May I have your attention please… 🎤 * taps on microphone * Today, we celebrate a very special day…🙊 today is THE Shepherdess’s BIRTHDAY!!! 🎉🎉🎉 Okay, for those who have no idea who The Shepherdess is, let me rewind and do some explaining. Today is GRACE’S birthday!! 🥳 Over this past year, she’s done some changin’ folks. Crazy as it may sound, this fashionista-sister of mine traded in her diamond-studded sandals and city wardrobe for a pair of rubber boots, utility vest, and an orange visor.😯 “When did this happen” you ask? It all happened the day she fell in love with pasture management, rotational grazing, and high voltage electric fencing😉🙊 taking on the role as shepherdess to her gorgeous and growing Dorper Sheep flock! Yes, crazy things are happening y’all.😂 Phew, that would explain her new title! 💁🏼♀️Kinda like Little Bo Peep but(Thankfully) she doesn’t usually lose her sheep! 😜😅 Okay, can we move forward? Time to learn a little more about this beautiful birthday lady!! 🙌🏻 Grace is known for her hyper-entrepreneurial business-savvy spirit! She takes on any task[even the dirtiest of jobs] with scholarly enthusiasm as she sees it through to the finish. She’s a list-maker, goal-setter, go-getter who is always committing her way to the Lord.♥️ Grace is faithful, gracious, witty, and super encouraging. She also happens to be well diversified in her skill-sets! She’s a professional shoemaker, pasture manager, grazier, online marketer, farming influencer, videographer, and slider maker.😉 Y’all, in the strength of the Lord and His grace, she does it all, and today I am so excited to get to celebrate her ALL DAY LONG!🎉 Happy Birthday, Grace! I am soooooo thankful for your daily encouragement and faithful sisterhood. I also love the pictures; especially the one of you in front of the waterfall, and the last (bottom) picture of you with the sheep!!! (Before I read Rachel’s commentary about you, I was actually thinking that the dress looked like something a shepherdess might wear!) I didn’t notice the sheep nestled in the grass of the top picture, but maybe my brain registered them without my knowledge. ;-) In any case, I was pleasantly surprised when I discovered the sheep. Beautiful!
The pop of the orange colored visor in the first picture with the sheep is nice too; very artistic, but my personal favorite is the pose, purity and simplicity of the bottom picture.
