“Consider the work of God: for who can make that straight, which
He hath made crooked?”
Ecclesiastes 7:13
“O the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and knowledge of God! how unsearchable are His judgments, and His ways past finding out! For who hath known the mind of the Lord? or who hath been His counsellor? Or who hath first given to Him, and it shall be recompensed unto him again? For of Him, and through Him, and to Him, are all things: to whom be glory for ever. Amen.“
Romans 11:33-36
He is our Sovereign God and Creator. ‘For we are His workmanship created unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.’ (Eph 2:10) I’m so grateful that He is pure holiness and full of mercy.
“I’m so grateful that He is pure holiness and full of mercy.” AMen!!!!!!!! Me too. Praise the Lord!☺️❤️ “O Lord, our Lord, how excellent is thy name in all the earth! who hast set thy glory above the heavens.” Ps 8:1
Amen! How unsearchable are his ways! Oh the futility of trying to figure out God’s ways. John the Baptist was troubled while in prison because in his affliction he had been blinded to God’s ways. How Job spent months of sorrow and was greatly troubled. Crying for God to answer him. How easily we are offended because we do not yet know his ways!
We try to make strait what God has made crooked and we give birth to Ishmaels. We faint and we cry but God knows that we shall come forth as gold. When God is finished with us we will no longer stagger and will have faith to bring forth Isaac and to obtain his promise s. To God be all the glory.
Your comment was very encouraging and very timely. Thank you, Henok! It reminded me of Psalm 46:10 where it says “Be still, and know that I am God: I will be exalted among the heathen, I will be exalted in the earth.”
“We try to make strait what God has made crooked and we give birth to Ishmaels” Yes! It is so true.
“For we are saved by hope: but hope that is seen is not hope: for what a man seeth, why doth he yet hope for? But if we hope for that we see not, then do we with patience wait for it.” Romans 8:24-25 May we walk by faith and not by sight, trusting that the Lord our God’s way is perfect!
As for God, HIS WAY is perfect: the word of the LORD is tried: HE is a buckler to all those that TRUST IN HIM.-PS 18:30
Absolutely love the spider web with drops of dew and the glint of sun!!! How marvelous are His Works and His ways past finding out! I have to admit it takes me back to the days in Centreville when we would walk on the trails behind our townhouse. There was a photographer that captured a spider web and other magnificent works of God. She saw the splendor and captured them with a cameras eye! How can anyone not see that there is a Creator behind the creation? The spider’s web is perfect. It has the right amount of strength to capture the prey it needs. When we look deep into God’s creation, we cannot help but marvel at his meticulous care and attention to detail! Praise God! He is MARVELOUS!
I may be strange but I really love spider webs! They are an amazing display of God’s unfathomable creativity!! Thank you for your comment, what a joy to see come in this morning.?? It reminded me of Romans 1 where it says:
“For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse”
❤️✨ He is indeed marvelous!
What an incredible reminder–thanks for always posting these encouraging verses! God is so very good! You always seem to post these truthful reminders in perfect timing. Over the past week I’ve been continuing to struggle with an injury and very sore throat. I was/am so discouraged and was wondering why God allowed me to suffer with so much pain at the same time. This was such a wonderful reminder of how God truly knows best. Love that picture as well! So beautifully captured and detailed!
Aw, all glory and praise goes to the Lord!!! He puts it on my heart to post and provides the perfect and timely scripture. ?? It is an answer to my prayers to know this has encouraged you, Annie! May the Lord fully heal you and use this time to draw you nearer to Himself!! <3
And not only so, but we glory in tribulations also: knowing that tribulation worketh patience; And patience, experience; and experience, hope: And hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us.Romans 5:3-5

I have been meditating upon these verse above this past week.
Oh the peace of God that comes upon us when we learn to hope. When we ceace from out own works and enter into his. How foolish I have been in questioning and despising my trials.
Job 40
1 Moreover the LORD answered Job, and said,
2 Shall he that contendeth with the Almighty struct him? he that reproveth God, let him answer it.
3 Then Job answered the LORD, and said,
4 Behold, I am vile; what shall I answer thee? I will lay mine hand upon my mouth.
If we are save by hope surely then there is no hope without experience, and no experience without patience, and no patiance without tribulation. For that I give glory to God for my tribulations.
Amen! :) We are to “glory in tribulation” and “count it all joy” when we fall into divers trials. Aren’t you glad we serve a very gracious and merciful Savior? Your above verses that you have been meditating on have been the exact verses I have been really thinking on this past week. The Lord is gracious to do His good work in us, daily and so sooo patiently conforming us to the image of Christ[Rom 8:29, Phil 1:6]! “Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ” Eph 1:3!
“My brethren, count it all joy when ye fall into divers temptations; Knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience. But let patience have her perfect work, that ye may be perfect and entire, wanting nothing.” James 1:2-5
