Well, here we are! The first week of November has arrived and I am welcoming it heartily. A month filled to the brim with brisk morning walks, thoughtful thanksgivings, delicious mugs of hot cocoa, cozy sweaters, and gorgeous golden leaves. ✨🍂 I don’t know about you but I’m so very excited for this month! 🙌🏻 When one of my favorite blog readers(*waves to Emmi*😁) told me it was high time for a random autumn-themed inspiration post, I thought I’d quickly jump on and do just that. Plus, it gives me a good excuse to say “hello” and wish you all a very happy November.😉🍁 So, this post is dedicated to Emmi and all those who love hints of randomness, bits of eye candy, and a little Autumn inspiration! Psst…. I’d love to hear from YOU! QUESTION: What are you most looking forward to this November? Also, as we enter the month of Thanksgiving, what are a few things YOU are thankful for this week? Make my day by leaving a comment below and letting me know! 🙋🏼♀️
“Rejoice in the Lord, O ye righteous: for praise is comely for the upright.”
Psalm 33:1

“Our soul waiteth for the Lord: He is our help and our shield. For our heart shall rejoice in Him, because we have trusted in his holy name. Let Thy mercy, O Lord, be upon us, according as we hope in Thee.”
Psalm 33:20-22
😍 oh!! Love the fall theme. Hm… most looking forward to the family gatherings happening this November!! And thankful for the cooler weather. 😁
Hi Rachel and Emmi! I love your idea of gathering around the season to say hi to all of us! Rachel, your choice of pictures are so homey and comfortable, as they always are. Thanks so much for taking the time to post. Praying that you and your whole family has a wonderful and blessed holiday season and Thanksgiving Day.
Autumn is such a beautiful time of year! I love the coziness of the season with savory and hearty comfort foods, like stew and chili and pumpkin, not to mention hot drinks. I love sweaters and pictures of gorgeous changing leaves. Florida doesn’t have many trees that change colors–though if we get an early freeze, I have a tree beside my house that changes to reds and golds before the leaves fall. Otherwise, they just turn brown before they fall off.
I haven’t been any place since 2006, for my dad’s funeral, but this year I’m flying north to spend Thanksgiving with my mom and two sisters and their families. I’m nervous about the trip because I have bad motion sickness and I’m an ultimate homebody, but I’m starting to get excited as the time draws nearer. :-)
God bless you all! Have a safe and peaceful Thanksgiving holiday!
Your comment blessed my day!! Thank you, Sheri!!! Oh!! I’m praying you have a lovely trip free of any motion sickness. 🙏🏼♥️🙌🏼
Thanks so much, Rachel!
This week I’m thankful for peace and quiet and good health. God is so gentle and kind, long-suffering and patient. He is worthy of all adoration.
Amen!!💞

🙌🏼🍁 soooooo exciting!!!!!
What a lovely and cheery post Rachel!! 😃 I love all the lovely Autumn pictures and the warm feel of it all.🥰
1 thing I’m looking forward to this month is a home school co-op day, and also having a really sweet elderly guy from our church over for Thanksgiving as well as my Grandparents!🥳
A few things I’m thankful for this week are friends from far away visiting, snail mail that makes me smile, hands that can work and make surprise dresses for my little niece, and lovely phone conversations with friends.🥰
Have a beautiful month and the rest of your year, Rachel!! Keep shining for Christ and encouraging others! 🥰
Caroline!!! So good to hear from you. ☺️🍁 Sounds like you have a lovely month ahead!! Great thanksgivings tooooo!!!🍁👏🏼
What a beautiful verse!
I’m thankful for my husband and children…every one of them…including the one the Lord is knitting together in the secret of my womb. 🥰
I am looking forward to hosting Thanksgiving dinner for my Grandparents, my Dad, and Joseph’s Mother (maybe his Dad and sister and her family too). I’m not particularly excited about all of the company…but it will certainly be a good exercise in loving my enemies. 🤔❤️🩹
I’m thankful for the Church the Lord lead us to earlier this year…it’s been a tremendous blessing to our entire family. Never thought we’d be in a Mennonite congregation…but we seem to have a lot in common…the fellowship is sweet 💕. How good and how pleasant when the brethren feel in unity!
There is really so much to be THANKFUL for… Thank you for encouraging us to count our many blessings and turn our hearts heavenward.
Love in Christ,
Rebekah

What I’m most looking forward to in November is my birthday! (In which I turn 15. Oh shock and horror! I’ll be halfway to thirty)
I’m really thankful for the church we go to. It’s a wonderful church that I have never experienced before. I’m also really thankful for our pastor and his wife. They set a wonderful Godly example to the church.
Love all the fall stuff ;)
HAPPY BIRTHDAY, JANE!!!!!!🥳😍
How is it already half way through November?! I’m looking forward to rainy, cold days filled with baking, hot chai, flannel shirts, warming up by the fireplace and enjoying my down comforter on nights that get cold enough. :)
One thing I’ve been pondering that I am really thankful for is that everything that touches me – mentally, physically, and spiritually – is a part of God’s work in sanctifying me. Everything He allows in my life is directly from His hand and is playing a part in perfecting me for His Kingdom. Wow! <3
Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family!
“Everything He allows in my life is directly from His hand and is playing a part in perfecting me for His Kingdom” AMEN!!!!!!!!!!!!! Thank you for this reminder, Sarah!! 🤗
Thank you!!!!!!! 🥰
