42 is the number! ??42 chicks skillfully escaped their safe haven and scattered themselves across the green grass hiding in bushes, wood piles, and even ponds! These cute little fluff balls are faster than you would think. ? Darting every which direction and dashing through our grasp! But finally sweet victory was had when 42 chicks landed safely back in their cage. Proof found here ?that I did indeed help with the chick search and rescue in between snapping photos…. And I am finding farm life allows for lots of great exercise!! Today I am thankful for those 42[give or take a few] chicks that will one day, Lord willing, provide me with delicious eggs and for sisters who are a little faster than I am when it comes to catching them! ? Happy Friday y’all!
Aaaah! Glad y’all found them all before a hawk or varmit did!
Me too!! Or a cat. ? They also had their eyes on the chicks! ?
Wish I could have been there to help! Glad you were able to round them all up though. ? Beautiful pictures, Rachel!???❤️
