Yay! It’s Random Question Wednesday, y’all. 🙌🏻 The title says it all! 3 very random questions posted every Wednesday along with a “Would you rather” question and topped off with a few photos. It’s a fun way for us to get to know each other a little better! And hey, if you’ve had a random question you’ve wanted to ask me, feel free to leave your question after you’ve left your answers to my questions. 😉 I will try to give a completely honest reply to your most random questions! 💆🏼♀️👩🏼💻 If you’ve followed along but haven’t taken time to join the fun, jump in and give your answers. This week I chose to stick with the Autumn theme and am sharing a few favorite Autumn prints and graphics. 🍂 I do hope this week has been filled to overflowing with God’s goodness wherever you may find yourself! I was reminded this morning of Titus 2 where it tells us that the grace of God has appeared to ALL MEN. That is an amazing truth, isn’t it?! “For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men, Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world; Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ; Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works.” Titus 2:11-14. Great choices on the 3 things you’d take on a desert island!! I was reminded by your first choice of Matthew 4 where it says, “But He answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God. The Word of God is your sword and should always be at your side that you “may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.”(eph 6:10-18)
Oh! I agree on the surprise! If you know something is happening to surprise you but you don’t know what. That can be maddening! ;) Best to be a complete surprise!!😝

1) I would probably read for the whole day or go hiking with friends!
2) I like good suprises if I don’t know anything about it! But I can’t stand if I know there is a surprise but don’t know what it is!🙄
3) Gosh, this is a hard question! I think I would take my phone, one of my sisters, and food of some sort!
I would much rather eat vegetables, there is a lot of variety and you can eat them so many different ways!

Hehe, people say it’s near impossible to surprise me(I tend to be a bit too perseptive at times😅🤦🏼♀️) so I can understand the “if I don’t know anything about it” part! I love it when someome finally gets a good surprise past me. 😉

Hmm…That’s a VERY hard question!!!!!! If I could do anything for one day I would probably spend the day with my best friend hiking or shopping at Hobby Lobby!! :) ;D :) Or I might just go and shop at Hobby Lobby for the whole day by myself!!!!! XD though I would buy LOTS of things (probably not all things I NEED!!!) because I LOVEEEE Hobby Lobby and I LOVE looking at/buying all the CUTE and ADORABLE and beautiful things there!!!!!! XD ;) XD

You would definitely be enjoying a healthy diet if you ate like Daniel!!! I think my biggest problem would be that I do enjoy my meat. If I can eat like Daniel and enjoy some grilled chicken or a cheeseburger on the side, I think I would do great. ;)

If they are outdoor “barn Cats” that keep the mice away, yes!!!!😹😉 Kittens are irristiblely cute. Wish they could stay that small forever! Do you have any cats, Caroline?? If so, how many and what are their names??

YESSS!!!!! We have 4 cats right now!!! :) :D :) We have a really old calico that we named Patches that has been here for around 7 years and is a stray but once she found us I guess she decided that she wanted to stay with us!!!!! :) ;D :) And then we have a stray Tabby cat (that we named Catriona after someone in a book) who’s been here for about 4 years and has stayed here ever since she came and has had 2 litters of kittens every year!!!!!!!! We’ve found homes for all of the kittens that she’s had except for 2 that we still have are are not really kittens anymore but they are such good kitties and are so cuddly and patient I love them so much!!!!!!!!!!!! :) :D :) There names are Pepper and Tabasco!! We did have one that was named Salt that was Pepper’s and Tabasco’s sibling but we found a home for him and only Pepper and Tabasco are left. ;) :D :) We feed them scraps and food and leftovers and they also catch a lot of mice and voles. :P They looove all the food and attention that they receive!!!!! They are all very good cats and they are also very spoiled cats!!! XD :) ;D :) XD None of them are house cats. :) :) :)

Oh I love shopping too! But I probably would not do it for the whole day or my bank account would be empty🤪 We don’t have Hobby Lobby here in Canada but we have Michael’s which is similar! And every time I go there I want to buy everything🙈 But I think I like shopping for clothes even more then shopping for craft supplies😊

I’m coming from the first 3 questions differently.
1. If God told me to choose anything I wanted to do for one day, I would ask to be able to write and compose a hymn that would glorify God, edify and bless believers, and point the lost to Christ.
2. I love surprises! I love Christmas Eve because I hold surprises for loved ones. The more special the surprise, the more excited I am. I vastly prefer surprising others, to being surprised myself, whether by news or gifts.
3. Ok, this one is harder: surviving a deserted island. What 3 things would I take?
I would ask some questions before making a decision. How long will I be there? Is there any hope of rescue, or fresh water, or game? Is it a desert island or a tropical island? If I am to be rescued, how long do I have to survive before rescue comes? Is there an abandoned structure already on the island, or is it totally wild? Does the island have predatory animals?
Then I would be better informed to make my decision.
*No rescue: my Bible, a hymnbook, a water-proof tarp
*Desert island with rescue in a reasonable amount of time: sunscreen, fishing gear, a large tank of fresh water
*Tropical island with non-threatening animals, and a promise of rescue: a water-proof tarp, fishing gear, matches
*Tropical island with diverse fauna, including predatory animals, and a promise of rescue: a water-proof tarp, fishing gear, a gun and ammo
*An island with a deserted, empty home, and the hope of rescue: a box of MREs (military food), a blanket, toilet paper ;-)
Of course, so many things would be needed to survive a deserted island for very long: matches, hatchet, hunting knife, canteen, binoculars, sunscreen, sunhat, sunglasses, aluminum cook set, fishing gear (pole and tackle), blanket, grommeted tarp, rope to stretch out the tarp, insect repellant, good pair of hiking boots, first aid kit, a gun with ammo or a bow with arrows, to name a few. :-)
Last question:
I would rather eat like Daniel. While I admit that I love wholesome breads, I also love most veggies, and I would probably be healthier on Daniel’s diet.

So fun. 😁 Yes, I think ammo and a gun would probably be a very handy weapon when facing the unknown animals lurking behind the bushes!!😱🙈 And a highly function knife would be a must…. Hmmmm…. I think I better increase my deserted island list from 3 to 33 items! 😉🏝
