About Rachel

"Come now, and let us reason together," says the Lord, "Though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be white as snow; though they are red like crimson, they shall be as wool. If you are willing and obedient you shall eat the good of the land; but if you refuse and rebel, you shall be devoured by the sword"; for the mouth of the Lord has spoken." Isaiah 1:18-20

Psalm 136:26 Oh give thanks to the God of heaven for His steadfast love endures forever!

    What is YOUR favorite pie?

    1. Thank you, Rebekah and Family!!
Hehe, most of my friends can’t stand my favorite pie choice.?? It’s Cranberry Raisin which my mom makes PERFECTLY! SOOOOO Good!!❤️

  3. Gratitude and faith go hand-in-hand. As our gratitude grows, we are acknowledging that our loving Father is in control of all things, and our faith grows stronger. And as our faith and trust grows, we remember to give God thanks, even in the midst of trials. This is why thankfulness is so special to God, and is the “sacrifice of our lips,” because we are both trusting and remembering Him.

My favorite pie used to be pumpkin, with real whipped-cream or vanilla ice cream. (I had to give up sugar 5 years ago as a post-cancer precaution, so I don’t eat–or miss–dessert anymore!) Though I still enjoy raw honey occasionally, and lots of fruit. :-)

    1. Wow, you are definitely inspirational giving up sugar 5 years ago. <3 Way to go!! :) I hope you had a blessed Thanksgiving, Sheri!! <3

      1. Thank you! You, too! I spent Thanksgiving with my walking buddy, Gita, and on Friday I had a second blessed Thanksgiving with my sister-in-law and 3 of my nieces. Both days were special and blessed. I thank the Lord for His bountiful blessings.

Leave a comment and make my day! :)
