๐๐ผโโ๏ธ Y’all… it’s Wednesday!!!!๐๐๐ป You know what that means. Random Question Wednesday is HERE! Before I jump in I would like to share a verse that has been encouraging my heart today. It is Nahum 1:3, “The LORD is slow to anger, and great in power, and will not at all acquit the wicked: the LORD hath His way in the whirlwind and in the storm, and the clouds are the dust of His feet.” How is that for amazing truth?!The Lord God has His way! Reminds me of Job 42:2 as it says, “I know that Thou canst do every thing, and that no thought can be withholden from Thee.” or as one translation reads, “no purpose of yours can be thwarted.” Praise the Lord, we can rest confident in that truth! ๐๐ผ๐๐ป๐งก

“Thine, O Lord is the greatness, and the power, and the glory, and the victory, and the majesty: for all that is in the heaven and in the earth is thine; thine is the kingdom, O Lord, and thou art exalted as head above all. Both riches and honour come of thee, and thou reignest over all; and in thine hand is power and might; and in thine hand it is to make great, and to give strength unto all.”
1 Chronicle 29:11-12
Ooooh!!!! Theresa are some FUN questions!!!
1). Definitely baking!!!! Although if the power goes out, I’ll usually crochet ๐
2). I would say I’m an introverted extrovert…… I can tend to be decently talkative and outgoing around people that I know well, but I’m really shy and not talkative at all towards people that I don’t know very well ๐
3). Hmm…… One skill I use a lot is writing in cursive, and another one I use all the time is baking! ๐๐
I will much rather hike a the Grand Canyon…… Honestly, I’m a scaredy cat when it comes to being around things like ponds, lakes, and Oceans ๐
๐ Instaham!!!!!๐๐๐ Love it! And the seal of approval is absolutely adorable! ๐
Thank you so much for the encouraging verses you shared! They were a blessing to me today! ๐๐
I guessed the first 2 about you before you left your answer! ๐๐๐งก You know, I would have never considered cursive but itโs true!! So thankful to have that skill too. ๐
Hehe, isnโt the Instaham cute?!!! ๐๐ท thank you so much for making my day with your comment, Anna!!!๐๐ผโโ๏ธ๐
1) Baking, reading, napping, or hand lettering
2) INTROVERT
3)Tying my shoes๐
I think I would rather hike the Grand Canyon?! I’m not sure tho๐ค
Really fun questions as always, Rachel!๐
๐คฃ๐tying your shoes is definitely a much used skill! ๐งก๐ Laughed over that!!
Thanks Abigail!! So glad you enjoyed that. ๐
1. Reading a book with a cup of hot cocoa
2. Extrovert
3. Loving washing dishes. They never do seem to go away, no matter how old I get! So Iโm grateful I enjoy washing them. :)
Iโm not a major hiker, tho I do enjoy moderate hikes… BUT I get sea sick, so definitely Grand Canyon over the ocean! The idea of sailing sounds wonderful, but in reality, for me itโs not fun. :(
๐ฑ๐ I thought I was the only one who loved washing dishes!!!! Loved your answers, Elisha. Thank you for taking time to comment!! โบ๏ธ
I love washing dishes too! My dad was a good example. He would often volunteer to wash the dishes.
I wash dishes every day and it’s one of my favorite chores๐
1.) I would probably spend a rainy day working on projects on my computer and listening to a story.
2.) I tend to be an introvert, but I do enjoy spending time with other people.
3.) Reading and writing! I’m thankful to have been taught these by my amazing Mom!! <3
I would rather hike the Grand Canyon!! That is something my brother and sister and I have wanted to do for awhile.
Thank you for the fun post, Rachel! I loved the verse you shared about how God is slow to anger, but He does still punish evil. He is the perfect balance of mercy and justice!!
Arenโt we blessed to have moms (and dads!!) who invested in teaching us skills at an early age?!!! So thankful.
Yes! Amen. He truly is the perfect balance of mercy and justice!! I always think of Psalm 85:10 when I think of that balance:
โMercy and truth are met together; righteousness and peace have kissed each other.โ

Loved seeing your answers, Bethany!! Thank you for taking time to answer. ๐
1. Rain usually comes and goes in a hurry in Florida, so life normally doesn’t change for me when it rains. But when a storm occasionally decides to stay awhile, I read my Bible on my iPhone if there’s thunder, or get on my computer if there isn’t any lightning. There is something homey and soothing about stormy weather for me. I love the sound of rain!
2. I think very few people are one type or the other exclusively. Extroverts and introverts can change, depending upon their circumstances. I love to spend time alone, but I also enjoy being with people that I know. I need my brethren and family, and have no difficulty talking to strangers. And I don’t mind talking before a crowd. I’m actually an ambivert. (Both types.)
