About Rachel

"Come now, and let us reason together," says the Lord, "Though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be white as snow; though they are red like crimson, they shall be as wool. If you are willing and obedient you shall eat the good of the land; but if you refuse and rebel, you shall be devoured by the sword"; for the mouth of the Lord has spoken." Isaiah 1:18-20

  1. But I will hope continually,
And will praise You yet more and more.
My mouth shall tell of Your righteousness
And Your salvation all the day,
For I do not know their limits.
    Psalm 71:14-15

  2. Well, I’m on day 7 and I just recited all of Psalms 19 to my patient husband and we both began to laugh, because I reminded him of Barney Fife… Have you ever seen the clip where he is trying to memorize the Preamble to the Constitution?
    I’m really not that bad… ; )

    1. Haha!! YES, I have seen that clip and couldn’t stop laughing when I ready your comment!! :) I tend to do the same thing at times when reciting the last 7 days of memorization… of course not as bad as Barney Fife…. I think. ;)
Congratulations to a finished Psalm! What an accomplishment!!

  3. Do not let your beauty be that outward adoring of the arranging of the hair, of wearing of gOld of putting on fine apparel, but let it be the hidden person of the heart with the incorruptible ornament of a quiet and gentle spirit which is very precious in the sight of God. 1 Peter 3:3-4
