Y’all!! 😅🙈 It has most definitely been one of the busiest Novembers here and I have so missed my random sometimes frequent blog posting. How have you all been? Here we are just 1 week away from Thanksgiving which just happens to be my favorite holiday! That means it’s time for my 1 week countdown filled with Blessin’ Countin’ here on the blog. 😍 How it works: Each day I will be posting 5 thanksgiving here all the way through Thanksgiving Day aaaand I would love to have you join along by posting your 5(or more)thanksgivings each day in the comment box below…. big or “small”, I want to hear them all!!👏🏻👏🏻 We will have a lovely time praising the Lord for His goodness and celebrating Thanksgiving together. 😄🧡🍂 One of my favorite verses for this season is Hebrews 13:14 as it says, “By Him therefore let us offer the sacrifice of praise to God continually, that is, the fruit of our lips giving thanks to His name.” So, will you join me in giving thanks to His name??🙌🏻 Blessin’ countin’ blog posts start…. NOW! 🎉🎉

5 Thanksgiving for the day:

1.) First and formost for the salvation that comes through Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior!! “Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.” Acts 4:12
2.) For my family! They are a daily blessing from the Lord and I am so grateful for each member.
3.) For the Lord giving me this blog and the ability to share His goodness on it!
4.) For each friend I’ve made through this blog. YOU ALL bless me so much!!
5.) And last but not least…. For CAROLINE and her thoughtfulness! The loveliest floral package found its way to my mailbox today and was such a surprise(how I love postal surprises💌😍🙌🏻). “What was inside??” you may be wondering. 😊 An extremely thought-filled gift! Caroline is the master of hand lettering and knew I was interested in learning. So she sent me a few of her favorite hand-lettering tools with an encouraging note included. WOW! What a huge daymaker!! 🥰 Though we’ve never met in person, Caroline has been a sweet encouragement and blessing in my life and I thank the Lord for her! Thank you, Caroline.🧡 The Lord has used your act of kindness to bless me in a very special way! 😊

“Let us come before His presence with thanksgiving, and make a joyful noise unto him with psalms.”
Psalm 95:2

About Rachel

"Come now, and let us reason together," says the Lord, "Though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be white as snow; though they are red like crimson, they shall be as wool. If you are willing and obedient you shall eat the good of the land; but if you refuse and rebel, you shall be devoured by the sword"; for the mouth of the Lord has spoken." Isaiah 1:18-20

  1. 🤩 Rachel! You’re back….. With such a wonderful encouraging post! 😍 Loved the beautiful verses you shared, and your thanksgivings!!!! Here are mine……

1). I am SO thankful that, even in the hardest of moments, the Lord is always ALWAYS there for me, and will always give me the strength and grace to make it through each challenge- big or small! SUCH a blessing!!
2). I am thankful for a home with wonderful, loving, Cristian parents and sister! Y’all, my family is amazing, and I couldn’t have asked for a better one! So thankful to the Lord for them!
3). I am thankful that the Lord can and does use each challenge we face as a way to bring us closer to Him!
4). I am thankful for the walks I get to take with my Mom!!!! My mom is such a good listener, and it’s so nice to have some quiet time with just her around! 😍
5). I am thankful for each friend that is so faithful to remind me of the Lord’s goodness through sending me Bible verses and praying for me!!! THAT is one of the most wonderful blessings I could ever have!!!
6). Last, but not even close to least…. I am so, SO thankful for you, Rachel!!! You are such a good listener, and are always making a special effort to be an encouragement to me!! It means SO much more to me than I can express when you pray for me, and I am TENDENTIOUSLY blessed by you!!! 💖🙌🏻

Oh, yes….. And I am also thankful for God’s Word, and this passage that HE has used to encourage me today:

“This I recall to my mind, therefore have I hope. It is of the Lord’s mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not. They are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness. The Lord is my portion, saith my soul; therefore will I hope in him. The Lord is good unto them that wait for him, to the soul that seeketh him. It is good that a man should both hope and quietly wait for the salvation of the Lord.”Lamentations 3:21‭-‬26

    1. Aw, thank you Anna!! 🥰 It feel great to be back.🙌🏻 OH! I was so blessed by your thanksgivings!! Yes. Amen to #1. Your #3 reminds of Hebrews 12 where it says:

“Now no chastening for the present seemeth to be joyous, but grievous: nevertheless afterward it yieldeth the peaceable fruit of righteousness unto them which are exercised thereby.”Hebrews‬ ‭12:11‬ ‭🙏

