Wow, we are so extremely close to the finish line! Just 10 days to go.??? So many of you have finished your 100 miles and are waiting to cheer on fellow Spring100ers who are approaching the finish line. THANK YOU!! I have even heard many of your are doing extra miles just to encourage family members who have yet to cross the finish line forward!! That means so much. Many others are persevering and pushing themselves, overcoming huge obstacles, accomplishing LOTS of miles to cross the finish line 100 miles strong. You are all doing such a fabulous job, KEEP IT UP!! ?? You are ALMOST THERE!! ? I am praying the Lord would give all those who have yet to finish extra strength and grace to cross that finish line on time!! It is the Lord who gives us strength and grace to accomplish what many call “impossible”. “For with God nothing will be impossible.” Luke 1:37! About Rachel

"Come now, and let us reason together," says the Lord, "Though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be white as snow; though they are red like crimson, they shall be as wool. If you are willing and obedient you shall eat the good of the land; but if you refuse and rebel, you shall be devoured by the sword"; for the mouth of the Lord has spoken." Isaiah 1:18-20

  1. I do hope to continue walking. Though the past few weeks have taken some unexpected turns, I love walking in the morning as my time with the Lord and being outdoors. I have found walking very beneficial in helping me learn more as I study, and I hope to continue to do so in the future.
Got to catch up now those miles I’ve missed soon though ?
Congratulations to y’all who have finished! Good work ??

    1. Life does have its unexpected turns doesn’t it?! So thankful that the Lord directs our steps through it all. ☺️? You are doing a fabulous job, Tisha!!???

  2. The last stretch of the Spring 100 “race” is in sight!! I’m enjoying the pictures and participation as people keep right on going! ???

  3. I will continue walking. Goal is to hike a mountain trail once a week. We (Evelyn, Edna and I) have several green belts, state and city parks close by for convenient easy walking. The challenge may be completed but we will have to motivate and encourage each other to get outside and track our miles. Thank you Rachel for another fun physical and spiritual challenge!

    1. Thank you, Sharon! You have been Suchy a faithful encouragement over the years. I am truly blessed by you! ☺️?

  4. The Lord willing, Gita and I will continue our walks as long as we are able. Gita turned 98 years old last Wednesday! So far this Spring100, (if we are able to walk 3 miles tonight) my amazing friend has logged 235 miles! She has bested me by 40 miles. :)

It was such a blessing to see the seated lady among the Fuhrmann family! We love seeing our brethren around the world; the modesty, the smiles, the unity of joy among us all, and I think Gita will be especially delighted to see that she has another “peer compatriot” walking with her.

    1. Gita is such an inspiration! So thankful you two joined this year. It’s been a tremendous blessing having you!! ?☺️

  5. I will most certainly keep walking as long as I can. I don’t think I will be treating myself in any particular way after this is over. I walk a lot anyway, so it’s nothing new for me. : )

  6. I am going to try to continue walking once the Spring100 is over. Hopefully I’ll have a good habit built up that will going once the motivation to get miles is gone. I’ve had fun getting my miles and am excited already for next year! I don’t know what treat I’ll have after its over…

  7. I will continue to run after this is over. The end of the tunnel is in view; only 7 miles left! Yahoo! My treat after finishing this will be all my family and friends giving me a high five. They are my best encouragers!

  8. I will definitely keep walking – the morning walks alone with the Lord and special sister/friend times have been priceless. Thank you so much for inspiring all this and turning our thoughts to the Lord, Rachel! I still think of that memory passage from Proverbs 4:27 “turn your foot away from evil” and saw a cross-reference to that in 1 Peter 3:10b yesterday! “Let him turn away from evil and do good, let him seek peace and pursue it.” Praying that God helps us remember through this physical challenge that we are to “put off” and “put on” as He shapes us into the image of His Son!

  9. I’ve been using walking to accomplish my workout every day, so I will definitely continue to walk at least a couple days each week. We (my sisters and I) are hoping to branch out into other things like bike riding as well, instead of walking all the time. ? I can’t think of a special treat that I’m planning at this point, but one may come up!! We are hoping to get together with some friends for an epic finish line pic and if so, we will have some sort of treat then. ☺️??

  10. I will definitely continue to walk and run! No special plans for a treat as of yet… But I might try to come up with something to do with my local fellow Spring100ers! ;)

  11. I will endeavor to continue walking throughout this summer/fall/winter until next Spring100 :D Our family is getting together with some fellow Spring100ers and having a celebration walk and a meal together :) I am hoping to finish up this week, and then “reward” myself by going to a leadership camp all of next week :P

Leave a comment and make my day! :)
