To each and every one of you, HAPPY THANKSGIVING!! 🦃✨ I pray this time of celebration is filled to the brim and overflowing with goodness as you count your blessings, GIVE THANKS to the Lord, and enjoy your families.🧡 As we take the day to bake up a delicious assortment of pies and prepare the Thanksgiving Turkeys let’s recall the goodness of the Lord toward us and speak of His faithfulness to all we see! In every second of every day, He loads us with blessings and benefits that cannot be numbered. I am reminded of Psalm 31:19 as it says, “Oh how great is thy goodness, which thou hast laid up for them that fear thee; which thou hast wrought for them that trust in thee before the sons of men!” The Lord God is so very good and worthy of our praise. May we truly GIVE THANKS with grateful hearts!🙌🏻🍂
QUESTIONS:
1.) Share 3 Thanksgivings
2.) What is YOUR favorite Thanksgiving Dish?
3.) How will you be spending your Thanksgiving?
My Thanksgivings:
1.) My Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and the salvation that is only found through HIM! “He hath delivered my soul in peace from the battle that was against me: for there were many with me.” Psalm 55:18
2.) My family! I cannot begin to express what a blessing they are to me. They show such mercy and grace each and every day! They point me to The Lord, calling me higher as they encourage me onward and upward. God has been so gracious to give them to me!! 🙌🏻🧡 “And let us consider one another to provoke unto love and to good works” Hebrews 10:24
3.) YOU! My blogging friends. Your faithful encouragement and friendship is a sweet gift and I thank the Lord for you! “I thank my God upon every remembrance of you” Phil 1:3
“O give thanks unto the Lord, for he is good: for his mercy endureth for ever. Let the redeemed of the Lord say so, whom he hath redeemed from the hand of the enemy”
Psalm 107:1-2
I’m so thankful for God’s grace, mercy and salvation….and loving children, kind friends, food, shelter, etc, etc, etc:):):)
Spending (spent) the day cooking, eating and visiting! Food??? Hmmm? It’s a tie between turkey (with gravy) and custard pie!
Thank you Rachel for the beautiful holiday posts! And all your hard work in the kitchen👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼🙏🏻💗
I didn’t have time this year to answer! Didn’t see this until 2 days after Thanksgiving. Love your beautiful pics, Rachel.
I’m thankful for life given by God’s grace; both spiritual and physical.
I’m thankful for Jesus, my Savior and the Word of God.
I’m thankful for family and Christian brethren, a wonderful and special gift from God.
I have to agree with your mom; my favorite dish is turkey and gravy, though everything else is just as necessary in its own way. :-)
I spent this year locally with 2 nieces and their husbands, and 9 of their children, and one of their grandmas. It was very special. A good time of food and fellowship.
Hope your day was wonderful and blessed!
Oh, how I love Thanksgiving! It’s such a special day/weekend to rest, reflect on the Father’s gracious blessings, and enjoy some of those in abundance throughout the day!🤗 Thank you so much for your fun post, Rachel!!
-Three things I’m thankful for:
1. the RICH forgiveness that we have from God through Jesus Christ!! That He didn’t leave us where we were, but redeemed us back to Himself! Oh what a GIFT! “For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.” (Romans 6:23)
2. my family!!! Oh where would I be without them! So grateful for the daily fun we have, the accountability + built-in friendships, and for the ways they love me and push me onward to Him!
3. YOU, Rachel!! I am so very grateful for your friendship all these years, and for the continual spurring onward towards Christ and reminder’s of God’s daily FAITHFULness!! And so thankful we finally got to have that visit in-person!!🥰
-I pretty much like the whole Thanksgiving spread, so it’s hard to pick just one.🤭 But let’s say Sweet Potato Casserole!
-I spent the bulk of my Thanksgiving Day at my Grandmom’s house, visiting with uncles, aunts and cousins! It’s been a tradition ALMOST every year of my life, and it’s a sweet blessing that I cherish, knowing it’s a gift!💕
“Blessed be the Lord, Who daily loads us with benefits, the God of our salvation! Selah.” (Psalm 68:19)
