happy HAPPY birthday to the world’s best M♥M :)

OH! MY! Oh my oh my oh my!! It’s my MOM’S birthday today!!! And even if I tried, I couldn’t explain to you how wonderful my mom is! :) I could try to tell you how she can organize the most cluttered spaces{organization is her gift!}, teach 9 kids at once{while catering to each child’s individual needs},  keep a large household running smoothly{that is a feat!}, continually has the laundry cleaned and neatly folded, or how she makes the world’s best chocolate cake{it’s pretty terrific!}, how she has delivered 14 children{8 of them AT HOME!}, designed an impressive diaper bag, how she can make a math/science/life/spiritual lesson out of most any circumstance, how she’s the greatest seamstress I have yet to see { makes the sweetest pillow case dresses for the little girls. Honestly, they are irresistibly adorable!}, or how she is the 2nd stabilizing force in our family{*first being my Dad, of course ;)} but all these wouldn’t scratch the surface… HONESTLY! I sit here trying to think of a word to describe my mom but instead  a couple of verses coming to mind :) :) :

“She looketh well to the ways of her household, and eateth not the bread of idleness.
Her children arise up, and call her blessed; her husband also, and he praiseth her.
Many daughters have done virtuously, but thou excellest them all.”
Proverbs 31:27-29

Needless to say, I am so thankful for all the years of life the Lord has given her and extremely blessed to have her as my MOTHER!! HAPPY BIRTHDAY MOM!! :D

And since biblically these 2 are 1, I thought it only fitting they both get birthday pictures today!! ;)

  4. I have really enjoyed reading your blog. Your photography is inspiring and your words are encouraging.
    What a blessing to have godly parents. They are such a cute couple! Did you make them coordinate on purpose?

    1. Your words are an encouragement and blessing to me! All glory goes to God and I praise Him when I hear you are encouraged by the words and inspired by the photos! He is good! Revelations 4:11

      Yes, it is such a tremendous blessing to have godly parents. I am partial but I think they are the cutest couple ALIVE! ;) Funny but my parents unknowingly {and very unplanned} find themselves perfectly coordinating most of the time! I didn’t have to ask them to change and they didn’t even notice they were coordinating until I snapped the first picture. It was too funny and their choice of colors were fantastic for the pictures!! I guess that is what 30 years of marriage does to a couple! ;)
