a balm to my soul!” Well, praise the Lord! That blesses my heart to hear as I pray my blog would be a place of spiritual encouragement and refreshment. HE IS SO FAITHFUL!!
Oh fun, you asked what my answers would be. Here they are:
1.) Definitely the evening sunsets and vibrant colors that have shown themselves in nature! Green Grass, gorgeous flowers, vivid blue skies. It’s been a beautiful season! ππΈ
2.) Potatoes, Tomatoes, and Green Beans! I figure if I have those I can make a stew or loaded baked potato or pizza sauce.π
3.) Like you, βplanned spontaneityβ would best describe what I enjoy. I might lean a little more toward “Stability” but Love love loves being spontaneous and being surprised as long as I am not caught off guard. π π
4.) Right now I am in Psalms, Proverbs, Matthew, and 2 Thessalonians. Matthew 10:38-39 would be my choice verse of the week as it says:
“And he who does not take his cross and follow after Me is not worthy of Me. He who finds his life will lose it, and he who loses his life for My sake will find it.”
Thank you so much for blessing me with your sweet and encouraging comment, Michaela! May the Lord God richly bless you as you continue to seek and serve HIM! Psalm 73:28 π
One thing I’ve been enjoying about Spring this year is my evening walks with my 8 year old brother Morgan and also seeing everything green up and seeing all the flowers come up and bloom!πΊπΌπ»π³ππΊπππ€
If I had a garden and could only grow 3 things I would grow raspberries, blueberries, and strawberries probablyππ€ πππ I LOVE berries SO much!! They’re a lot of work to take care of thoughππΆπ
I like some of both Spontaneity and Stability….I will often do spontaneous things or will join others in doing them but I also like to have a schedule and a good plan for things and everything stable and explained.π
Currently I’m reading in 2 Corinthians and a verse that has encouraged me this week is….
Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort those who are in any trouble, with the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God. For as the sufferings of Christ abound in us, so our consolation also abounds through Christ. 2 Corinthians 1:3-5
And….
For it is the God who commanded light to shine out of darkness, who has shone in our hearts to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ. 2 Corinthians 4:6
I would rather go Parasailing then Scuba diving. ππππππ€ I’m not a good swimmer really and think I would be scared of something going wrong when I was under the waterπ₯΄ππ
Would you rather go on a roller coaster or a really high water slide?? I would choose roller coaster for sure!π€ ππππππ

Oh! Fun question. If I had to choose between a roller coaster or a really high water slide… Iβd have to say Iβd choose the water slide! ππ I donβt like the idea of being tipped upside down high above the ground. π π²
