Y’all, there’s someone to celebrate today and I’m pretty thankful for HIM! ππ» You guessed it, today’s GIDEON’S 23rd Birthday. π₯³ And it just happens to be his GOLDEN BIRTHDAY(23 years old on the 23rd!)ππ His rugged good looks, charming smile, great conversational skills, knowledge in just about EVERYTHING[name any topic and he will give you a detailed rundown on it], and tall stature make him unforgettable and very much enjoyed by all! Gideon is firm, consistent, and steady but also extremely sensitive and doubly sweetπ, willing to change his schedule for your needs. AND TODAY is HIS BIRTHDAY!!ππ In keeping with my daily 5 thanksgivings posts, I am going to share 5 things about Gideon I am thankful for! πReady, set, go:
1.) I am extremely thankful for Gideon’s kindness and patience! He has a longsuffering spirit which is so appreciated.π§‘
2.) I am thankful for Gideon’s phenomenal and quick sense of humor! His willingness to be laughed at in order to make someone else smile.
3.) I am thankful for Gideon’s epic driving skills! Y’all, if you have a long 800-mile drive and feel like sleeping the entire way, he’s the man drive you!
4.) I am thankful for Gideon’s vast knowledge and willingness to fill me in and keep me up to date on what is going on in the world.
5.) I am thankful for Gideon’s attention to detail and meticulosity!
6.) BONUS!!!! I am SO thankful HE IS MY BROTHER!!!!!πππ

I am Thankful for….
ο»Ώ#1- The different seasons with all kinds of beautiful weather and pretty things in each of them!! :)
#2- The freedom to worship God in this country!!! SOO very thankful for that!!!!
#3- Beautiful hymns and music. And good Christian songs to listen to. :) :) :)
I really like gospel bluegrass-ish music and one of my favorites is music by Daniel and Emma Lynn Glick. :) I also LOVE beautiful instrumental relaxing and peaceful hymns as well!! I have quite a varied taste in music. XD
#4- So many ways to keep in touch with all my friends!!! SO thankful for that!!! I pen-pal to 26 people and some of them I e-mail as well and it is SO nice to be able to keep in touch with them!!!! :) ;D :)
#5- A neighbor who has lots of chickens that lay lots of eggs and we can buy really fresh eggs from!!! It is such a blessing to be able to just drive over real quick and get fresh eggs!! :) :D :)

Today I am thankful for….
1). The sweetmail I got today from you, Ruth, and Caroline!!!! π±πππ Such a special daymaker for a somewhat challenging day! A huge “thank you” to all three of you! π₯°
2).I am thankful that my Dad was so kind to help me with a misbehaving dog the evening!!! He remained patient, even though the dog squeezed under our neighbors gate and escaped THREE times today! So blessed by his sweet willingness to help me!
3).I am SO thankful for my sister, Lydia!!! She was a fantastic help with getting dinner ready tonight!! I was running a little behind this evening, and she was so sweet to help by grating cheese, fetching dishes, and setting the table! Incredibly blessed to be her sister! π
4). I am SO thankful that the Lord is so faithful to forgive us of our sins, even though we continuously sin against Him each day! ππ»

We used to have a dog and she was always running off to the neighbors house to be with their dog, and we always had to go chase her and bring her back but she would just go right back to the neighbors, so I know what it’s like to have a misbehaving dog!!! ππΆπππ€£ππππ

1. So thankful for BROTHERS! God blessed me with TWO big brothers! Gentlemanly, sweet, thoughtful, helpful, strong, skilled young men in our life (in fact, growing up under our same room!!) are such a huge blessing.
2. God’s watch over His children. We drive around, work, explore, etc. and yet He looks out for us and gives us protection.
3. For SUCH a special day with my new sister-in-law! It’s so fun spending time together and getting to build this special friendship.π
4. Oil lamps that add such a beautiful, cozy feel to our evenings.
5. Beautiful night skies! I love to see the moon and bright stars after dark!
