The moment when carrots begin to disappear from the refrigerator and there is a strange Baahing in your back yard. When baskets of freshly plucked clover clutter your porch and chirping can be heard in a small cardboard box… Y’all, this is farm life! Since I left you last week our tiny farm has grown by 31 sheep, 10 guineas, 2 bunnies[my dad had a very soft spot when at the farm & feed store ?], and 40 chicks[yet to be delivered!] Yes, you read that right. Farm life just got a little more serious at my house! ? Needless to say, Emmi and Bekah’s wildest dreams have come true and watching them is pure bliss! Sunday afternoon brought a rusty Red trailer filled full of fretfully frightened sheep[you would be too if nearly 20 unfamiliar faces were all watching you] and with the swing of the gate and unlatching of the trailer door, the sheep quickly made themselves at home in their new pasture! The chickens aren’t quite sure about their new companions but, in due time, I think they will become good friends! :) Nathanael has taken charge of the sheep and I love seeing how quickly they have taken to him. His steady consistent watch and care has the sheep willing to follow his commands! It reminds me John 10:14. ♥ So, y’all… it’s time to introduce you to Bugs and Buns the bunnies + the sheep[which have yet to be named] in a few dozen photos. The chicks will have to wait until next Farm Life post to have their debut!?? Looking forward to sharing more in the days ahead. Hope you enjoy!!

I love the sheep. I have wanted sheep for a while, but I don’t think our property is very conducive to them.
