“Then they cry unto the Lord in their trouble, and he bringeth them out of their distresses. He maketh the storm a calm, so that the waves thereof are still. Then are they glad because they be quiet; so he bringeth them unto their desired haven.”
Psalm 107:28-30
What a beautiful and encouraging verse, Rachel!!🥰
So thankful they encouraged you!!!♥️🤗
I understand this from experience.
I’m 70 years-old and can say it took many years to learn the difficult lesson of waiting on God to work things out perfectly. I’m a fixer by nature and want things fixed NOW, but every time I “rolled up my sleeves” and tried to wade into trouble and fix things myself, I only made the situation worse! When I finally started praying about relationship problems, trials, spiritual blunders and life’s heartaches, and leaving the fixing to God, He began to show me how wonderfully powerful and merciful He is at untangling messes and bringing good out of some of the worst things!!
To God alone be all glory and praise!!!
Trusting God’s ability and timing is of great value in so many ways.
Sheri,
Your testimony is so beautiful and the perfect reminder for me. 🙌🏼♥️ Thank you so very much for encouraging me with it today! What you said reminded me of Psalm 46:10:
Be still, and know that I am God;
I will be exalted among the nations,
I will be exalted in the earth!
Love your post!
Thank you!🙌🏼☺️
