Thankful for Farm fresh eggs and fluffy little chicks! ?? Sweet sisters and Sunny days. For the Salvation given through Jesus Christ our Lord and His matchless grace wherein I stand! “Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ: By whom also we have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God.” Romans 5:2-3! Countin’ my blessings as I clean the freshly laid eggs!?? Y’all, its a lovely sight to see these come in from the hen house. ??? Truly worth thanking the Lord for! Have a thanksgiving? Big or small, I want to hear them all! What are YOU thankful to the Lord for today?? Leave a comment and let me know! ❤️
“In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.”1 Thessalonians 5:18
“I will bless the Lord at all times: HIS praise shall continually be in my mouth. My soul shall make her boast in the Lord: the humble shall hear thereof, and be glad. O magnify the Lord with me, and let us exalt HIS name together.”
Psalm 34:1-4
I am thankful for: A church with people that are goodly examples to me; parents that are leading me in the way a Christian should go; my sister, who is caring to me; my kitten; Christ’s love for his people, and the salvation He gives us; five years with no signs of a brain tumor; recovering from two brain surgeries with only small “side effects”; a good home with good neighbors; people who are godly examples to me, and encourage me with every struggle; and so many more!!!!!
Thank you so much for your encouraging posts! You are a huge blessing to me, and others as well!
?a church with people who are GODLY examples…
Amen! Oooooohhhhh….. I love ever single one of these thanksgiving. ?✨ “parents that are leading me in the way a Christian should go” PRAISE THE LORD for God-fearing parents. I will second that thanksgiving! ???
Aw, thank you for being an encouragement, Anne! All glory to the Lord God. “Not unto us, O Lord, not unto us, but unto thy name give glory, for thy mercy, and for thy truth’s sake.”!! Ps 115:1
Psalms 105:1
O give thanks unto the Lord; call upon his name: make known his deeds among the people.
Revelation of John 4:11
Thou art worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honour and power: for thou hast created all things, and for thy pleasure they are and were created.
I’m also very thankful for the Word of God…. And the people that daily remind me of it when I’m struggling with various things. ?
I’m thankful for the privilege of having God’s presence every day, that I can talk to Him about anything and everything, and that He cares enough to direct my steps!!!! We serve an amazing God!!
Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths. Proverbs 3:5-6
I’m also very thankful for my family and spring weather and flowers!! :)
Amen, we truly do serve an amazing faithful God! Your comment reminded me of Hebrews 13:5 where it says, “…be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee.” With the Lord continually with us, leading us, guiding us, and strengthening us, we have no want for any good thing! He is our All in ALL! ?✨
Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.-Is 41:10
Hehe, thankful for those too!! The weather has been so nice the past few days, hasn’t it?! ?
I’m thankful for the Lord patiently teaching me to have a thankful heart. It isn’t always easy to be thankful for the things that hurt or that I don’t understand, but it is impossible to please God without faith, and faith is equal to trust, and trust produces a thankful heart. So, I’m thankful for thankfulness, if that makes sense. Contentment, happiness, joy, trust, peace in the midst of storms. I’m thankful for the little things, like the loaf of bread that’s baking in my oven and smells wonderful! For God’s love, protection, Word, salvation, patience, guidance, and His Presence in my life!
Yes, Sheri! ❤️❤️❤️ That makes perfect and complete sense. I am so thankful for thankfulness too!!! Your beautiful comment reminded me a Romans 5 where it says:
Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ:
And not only so, but we glory in tribulations also: knowing that tribulation worketh patience; And patience, experience; and experience, hope:
And hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us.
To glory/give thanks in the storm knowing it promises a good work in us! I love how it says in James 1 “count it ALL JOY when ye fall into divers temptations knowing that the testing of your faith produces patience.” Praise the Lord!!!?
Amen and amen, Rachel!!!! I love how scripture flows from you! :-)
Rachel, Anna and Bethany, I loved your comments of thanks to God! We honor Him when we praise Him!
Anna, in 6 months I will be 5 years without cancer, so I can totally relate to what you said!!!! Praise God for your recovery!
Sheri, praise the Lord! I’m so glad you’ve recovered from cancer! On April 14, it was five years since my first surgery! ?
Praise the Lord for His gentle hand in our lives! You and I were going through physical trials at the same time. I had an operation for cancer in 2014, and 12 weeks of radiation for a second cancer in 2015. I’m thankful for the experience of viewing death close up. God used it to teach me to lean on Him for my strength and courage, and taught me that material things don’t matter as much as we sometimes think they do. :-)
Praise the Lord, Sheri! That’s wonderful! ?
