Your words gives light ✨ || Recommended

“The entrance of Your words gives light;
It gives understanding to the simple.”
Psalm 119:130

Hopping over to share something with you that has greatly encouraged me! This Psalms + Proverbs in 31 days reading plan was sent to me back at the end of October and since then I have now gone through it twice. I really cannot recommend it enough! Print off the Reading Plan HERE and let me know if you choose to start it. I will be praying you are blessed by it! 🙏🏼 Once you start… don’t quit. It is worth the effort!! 🙌🏻

“Thy words were found, and I ate them; and Thy word was unto me the joy and rejoicing of mine heart; for I am called by Thy name, O Lord God of hosts.”
Jeremiah 15:16

About Rachel

"Come now, and let us reason together," says the Lord, "Though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be white as snow; though they are red like crimson, they shall be as wool. If you are willing and obedient you shall eat the good of the land; but if you refuse and rebel, you shall be devoured by the sword"; for the mouth of the Lord has spoken." Isaiah 1:18-20

  1. Oh wow, what an awesome plan!! Thank you so much for sharing! I’m definitely going to try doing this along with my other Bible reading plan this month! ❤️

  2. I’m going to see if Joseph can print this off for me. ❤️‍🩹

I spent time in Proverbs 27 this morning…contemplating how a biblical friend is characterised…and seeing the inseparable connection between love and friendship…biblical love, of course!

as newborn babes, desire the pure milk of the word, that you may grow thereby I Peter 2:2

All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, 17that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work. 2 Peter 3:16-17

I realize I need more correction and training in righteousness…which means I need to be giving myself to the Word of God!

Thank you for the encouragement, Barnabas-ette! 😊 Wonder what the feminine form of Barnabas would be…daughter of encouragement?

    1. Love the scripture you shared! Thank you, Rebekah!! ♥️♥️♥️

😅Barnabas-ette. Made me laugh! But it has always been my prayer that I’d be a Barnabas. Acts 4:36 🫶🏻

  3. Also, I have a prayer request for anyone willing to pray. We are 31 weeks pregnant with our 8th baby. We had an ultrasound done because our midwife had some concerns. Baby looks to be beautifully formed in every way. The baby is head down (we had thought maybe breech a few weeks prior), sunny side up (back to my back), with its feet up by their head. And baby had not straightened out for weeks…stays doubled over like that. I feel hiccups and kicks all down low. We did find out that I have more amniotic fluid than is normal…it’s on the high side of normal or the low side of abnormal, depending on how you view it. If baby does not straighten out and turn around, we can run into some possible complications… And if we need to, we will absolutely transport. I’m really hoping we don’t have to. Earlier on in this pregnancy the Lord gave me this verse –

Shall I bring to the birth, and not cause to bring forth? saith the LORD: shall I cause to bring forth, and shut the womb? saith thy God.
    Isaiah 66:9

I’m not terribly anxious about the situation… And I am looking forward to how the Lord will work this situation out.

Thank you to anyone in advance who is willing to pray. 🙏🏼❤️‍🩹🙌🏼

    1. Rebekah, I will also pray that your baby gets into the correct position prior to the birth and that all goes well. I know a father of an unborn who put his mouth close to his wife’s tummy and told the baby to turn and it obeyed his voice! I know of another who got her baby to turn by walking. God grant you wisdom, and I’m so thankful you aren’t anxious about it.

  4. Rachel, thanks for not only posting this wonderful Bible study, but making it printable! I printed it off and will start on March 1st, Lord willing.

I’m looking forward to seeing how the Lord makes each chapter interact in my heart with the others!

    1. I’m so excited to hear you’re going to do it!! Praying it blesses you in a special way!♥️♥️♥️♥️

  5. Hey Rachel! Thanks for the reading plan. I’m going through my yearly chronological Bible reading plan right now, but I love the idea of going through the Psalms and Proverbs every month as well! I’m going to start it come this March. Hope all is well with you and yours.
