Meet Virginia! || Farm Life

“The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.”
Psalm 23:1

Unexpected and super sudden, a tiny lamb was just born and entered our growing flock! The kids named the new lamb Virginia as it is the first lamb born on this “foreign soil”?[for the history buffs out there, y’all understand! And for those who are like myself… just look up Virginia Dare ;]. Now we are just hoping Virginia is a SHE and not a HE or else the name will have to be modified. ? Yes, I have heard the arguments that one should really not name the farm animals anything but tasty food names like Lamb Chops or Pot Pie or Drumstick to prevent sentimental attachment but oh well! Have I told you we are new at this farm stuff? ;) So, welcome little Virginia. May your days of grazing be every so sweet! Y’all, meet Virginia the lamb via the Iphone. ♥

“He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters.  He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name’s sake.  Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.”
Psalm 23:2-4

About Rachel

"Come now, and let us reason together," says the Lord, "Though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be white as snow; though they are red like crimson, they shall be as wool. If you are willing and obedient you shall eat the good of the land; but if you refuse and rebel, you shall be devoured by the sword"; for the mouth of the Lord has spoken." Isaiah 1:18-20