3. This question is kind-of funny! There are SOOO MANY things that we learn as children that we use our whole lives. I love what has been shared by Anna, Abigail, Elisha and Bethany! So fun! I’m going to say, I learned how to keep secrets after I told my brother what he was getting for his birthday. I cried when my mom told me I had ruined his surprise. I never did that again to anyone. I also learned not to steal after that same brother made me confess to a cashier that I had stolen two candy bars, one for him and one for me. The clerk scolded me soundly and made me put the candy back. I was mortified. I still bless my brother for that wonderful life-lesson!! I wish I could say that I never stole another thing, but I took a ring from a store when I was a teenager. The memory still pains me, though I know I’m forgiven. By the grace of God, both of those childhood lessons, I cherish and use today.
4. Oooh, I’m with Elisha on this one! I get motion sickness really bad, and I love to hike, so it’s a no-brainer for me. Grand Canyon, anyone? Let’s go!
Thanks again, Rachel, and to any of your family that might have collaborated with you on the questions! Also, I love your whimsical pictures!
Yes, I agree about how we are all mixes of introvert and exrovert, and it can change. My brother was very much an introvert when he was young, but having his own business and then becoming a missionary really changed him. You have to be around people on the mission field! ๐ On the other hand, I used to be more of an extrovert until I had health problems that made me most enjoy staying home with my family.
The lessons you shared from your childhood we’re really good and important lessons to learn.
Thank you for being a faithful blog commenter! I enjoy reading your comments.
Iโve never heard the word ambivert before! Fun!! I do agree, not many are just one. And I do think as the Lord calls us to practice hospitality, serve others, and live sacrificially those of us who lean more toward the introverted side are called to put on a little extrovert. ๐๐งก
Your answer to #3! Wow, praise the Lord for those lessons learned young. ๐๐
Thank you for taking time to give us such thoughtful answers, Sheri!! Blessed by your comment. ๐๐
Great questions, Rachel!!
1) I love to spend rainy days playing Mission Risk with my siblings!
2) Introvert. :)
3) I learned how to sew when I was around 8, and now I am getting ready to start my own quilting business!
I would rather hike the Grand Canyon! That sounds like so much fun and I know the view would be AMAZING!
Here is my random question:
What is your favorite style of music to listen to, and who are some of your favorite artists?
Sewing is such a great skill to have learned young and enjoy!! ๐๐ป๐งต
I thinking hiking the Grand Canyon would be a fabulous opportunity! I hiked a bit of the rim way long ago and the views are breathtaking. ๐
โWhat is your favorite style of music to listen to, and who are some of your favorite artists?โ Ooh!! Great question!! And hard to answer. I am pretty โtraditionโ or conservative in the music I listen to so classic hymns are my favorite! I love Celtic style playing and some bluegrass style playing of hymns too. ๐ It is hard to give artist names because most the music I listen to was recorded several years ago is played on a online radio app called BBNradio.org and they donโt give the artist names. ๐ But for those which I do know, BJU Singers & Orchestra and steve pettit evangelistic team are 2 of my favorite!
Listening to this one right now:

Loved your answers and questions, Sarah!!! Thank you.๐๐
What a beautiful, God-honoring song! Thanks for sharing it with us, Rachel!! I just added it to my Likes on YouTube. :-)
I like to spend rainy days hand-lettering, writing letters and listening to good music!! ๐๐
I would definitely say I am an Extrovert!!!!!!!! I’ve taken a test at 16personalities.com that told me I was an Extrovert but that’s NOT the only reason that I would say I’m an extrovert!!…. I’ve read a LOT about introverts and extroverts and personalities and different personality types and I’m definitely an extrovert!!! I LOVE being with people, though I can be kind of shy at times around complete strangers…. Covid has been a challenge for me because I can’t be with all my friends and visit them etc. and I LOVE doing that so it’s been kind of sad but thankfully since I live in a large family I can still have lots of people around me!! ๐๐๐๐๐๐
A skill I learned when I was young is sewing and that has been a really good and helpful and useful skill for me to know!!! I’ve sewed a lot of my own clothes and just last week sewed 3 dresses for 2 of my younger sisters!!! ๐๐๐ I enjoy sewing a lot!!! ๐๐๐
I’ve only ever once been on a small boat and I don’t remember it very well so I would probably say that I would rather hike the Grand Canyon!! I was there once when I was very little with my family but I don’t remember it….
I LOVED the Seal of Approval!!! SOOO cute!!!!!!!! ๐๐๐ I loved all the other pictures as well!! ๐๐๐
Here are a few questions!!!
Do you enjoy researching and following politics?
What is your favorite apple dessert??
What is your favorite time period in History???
I loved the verses you shared esp.1 Chronicle 29:11-12. I love those verses!!