😁 honored to be included in #6!! Praise the Lord. So thankful to be your friend and sister in Christ!! 👏🏼🤗🧡

Oh!! Love that portion from Lamentations. It’s one I’ve been thinking about a lot lately. “Therefore I have HOPE”!! We are not left hopeless, praise God!! 😊The Lord is our portion, we can and should continually hope in Him. 💗 Loved your list of Thanksgivings!! Thank you for joining the thanksgiving fun!😁

“But I will hope continually, and will yet praise thee more and more. My mouth shall shew forth thy righteousness and thy salvation all the day; for I know not the numbers thereof. I will go in the strength of the Lord God: I will make mention of thy righteousness, even of thine only.”Psalms‬ ‭71:14-16‬ ‭

    2. Anna, the Lamentations verses that you shared were on my heart today. I texted them to Rachel about an hour ago! I just now opened Rachel’s email, and found your post! :)

      1. Oh, that’s awesome!!! It’s always so neat to hear when someone has had the same verses on their heart as me!💖

  2. 1. I’m so grateful that God’s mercies are new every morning! Great is His faithfulness! (Lamentations 3:21-26)
    2. I’m grateful for the comforting presence of the Holy Spirit, my most wonderful companion!!!
    3. I’m grateful for the Lord Jesus Christ, Who took my place willingly on the cross to die for me, then in the fullness of time, He sought me out, one of His lost sheep, and drew me to Himself in love. I’m thankful that He showed me my sins against a Holy God, but didn’t leave me there to despair. I’m eternally grateful that God opened my eyes to see Jesus hanging on the cross in my place, and gave me the gift of faith to believe in the saving efficacy of the only begotten Son of the living God. Praise His Holy Name!!
    4. I’m grateful for the small things, like a new garnet-colored bedspread with pillow shams. It’s the first new bedspread I’ve had in about 34 years! I’ve been wanting to replace my old, frayed white bedspread for years. Silly, I know, but when you wait that long for something, no matter how simple, it’s a joy to finally get or achieve.
    5. I’m grateful for brethren, both far and near! Oh, my, how important all my Christian brothers and sisters are to me!!

I could go on and on! Those are the first 5 that came to mind.

Caroline, I love what you pinned on the card that Rachel is holding! “…it is gratitude that makes us joyful.” How very true that is!!!!! If we will praise God in everything, like He tells us to, we would always be filled with joy!!! How amazing is that??!! Joy and peace don’t always come immediately because we sometimes have great trials of our faith, or great sorrows and burdens, but the joy does come when we obey and leave the results of our trials to Him. Obedience to praise Him brings joy and peace, and God ultimately blesses us when we trust Him!

    1. I love your thanksgivings, Sheri! What encouragements they are. THANK YOU! You know, I was thinking about #2 before your comment came in. John 14:16 had come to mind when I was reading Psalm 73(specifically verse 25)! “And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever” . Praise the Lord! 😊🙌🏻

That new bedspread sounds gorgeous!!!!😍♥️ So sooo happy for you. I don’t think it is silly at all!! It’s a gift from God and worth rejoicing in!!!😊

Amen, I love what you shared regarding joy. Thank you for blessing our hearts with your comment today!!!!

      1. Rachel, that was exactly the verse that I was thinking of when I wrote my #2 praise! I forgot to include it. So, you and Anna both had verses that blessed me at the same time!! I love it when the Holy Spirit melds together the hearts of His children through His Word! Only He could do that so perfectly!!

  3. Aww… Rachel, It was a GREAT pleasure to make that package up for you and I had SOO much fun making it up and sending it out!!
It truly is more blessed to give than to receive and It gives me such happiness to give gifts to people esp. meaningful gifts because I know how much I like meaningful gifts. 😊🙂😊You have been a huge blessing in my life and have blessed me in so many ways and I’m SOO very glad that a friend told me about your blog and the SPRING100!!!!! Oh! I love all your thanksgivings. Especially #5!!! Praise the Lord for God-fearing parents and fathers who are leading their children in the way of the Lord. We are so truly blessed to have fathers who love us!! And a heavenly Father who shows them how to love us. Even with all our quirks and even when we make mistakes!🤗

“As far as the east is from the west, so far hath he removed our transgressions from us. Like as a father pitieth his children, so the Lord pitieth them that fear him.” Ps 103:12-13

SO happy to have you join in the Thanksgiving countdown, Caroline!
