Therefore with JOY…

“Behold, God is my salvation; I will trust, and not be afraid: for the Lord Jehovah is my strength and my song; HE also is become my Salvation. Therefore with joy shall ye draw water out of the wells of salvation…

And in that day shall ye say, Praise the Lord, call upon HIS name, declare HIS doings among the people, make mention that his name is exalted. Sing unto the Lord; for HE hath done excellent things: this is known in all the earth.”
Isaiah 12:2-5

” And HE that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new. And HE said unto me, Write: for these words are true and faithful. And HE said unto me, It is done. I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end. I will give unto him that is athirst of the fountain of the water of life freely.”
Revelations 21:5-6

About Rachel

"Come now, and let us reason together," says the Lord, "Though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be white as snow; though they are red like crimson, they shall be as wool. If you are willing and obedient you shall eat the good of the land; but if you refuse and rebel, you shall be devoured by the sword"; for the mouth of the Lord has spoken." Isaiah 1:18-20

  1. Thank you for this lovely reminder. I’ve felt pretty drained from joy today, blaming the rain. However, the JOY OF THE LORD is my strength, and I need to remember I really have a reason to have joy, as Isaiah 12 says. <3 Thank you for these simple, sweet reminders which season my day whenever I find them in my inbox. :)

    1. I’m super thankful this was an encouragement to you, Annie!! ? There are going to be times when joy/rejoicing is a choice instead of a feeling☺️! A choice that can be made as we set our hearts and minds on the truth and promises found in scripture! Rainy days will come and go but our Source of joy is steadfast and contestant! ??

“These things have I spoken unto you, that my joy might remain in you, and that your joy might be full.”John‬ ‭15:11‬ ‭

“Whom having not seen, ye love; in whom, though now ye see him not, yet believing, ye rejoice with joy unspeakable and full of glory: Receiving the end of your faith, even the salvation of your souls.”‭‭1 Peter‬ ‭1:8-9‬ ‭

  2. Amen! It is the Lord’s righteousness that we are given at salvation; not our own. (Rom. 3:22) We have no righteousness apart from Jesus. We are HIS workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them. (Eph. 2:10) Praise God for His love, mercy, and wonderful patience to us!
Thank you for sowing the Word of God!
I was feeling blue today; it is good to remember to praise the Lord in everything! (I Thess. 5:18)

    1. Amen!! I love all the scripture references. Thank you Sheri!!
Aw, praise God!! He laid it on my heart to post this today and I’m so thankful He has used it to encourage hearts. ? A verse I was thinking of today was Romans 12:12, ““Rejoicing in hope; patient in tribulation; continuing instant in prayer”. Because of the hope we have in Christ, we can rejoice continually! Praying for you tonight, Sheri! ?☺️
