Merriest of Christmases…

Before the night ends, I wish you all a very merry Christmas!❤️✨ May your hearts be filled to the brim with wonder, gratitude, and joy as you ponder the greatest gift ever given “For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.” Romans 6:23“And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name Jesus: for HE shall save his people from their sins.” Matthew 1:21

Through the tender mercy of our God; whereby the dayspring from on high hath visited us, To give light to them that sit in darkness and in the shadow of death, to guide our feet into the way of peace.”
Luke 1:78-79

“And we know that the Son of God is come, and hath given us an understanding, that we may know him that is true, and we are in him that is true, even in his Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God, and eternal life.”
1 John 5:20

About Rachel

"Come now, and let us reason together," says the Lord, "Though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be white as snow; though they are red like crimson, they shall be as wool. If you are willing and obedient you shall eat the good of the land; but if you refuse and rebel, you shall be devoured by the sword"; for the mouth of the Lord has spoken." Isaiah 1:18-20

  1. Love those passages! We are safe in Christ because He took the sting of death and judgment against our sins upon Himself. When I repented in January of 1986 and cast myself wholly upon His mercy, knowing in my deepest heart that I deserved hell, and could not save myself nor ever be worthy of His mercy, then He had mercy on me and saved me. It was the pinnacle of my life. Praise His Name!

    1. Praise the Lord indeed! What a joy to have you as a sister in Christ. Your testimony of His mercy is such a blessing!!
“Thanks be unto God for his unspeakable gift.” 2 Corinthians 9:15

  2. Yesterday I read your post about the candy cane. The story has been read to me, but I liked your much brother and his account of the candy cane. Those videos are precious treasures that never grow old.
I also liked the questions asked in that post. I asked my family before we read the Christmas story what their favorite Christmas verse and Christmas cookie they liked. My husband and I both agreed that we had never thought about our favorite Christmas verse. Favorite verse, we’ve thought about, but not our favorite Christmas verse. Here is our results:
    Scott: Luke 2:11; snickerdoodles
Yvonne:Luke 1:77-78; cranberry walnut swirls, Christina: Isaiah 9:6; Sugar cookies, Jordon:Matthew 1:21; White chocolate macadamia nut, Corissa: John 3:16; Thumbprint cookies, Elijah:Luke 2:14; peanut butter blossoms, Hope:Luke 2:8-20; chocolate chip, Jonathan:Matthew 1:21; white chocolate chip cookies, Jeremy:Luke 2:7; snickerdoodles. That was a neat way to find out what verse each one liked and to learn about their favorite Christmas cookie. Of course, some of us have more than one favorite cookie and could have listed two at least, but that’s ok.

We have a Saviour that gave Himself for us which was the best gift ever! He didn’t stop there. He still gives all things that pertain to life and godliness. One day we’ll be with Him. For now, He’s preparing a place for us and wants us to live out the purpose He has for us. We are SO blessed! Thank you, Rachel, for sharing and asking questions. Thank you for using the talents and abilities The LORD gave you to bless others. You ARE a BLESSING! God bless all on the day after Christmas and into the next year. He is Worthy of our Praise!
