I wait for the Lord, my soul doth wait, and in his word do I hope.

“I wait for the Lord, my soul doth wait, and in his word do I hope.
My soul waiteth for the Lord more than they that watch for the morning: I say, more than they that watch for the morning.”
Psalm 130:5-6

“Thou art my portion, O Lord: I have said that I would keep thy words.
I intreated thy favour with my whole heart: be merciful unto me according to thy word.”
Psalm 119:57-58

About Rachel

"Come now, and let us reason together," says the Lord, "Though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be white as snow; though they are red like crimson, they shall be as wool. If you are willing and obedient you shall eat the good of the land; but if you refuse and rebel, you shall be devoured by the sword"; for the mouth of the Lord has spoken." Isaiah 1:18-20

    1. What a wonderful blog post. So true! What joy we have when we place out hope in the God of hope. :) Thank you for sharing, it really encouraged me! And thank you for commenting. I am blessed by your kindness! (:

  1. Oh, these verses encourage me so much ! It also echoes a discussion I had last night with a friend, and how we want to learn to wait upon God, to depend on Him, because out of His strength, there’s nothing, litterally nothing we can do ;-)
Have a blessed day, and sorry for not commenting more, I don’t have much spare time, but I still enjoy to read your blog !
    Blessings !
