Pretty places and spaces always catch my eye! 🤩 When I hear “dream home” I instantly think of a Small country house, away from the hustle and bustle of city life, filled to the brim with airy colors, pretty dishes, and vintage quilts. Maybe one day, Lord willing!! ♥️☺️ And this, my friend, is my very random midnight post which is merely just an excuse to pop in and say “hello” and wish you all a lovely day!🙋🏼♀️
Question!! When you hear “Dream Home” what comes to mind? Perhaps your dream Home would be a cottage on overlooking the sea or a cabin nestled in the mountains? Or?? I’d love to hear in the comment box below!!👇🏼👇🏼

“Unless the LORD builds the house,
those who build it labor in vain.
Unless the LORD watches over the city,
the watchman stays awake in vain.” Psalm 127:1
Ummm… can I come have you decorate my house?!?!?! 😍 Except with a touch of Western added into the country chic look. 🤠
My dream house is a little house in the deep country on a big ranch, with nothing but trees and grasslands and cattle and horses for miles around… little gravel roads and deep creeks and tall trees and waving grass. 💓 God is so so generous and good! 💗
😍😍😍😍 Elisha, love your “touch of western mixed with country chic” style!!! Yes, The Lord is so good and generous!! I think about that every time I look out my back window while doing dishes and see the gorgeous view of the pond, ducks waddling by, cattails blowing in the wind, and vivid blue sky. Today… right now He has filled our life with good things to overflowing. So thankful! ♥️🙌🏼
My dream home would be an English-style ivy-covered cottage with an open beam ceiling in the main living area. A real fireplace and wood flooring would be wonderful! My dream home would be airy and light-filled with lots of quaint multi-paned windows (not the modern plate glass kind). I would be over-the-moon happy with any location that was surrounded by land rather than close neighbors, preferably a mixture of forests and fields with mountains in view. A definite plus would be the addition of a creek or river through the property, a barn with wild blackberry or raspberry vines, and a chicken coop (with chickens, of course.)
My reality is a 2 bedroom, 1-1/2 bath block residential-tract home on an acre of land with trees on three sides of my yard and close neighbors with dogs and parrots that can disrupt tranquility at odd times of the day and night. But I’m thankful to God for my little home. It isn’t a dream house, but it’s mine and it’s paid for, so I’m debt-free.
All things considered, God has greatly blessed me, as it was the very home I prayed for when my brother and his family lived across the street!! I was living with and caring for an invalid Christian sister and had no home of my own. I prayed for the house twice, then forgot about it. Two years later, after my friend died, the house came up for sale. A real estate agent called and asked if I wanted to see a house that had just opened up. (She knew my friend had died and her family had given me 1 month to get out.) When I got out to the house, I discovered to my utter amazement that it was the home I had prayed for!!!
Long story short, the Lord enabled me to buy it using 20 years of savings and a first-time low-income buyer’s grant. Four months after moving in, I paid it off. That was 19 years ago. God gets all the glory, so in a way, it is my “dream home.”
Praise the Lord!!! What a tremendous testimony of His provision for our every need. What a blessing your home is! It is truly you Dream Home. 😍 Sometimes things don’t exactly line up with our “dreams” but they end up far better than we could have ever hoped or imagined!! So thankful for that!
“Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us, Unto him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus throughout all ages, world without end. Amen.” Ephesians 3:11-12

HI SISTER: ME GUSTARIA TENER UNA CABAÑA DE TRONCOS EN LAS MONTAÑAS, CON UNA GRAN CHIMENEA A LEÑA, PISOS DE MADERAS, TODO ESTILO CAMPO, RODEADA DE ARBOLES, PINOS, ESCUCHANDO EL RUIDO DE UN ARROYO A LO LEJOS, ESCUCHANDO EL CANTO DE LOS PAJAROS, NO TENER VECINOS QUE MOLESTEN, VIVIR RODEADA DE LA NATURALEZA JUNTO A MI AMADA FAMILIA, ORO PARA QUE DIOS ALGUN DIA CUMPLA MI DESEO. BENDICIONES DULCE AMIGA.
Your mountain log cabin sounds lovely, Ana!! 😍
Yes, yes!! That cabin in the woods sounds so very peaceful, Ana!! Surrounded by God’s creation, family and tranquility!! Sounds delightful to me, and I love your poetic description of it!🥰
😍 😍 😍 Love your style, Rachel!!!!! YES, old country farmhouse for me! But the real thing…I like the new “farmhouse style”, but going beyond that to the true country home and old little white farmhouse is delightful!🥰 Love your colors, quilts, flowers, wood floors, lots of light, and chickens and gardens outside! Coziness, comfort, family and love – Yes ma’am!! And truly those things are what make a home special. So whatever home(s) the Lord may give me throughout my life, may those special blessings be the tie that make it my “dream home”!!🧡😀
Amen!!!!!🙌🏼🤩😍