Have a fantastic day everyone!!!๐๐๐๐๐
LOOOOOVE your energetic comments, Caroline!!! And all the answers. ๐๐๐ปI would have guessed you were an extrovert!! I love it. ๐
Way to go on those sewing projects!!!! I bet the dresses turned out wonderfully. ๐งก
Isnโt the โSeal of approvalโ toooo cute?! ๐
Oh!! Very good questions. ๐๐ผ๐ Letโs see if I can get them answered!
Do you enjoy researching and following politics? Honestly. Not really! ๐๐ How about you?????
What is your favorite apple dessert?? Oh! Caramel Apple Pie Bars!!!!!!๐คฉ
What is your favorite time period in History??? You know, Iโve never even thought about this before but Iโd have to say I very much enjoy the fashion and architecture of the Edwardian era! It is an era I wouldnโt mind going back to for a long visit. ๐
Thank you for blessing me with your comment, Caroline!!!!! ๐ฅฐ Happy Friday!!
Hi, Caroline! Fun questions!
Politics? I’m not normally interested in politics, except before elections, then I research amendments and candidates so that I can vote responsibly and conservatively.
Favorite apple dessert? I buy natural peanut butter (the kind you have to stir), stir it well, then add raw honey and blackstrap molasses, and stir it again after adding each. The molasses caramelizes the peanut butter and the honey sweetens it. I eat the peanut butter mixture with apple slices! (If it gets dry towards the bottom when it’s nearly gone, I add a bit of cold-pressed coconut oil and stir.)
Favorite time period? I would have to say it’s right now! The world we live in is sometimes difficult, tense, and even scary at times, but it is also exciting. It is so good to be alive! With the sinful condition of the world, it feels more and more like the return of Christ is imminent, and that is an amazing thought!! “Even so, come Lord Jesus!” Rev. 22:20
Hi, to you too Shericlaude!!!
Yummy!! Your favorite apple dessert sounds yummy!! :) We buy natural Peanut butter as well (and raw honey and blackstrap molasses!) and yes, it can be quite a challenge to stir natural peanut butter all properly esp. the stuff down in the bottom of the jar!! XD :) ;D
I’ve never tried those 3 ingredients together or on apples…. (I’ve had peanut butter on apples lots of times though!!) ….I’ll have to try it sometime!!! We definitely have plenty of apples to try it on!! :) :D :)
Hey Rachel!! :) :D :)
Sorry it’s been a few days!! Our internet has been out for several days so I couldn’t reply to your question…
So. In answer to your question ”Do you enjoy researching and following politics?” I like being informed about what is going on in the world and my Daddy really likes to research news and he has a twitter account and all of us older kids read it so that we know what is going on in the world and we often will discuss politics etc. with Daddy and each other at the table when eating, so I like being informed about them but I’m not sure that I would really enjoy researching and following them by myself because I might read something that isn’t true and think it was true so I am quite content to let my Daddy research them for now!! But we have REALLY good discussions about politics and I’m learning quite a lot esp. since last election I was not really interested in politics and what was going on in the world and I would hear my older siblings talking about the election and would be kind of confused but now I’m more interested in politics and I’ve learned so much more about how they work etc.!!!
Yes!! I like the Edwardian era a lot as well!!! :) :D :)
(for some reason the emojis are not working right now!!) :(
Btw. One more question. :)
Are YOU more extroverted or more introverted??? :) :D :)
Happy Tuesday to you!!!! :) :D :)
I enjoyed your answer, Caroline!! :) Good for you all staying caught up and aware of the current political climate. Reminds me of 1 Cor 16:13, “Watch ye, stand fast in the faith, quit you like men, be strong.”
“Are YOU more extroverted or more introverted???” I am an introvert who is working on strengthening her “extrovert muscle”! ๐โค๏ธ
Happy Wednesday, Caroline!!!!!!!!
Oh really?!?๐ถ๐๐ฎ๐๐ I think I would have guessed that you were an extrovert….I mean, I guess it’s easier to be more extroverted online sometimes than in person but I would say then that you are pretty good at being extroverted!! ๐๐๐๐
One of my older sisters is an Introvert but she is really good at also being pretty extroverted and I used to think that there was no way she could be an introvert, but she is and I can definitely tell that now that I’m older and have done more research about introverts and extroverts. ๐๐๐๐
๐๐งก It would probably depend on your definition of an introvert! ๐ค I usually classify myself as an “extroverted introvert”๐ as I prefer cozy evenings at home, would rather a quiet dinner with family over a noisy party or large social gathering, etc. BUT at the same time when I get into crowds I am super energetic and lively. When I was young I was painfully shy to the point of appearing rude but thank the Lord, He has helped me to overcome and though at times I still feel twinges of shyness in unfamiliar settings and new people, I am able to overcome by His strength! :D SO, yes! I think I understand your older sister’s personality type.๐ ๐
๐๐๐
Oops! that wasn’t supposed to send yet!!! ๐ฎ๐ถ๐
Yeah. you sound a LOT like my older sister!!!! ๐๐๐
