A special day…✨🥳

🎉🎉 HipHipHoooray… today’s a VERY special day! 🎉🎉 This post would have been published at 12 am sharp but Hurricane Laura sent her rain our way and postponed a Birthday Photoshoot until today. Yep, you read that right, we have a birthday to celebrate!!! Today we celebrate Rebekah and her 12 years of life! 🥳 Let me tell y’all something, this gorgeous lady adds a HUGE dose of sparkle to our lives and I can’t imagine a happier day to observe than her Birthday.✨ Rebekah is our in-house fashion advisor, encourager, and chocolate chip cookie baker[y’all, she can whip up a triple batch of her famous cookies in a heartbeat!😍] Among many of her growing hobbies + daily tasks, Bekah enjoys reading, knitting, keeping in touch with sweet pen-pal friends, helping with the farmyard needs, trying out new pinterest hairstyles on Emmi😉, swimming, and almost any outdoor activity! She’s also been one of my main and very patient photography subjects over the year[what can I say, the camera loves her! 😘] This gal has blessed me over and over again with her kindness, encouragement, and sisterhood and today I am beyond thrilled to be celebrating her!! Happy Birthday, Rebekah🥳. I thank the Lord for YOU!!     Lovely pictures, and another stunning birthday-shoot location, Rachel!! Wow! (The picture with the gray and white-dotted wall behind Rebekah would look wonderful enlarged and cut to fit an oval frame, as a bust portrait!)

    Rachel, I appreciate how you show love to your family, with positive and uplifting compliments! It is a humble, Christian example of building up others, rather than self. It’s just too easy for us (because of our struggle with pride) to say bad things about others, especially behind their backs. Oh, to focus on the good, and the strengths, of others! To be Christlike, gentle and long-suffering!

    1. Aw, thank you for your sweet encouragement, Sheri. All I can say is praise the Lord God and Him only! It is His work in me and nothing of my own doing. One of my favorite verses that sums up what I am trying to say so well is Psalm 115:1, “Not unto us, O Lord, not unto us, but unto THY name give glory, for Thy mercy, and for Thy truth’s sake.” ❤️🙏🏼 So thankful for His mercy. May He alone be praised!

      1. Amen! That’s so true! God should get all the praise for anything good in us, for it truly IS HIM shining through us; we are merely the vessels that He fashions and polishes for His use. Then we mirror Him to the world.

        I struggled with the wording for a long time, not wanting to seem like I was flattering you. I almost deleted it a couple of times, but finally sent it as an honest thanks for what was blessing my heart. :-)
