“The eyes of all wait upon Thee; and Thou givest them their meat in due season. Thou openest Thine hand, and satisfiest the desire of every living thing. The Lord is righteous in all His ways, and holy in all His works.”
Psalm 145:15-17
“For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse”
Romans 1:20
Aww! Do you have ducks?! There’s ADORABLE!??????
It was supposed to be “they’re adorable!”
We do, Anna! ? Long story short, these are ducks that roam our pond. The mother duck was raised in our farm yard but the father duck is wild and was here when we moved in. Well, each year they hatch out a little brood of adorable ducklings but sadly (due to the predators lurking in the pond) the ducklings never make it. This year my sister had the beautiful idea of moving the freshly hatched ducklings and their mother into a large cage equipped with their own tiny man-made pond and shelter until we could be sure they were too big to be eaten by our over-sized catfish and water snakes. ?We are excited to release them when the time is right! ??And yes, they are cute!! ?
What a great idea! It will be so much fun to release them when they are old enough!
Cool! I love ducks! I think your sister’s idea is great!
Amen, Rachel!
In all the ages of mankind, no one has an excuse that they didn’t know there is a God. His handiwork is all around us, and He has written His laws into the hearts of all people – it’s called the conscience. “The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament shows His handiwork. Day unto day utters speech, and night unto night shows knowledge. There is no speech nor language, where their voice is not heard.” Ps. 19:1-3.
Only fools close their eyes to what they see of God in creation. Why? Because they love their sin and their pride, and they don’t want their sins to be made manifest to themselves or the world. “Because that, when they knew God, they glorified Him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened.” Rom. 1:21.
Praise God that He gives the gift of faith to His chosen! Without His mercy we would never come to Him. Rom. 3:10-12 says, “As it is written, there is none righteous, no not one: there is none that understands, there is none that seeks after God. They are all gone out of the way, they are together become unprofitable; there is none that doeth good, no, not one.”
So, what is a lost person to do?
Pray to God for mercy, for His gift of faith to believe to the saving of their soul. It is not our prayer that saves us; it is God’s gift of faith to pray the prayer with knowledge that He has heard and saved us. We know, because He makes us a new creature in the moment we believe with our whole heart. Believe what? That we are sinners that have broken the laws of God, and we are completely deserving of hell; that Jesus suffered and died on the cross for our sins, and rose again for our justification. He takes our sins and gives us His righteousness. Glory to God! “Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.” 2 Cor. 5:17.
He only is the Savior. Jesus is the Author and Finisher of our faith. “Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.” Acts 4:12.
I am a weak vessel at best; but what I have written is the gospel, which is the power of God unto salvation. I didn’t start out to make this a “tract” but in God’s providence, it became one. I pray it is a blessing. God only knows.
Aaaaaamen! ?☺️This is amazing and beautiful truth. Wow, Praise the Lord indeed! You can write a tract in the comment section ANY DAY!? May the Lord use it to bless many hearts and open eyes to His salvation!
“For when we were yet without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly. For scarcely for a righteous man will one die: yet peradventure for a good man some would even dare to die. But GOD commendeth HIS love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. Much more then, being now justified by HIS blood, we shall be saved from wrath through HIM. For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of HIS Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by HIS life. And not only so, but we also joy in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom we have now received the atonement.” ROMANS 5:6-11
Amen and amen!!! Such wonderful, blessed words of hope and joy that the world can’t take away from us!
