I will tell you what I want…

“I want the will of God! Nothing more, nothing less, nothing else…”

“Teach me to do Thy will; for Thou art my God: Thy spirit is good; lead me into the land of uprightness.” Psalm‬ ‭143:10‬ ‭

“I delight to do Thy will, O my God…” Psalm‬ ‭40:8‬ ‭

“For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of His good pleasure.” Philippians‬ ‭2:13‬ ‭

“Now the God of peace, that brought again from the dead our Lord Jesus, that great shepherd of the sheep, through the blood of the everlasting covenant, Make you perfect in every good work to do his will, working in you that which is wellpleasing in his sight, through Jesus Christ; to whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen.”
Hebrews 13:20-21

About Rachel

"Come now, and let us reason together," says the Lord, "Though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be white as snow; though they are red like crimson, they shall be as wool. If you are willing and obedient you shall eat the good of the land; but if you refuse and rebel, you shall be devoured by the sword"; for the mouth of the Lord has spoken." Isaiah 1:18-20

    1. 💕☺️ It is my pleasure, Natilyn! I’ve been so blessed by them this week that I couldn’t keep them to myself!! 🙋🏼‍♀️

  1. Amen!! What a wonderful thought that God Himself works in us a desire to do His will. (Phil 2:13). Therefore, those that do the will of God are truly His children!

    1. Isn’t that such an amazing truth??☺️ One that has brought me so much peace over and again through the years. So often we can get completely overwhelmed by the choices before us! We find ourselves at a “fork in the road” and, as we earnestly desire the Lord’s will, we have a hard time knowing which direction to take. BUT knowing He works in us to desire His perfect will just lifts so much weight that can come with those “life changing” decisions we all have to make throughout our time here on earth. 🙌🏻

“Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and HE SHALL direct thy paths.” Prov 3

  2. “Teach me to do Thy will; for Thou art my God: Thy spirit is good; lead me into the land of uprightness.” Psalm‬ ‭143:10‬ ‭

I am thankful to be reminded that it is okay for me to ASK the Lord to teach me, to help me to do His will. And although we don’t want to/desire to sin, there is grace and forgiveness for when we do.

My little children, I am writing these things to you so that you will not sin. But if anyone does sin, we have an advocate before the Father—Jesus Christ, the Righteous One. 1 John 2:1

“Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and HE SHALL direct thy paths.” Prov 3

I’m growing in this, as we are looking for a midwife. My own understanding would choose to do what is familiar, but I sense the Lord leading me otherwise. My heart feels a little torn as we’re trying to decide “which way to go”.

Always thankful for your encouragement, Rachel!

    ❤️❤️❤️!

    1. Aw, praise the Lord for another blessing on the way!!! What a joy to know!!! I’m praying for you, Rebekah! That the Lord would direct yours steps when it comes to choosing a midwife and that you’d have peace in the process.🙏🏼♥️

“For I the LORD thy God will hold thy right hand, saying unto thee, Fear not; I will help thee.”
      ‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭41:13‬ ‭

  3. Amen!!🙏🥰 What a beautiful post of encouragement, Rachel.🙏💮 🤗 ❤

But let him who glories glory in this,That he understands and knows Me, That I am the Lord, exercising lovingkindness, judgment, and righteousness in the earth. For in these I delight,” says the Lord.Jeremiah 9:24💮

    1. Caroline, that verse from Isaiah is amazing!!! So thankful that The Lord God exercises His lovingkindness toward us!!! Thank you for your encouraging comment. ☺️💕🤗
