Here we are at day 20. My memorization for the last 2 days has been speaking of chastening from the Lord. Painful (sometimes VERY painful) for the present but promises the peaceful fruit of righteousness to those who are trained by it. It is my prayer that by the grace of God I am trained by it and that I submit to the molding of my Creator so that He can do His good work in me!
I listened to a great 5 minute message today and thought it fit perfectly with our challenge to memorize the word of God. It blessed me today, so I am sharing it with you all in hopes that it will also bless you! I pray that my feet will be shod with the gospel of peace…Thanks for sharing the message…It made me realize that perhaps God is preparing me through this scripture memorization to share a special message of His salvation to someone very near to my heart who may be close to death. It is my only sibling, my younger brother who has refused in his life to acknowledge God. It is not as if I can just share my faith…I have done that. It is the Holy Spirit that will have to overflow with words of life that he will receive. I hope to be visiting him… not this weekend, but the next. Please keep me in your prayers and my brother.

Thank you so much for sharing. I just prayed that the Lord would prepare you to share the message of salvation to your brother and will continue to pray. Both for your brother’s salvation and physical healing and that the Lord would work through you to do a mighty work in your brother’s life. God is good and mighty to save!!
