“Through the tender mercy of our God; whereby the dayspring from on high hath visited us, To give light to them that sit in darkness and in the shadow of death, to guide our feet into the way of peace.”
Luke 1:78-79
I have been so blessed by the above verses this week! Through the tender mercy of our God… How humbling is that!? He truly does guide our feet unto the way of peace. I am reminded of Ephesians 5:14, “Wherefore he saith, Awake thou that sleepest, and arise from the dead, and Christ shall give thee light.“ Isn’t there so much beauty wrapped up int that verse? I can hardly contain the joy that wells-up inside when I read it. Praise God for His goodness toward us “in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.“[Rom 5:8!] Salvation truly belongs to the Lord[Ps 3:8]! :)
Well, it is time to catch-up on photos! :) This has been quite a month for us. Mostly work has filled our days but God has also been gracious to give us other projects to lay our hands to! Our choir has ended for the season[we had so much fun!], holiday shipping deadlines have been met for our businesses[thank the Lord!], and we were so thankful for time to prepare cookie boxes for neighbors and finish our Christmas cards!! This is something my family does every year and we all like to work together on cookie prep and card making as it is a wonderful time to spend together and always a ton of fun! God was good to give the time, resources, and lots of helping hands to get the jobs done! :) So, several pictures from our fun-filled cookie making and card creating! Enjoy. :) P.S. did y’all know cookie was actually spelt cooky until the until the mid-20th century?! Random fact to take along with you. ;) Have a wonderful weekend y’all!
What a lovely post! That’s a lot of “cookys”! Looks like you all worked hard together. They look yummy. Emmie looks so sweet in her green shirt and pink tutu. Ruth’s hair looks so cute. Thanks for sharing!
Merry Christmas!

Thank you, Kayla!!
This post was so beautiful with what is the most precious part of the Christmas season to me — family love and togetherness. What a special time of year when we think of Christ and reach out to others!
Thank you, Elisha!!
True! I agree. :) I am always thankful for the opportunity to reach others with special gifts and God’s Word during the Christmas season!
