Blessing Counting day 6!! ?

Sometimes I wonder how time flies by so fast?! I’m on day 6 of my blessing counting blog posting pursuit. :) I finished a very quick walk before a very busy day and I was really finding myself instantly humbled and thankful for prayer [Bethany and I shared the same thanksgiving today!]? For the ability to pray for others and myself, for people who pray for me[!!!], and that such a holy AWEsome God hears the prayers of His children. I was listening to the radio a few days ago and the “good news bible verse” was “Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.”[James 5:16]! The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much… that is good news indeed! :) One of my favorite verses on prayer comes from Psalm 10:17 where it says, “LORD, thou hast heard the desire of the humble: thou wilt prepare their heart, thou wilt cause thine ear to hear”. God in His rich mercy and grace, hears the prayers of His people. He hears and He answers. And do you want to know something else pretty amazing? Proverbs 15:8 says, “the prayer of the upright is HIS DELIGHT.” Today I am joining Bethany and thankful for prayer! :) The ability to pray and be heard. God is truly faithful! ??

“For this cause we also, since the day we heard it, do not cease to pray for you, and to desire that ye might be filled with the knowledge of his will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding; That ye might walk worthy of the Lord unto all pleasing, being fruitful in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of God;  Strengthened with all might, according to his glorious power, unto all patience and longsuffering with joyfulness; Giving thanks unto the Father, which hath made us meet to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light”

Collosians 1:9-13

About Rachel

"Come now, and let us reason together," says the Lord, "Though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be white as snow; though they are red like crimson, they shall be as wool. If you are willing and obedient you shall eat the good of the land; but if you refuse and rebel, you shall be devoured by the sword"; for the mouth of the Lord has spoken." Isaiah 1:18-20
