This past Sunday was a very happy day! It was long awaited, prayed for, and one of the happiest of my life. ☺️❤️ I am so thankful for the salvation the Lord has given to Ruth and the ability to witness her open profession of faith in baptism this weekend! What a glorious day!! And yes, it was cold but just as in the case of man of Ethiopia in Acts 8 where he says, “and the eunuch said, See, here is water; what doth hinder me to be baptized” so was the case with Ruth. ?Today I am rejoicing in the gift of salvation found in Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior!! “For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God” [Romans 3 > Galatians 2:16> Ephesians 2:8-9> Philippians 3:9]. For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved”[Romans 10:13]!
“Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the Lord for ever.” Psalm 23:6
“For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.”
Romans 8:38-39
“… Worthy is the Lamb that was slain to receive power, and riches, and wisdom, and strength, and honour, and glory, and blessing.”
Revelation 5:12
With tears of JOY I Praise the Lord!!! He has gifted Ruth Anna with such riches in Christ Jesus! Praise the Lord!
May the Lord strengthen and shield you, Ruthie! May HE give you a long life to PRAISE to HIS name and may all the desires of your heart be satisfied as you seek to do His will!
With Much Love,
Micah
“Blessed be the Lord God, the God of Israel, who only doeth wondrous things.”
Psalms 72:18
Aw!!!!! Ruth!!!! Sending a great BIG giant hug across all the miles – until I can give you one in person! :)
I’m so excited for you and with you! There is no more glorious life than one lived IN, WITH, and FOR Christ. No question the Christian life is a battlefield – but that makes it more exciting and means we get to stick close to Jesus! Thrilled to have you on the firing line. :)
Can’t wait to meet you soon, the Lord willing!
Praying for you,
Melanie
“Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.” 2 Corinthians 5:17
“I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.” Galatians 2:20

Rom 8:29 For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren.
30 Moreover whom he did predestinate, them he also called: and whom he called, them he also justified: and whom he justified, them he also glorified.
31 What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us?
Galatians 1:15
But when it pleased God, who separated me from my mother’s womb, and called me by his grace,
Romans 9:16
So then it is not of him that willeth, nor of him that runneth, but of God that sheweth mercy.
Hail, sovereign love, which first began
The scheme to rescue fallen man!
Hail, matchless, free, eternal grace,
That gave my soul a Hiding Place!
Against the God who built the sky,
I fought with hands uplifted high,
Despised the mention of His grace,
Too proud to seek a Hiding Place.
Enwrapt in thick Egyptian night,
And fond of darkness more than light,
Madly I ran the sinful race,
Secure without a Hiding Place.
But thus the eternal counsel ran:
Almighty love, arrest that man!
I felt the arrows of distress,
And found I had no hiding place.
Indignant justice stood in view.
To Sinai’s fiery mount I flew;
But justice cried, with frowning face:
“This mountain is no hiding place.”
Ere long a heavenly voice I heard,
And Mercy’s angel soon appeared;
He led me with a placid pace,
To Jesus, as a Hiding Place.
On Him almighty vengeance fell,
Which must have sunk a world to hell.
He bore it for a sinful race,
And thus became their Hiding Place.
Should sevenfold storms of thunder roll,
And shake this globe from pole to pole,
No thunderbolt shall daunt my face,
For Jesus is my Hiding Place.
A few more setting suns at most,
Shall land me on fair Canaan’s coast,
Where I shall sing the song of grace,
And see my glorious Hiding Place.
Thank you for rejoicing with us, Henok! We are praising God. <3
PRAISE THE LORD! Luke 15:10 – Likewise, I say unto you, there is joy in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner that repenteth
Amen! :)
Matthew 7
24 Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock:
25 And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell not: for it was founded upon a rock.
Ruth and your whole family: i wish you all the best.
And like your beautiful blog.
Thank you for rejoicing with us, Martin! You are an encouragement. Psalm 23:5
